How do I get my apps out of iCloud they take up to much space?

I want to hide my apps in the cloud how do I do this, can you delete apps or are they there forever.

Welcome to the Apple community Donna.
The apps are not actually in your iCloud storage, they are links to the apps in the App Store. What you are seeing is your purchase history and as such cannot be deleted.
You can however hide your purchases, which you can do from the QuickLinks > Purchased option from the main page in the iTunes Store on your computer.

The way you restore an iCloud backup is to go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Conent and Settings (which will erase the iPad), then go through the setup screens on the iPad and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. You will then sign into your iCoud account, agree to the terms and conditions, then choose the backup you want to restore from.
Be sure you iPad is connected to wifi and your charger when you restore the backup as it may take some time to finish.

How can they take up that much space!?

I have around 600 photos/videos on my iPhone 4S, and they take up 6,4 GB!?
I do not understand how this is possible, as my friends all have over a 1000 photos,
and they take up much less space. Is there any way I can fix it?

While i could open the link in the right pane of the Bookmarks Manager, it did not allow me to change any of the text ... usually one would highlight the text and after a moment or two, the text would change into the edit mode allowing it to be modified. This was not true for the bookmark texts.
I am still trying to learn how to change the Bookmark text. All help appreciated.

the only place one can move apps in and out of is folders
if you tab and hold until it begin to wiggle then you can move it to the edge of the folder and that moves it out of it

just got my phone back from being repaired, I can see my contacts in Icloud but not sure how I get them back onto my phone

Go to settings, mail contacts and calendars, sign in with your apple id, and turn contacts on. That should resolve the problem.

How can I remove the icons from my personal toolbar (I don't need them, words are fine, and they take up too much space)?

I shorten the names of sites in the properties box to allow me to get a lot of them in my toolbar, and they no longer fit because of all the icons. Personally, I hate icons and don't understand why everyone has trouble with words, a trusted and highly refined technology of identifiers.

How to remove little icons for each site in toolbar? They take up so much space

In Firefox 4, all of the bookmarks in my toolbar now have little brand icons along with the name of the site. eg: NY times now has its "T" icon along with the name. These take up so much space that now there's no room for all the bookmarks I had on the toolbar.

If a reset didn;t work, then you can try restoring your iPad. Don't restore from a back up because if there is a glitch with restrictions, it will just set that option up again. Of if you are sure you have a backup created before you changed restrictions settings, then you can back up from that.

If the app is only available in the UK iTunes store and you are not in the UK, you cannot get it.

Tried to update an app and it asked for the password to my sister's Apple ID. I then checked to see whose Apple ID was logged in, in settings and it said that I was logged in. How do I get the app store to ask for MY Apple ID, not my sister's?

Tried to update an app on my phone but when it asked me to give the password for my AppleID, it was asking for the password to my sister's AppleID. I went to setting and down to itunes&app store settings and checked which AppleID was logged in, but i found that it was my AppleID that was logged in, not my my sisters. I then tried logging out and logging back in again but the app store, regardless of this, still asks me for my sister's AppleID and I don't know her password...How do I get the app store to ask me for MY AppleID password, not my sister's?

If this app was bought by your sister with her Apple ID, only her ID can update the app.

There are a variety of things you can do to extend your device battery life, and use your phone for longer periods of time to see you through the day.
Set your screen to timeout after a period of inactivity. This way your phone is not sitting idle with the screen backlight consuming extra energy. The recommended screen timeout is 30 seconds, but most phones will allow from 15 seconds to 10 minutes.

Some devices have an auto-brightness setting, where the phone adjusts the screen brightness depending on the light around it.
Close your applications. On smartphones, returning to the ‘home' screen only minimises your apps – they keep running in the background. Closing your apps fully will save power; for example, on Samsung Galaxy devices hold down the home button for two seconds to see a list of all open apps. You can then swipe these to the left of the screen to exit them completely. On an Apple product, double press the home button to bring up all active applications and exit from there.

When I make phone calls people on the other end have difficulty hearing me. They describe as they can hardly hear me as if I was speaking through the pillow etc). I am not touching any buttons and obviously it is not mute. This was happening couple of time in June, then every now and then. Recently it happened a few time in 2 weeks. I was trying to check if it was a reception issue but the place I spoke from is my office I make 70% of phone calls from. Can you book time for me in repair shop and address the issue.
