I have had an ipod touch for years. It has on it all my music and over 50 apps. I just got a new iphone. So, I just synced the iphone and it put all my music onto the iphone. This was easy, but now I can't get my apps onto the phone. What do I do?

Even free apps cause most apps now have in-app content that can be purchased after you install the free app. It doesn't have to be a Credit card, Debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard symbol also work. You don't. Backup your itunes library on the old computer and move it to the new computer.

If they are purchased music from iTunes, just re-download again on your new computer.
Go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through all the tabs to download again for free

Wired iphone to my computer -opened itunes signed in - clicked on iphone tab at the top- then
What I was missing was to select Apps icon . (before i did this it only shows all what's in your library and you can't select any of them.)
When I did this a list of all my apps in my itunes library came up on the left hand side. The app icon pictures were in view and also a tab saying install . I was able to select what I wanted .
when I click them the tab said installing
I checked my iphone It showed them. also the bar in itunes shows a striped bar indication how long they will take.
wait until this bar as completed before disconnecting the wire.

You don't. Apps from iTunes are for iOS devices. Apps for the Mac come from the Mac app store. Click the apple >> app store.
