How can I get my audio book back on my ipad?
After syncing with itunes on the pc, my newly purchased audio books vanished from the ipad, and I can't copy it back! I've tried copying the audio book back into the library, but that didn't help.
Also couldn't get iTunes on my iCloud! there was no where to select on the icloud dashboard so that I can add iTunes ... Help!

Audiobooks are not currently available for repeat download from iTunes in the Cloud. Your audiobook should have transferred to your iTunes library when you synced your device.
You will need to contact support through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

  • How do I get the Audio Books to stick without error on any of my car

    Good evening all.
I have been drafting a FAN message in my head for several days now, mainly because I have seen so many people baggin all over the ZEN in a number of posts... It's getting late, and I am resolved to not bore everyone with my rhetorical delights, so - for this night I enter to say: - THANK YOU so very much for the Helpful Hints thread, that was very kind. And 2- The PQI SD cards, both the 2GB as well as the 4GB are a hit with the ZEN as well as all the others mentioned thus far.
Seems a big crowd is very disappointed with the cans and cant's of the internal memory being able to sync up directly with the SD cards; maybe my total "newby'ness", but I am thrilled with my product... I purchased the 2GB ZEN, and then scored the Bluetooth headphones that were discounted over a hundred bux over the Father's Day weekend.
I'm a disabled, over the hill gentleman, and wanted a media player to keep me company on the powerwheelchair rides into town and what not... Yes... Being able to drag or send **bleep** from internal memory to the SD card, vice versa would be a treat, but things are workable as is.
My ONLY problem thus far has been in trying to re-sync a couple of Audio Boox, FROM my ZEN internal flash memory, to my PC (that part looks as if it works out OK, and I can get them imported back into the AudioManager library) and then try to get them to hook in error free to one of the SD cards (it's here where the difficulty occurs)... I'd much prefer to have just music on the internal flash, and then carry all my extras on my cards; but I was all excited and stuff... Tried to take baby bites and little steps, but just couldn't resist digg!
There is simply no way that I can figure out how to get the Audio Books to stick without error on any of my cards. And therefore I am reluctant to delete them off the ZEN itself.
    Ahhhwell... Li've and learn!
Overall.. I am tickled green with the Creative ZEN, the Earphones and the investment into the extra 0 gigs of card memory.
Well... That was a bit longer than I wished, but for ME, it was a pretty **bleep** short write!
    Good night all.. Sleep well...

OH.. And my daughters little PNY 28mb card works with the unit too

Even if you could get protected content on the SD cards, AFAIK the Zen won't support bookmarks for files on the SD cards. That would make listening to lectures or audio books on the SD card would be very inconvenient?(who wants to have to remember where their place is, then fast forward to it each time they restart listening to it's). I am curious. Do you have any problems getting the audiobook files to play in the correct order, or do the tags sort them properly? It seems like many series of lectures or other series of audiofiles sort properly on the pc or in mp3 players that use the folder/filename system, but might not sort properly based on the ID3 tags?

  • How do I get my audio books purchased on iTunes onto my iPhone?

I have downloaded an audio book on iTunes, and I have searched my phone and I can't figure out how to listen to this book on my phone. When I look I can see the book is in my iTunes account on my computer. Is there a specific app I need for my phone? I have iBooks and the book is not there. I downloaded an app called Audible which is supposed to recognize my iTunes and it does not.
Help please. I'm not tech savvy and this is so frustrating.
    -J

Have you synced it from your computer's iTunes to your iPhone ? Audiobooks are a one-time only download from the store, so they need to synced or copied to any other devices or computer's that you want it on.
If not then it should be in the Books (Audiobooks if using OS X Mavericks on a Mac) part of your computer's iTunes library, and you should be able to sync it by connecting your phone and using the Books tab (in a similar way to how you use Music tab to sync music).
It should go into the Music app on your phone - when you have audiobooks on your phone you should get an Audiobooks option/tab in the Music app.
The iBooks app is just for ebooks, and the Audilbe app is for audiobooks that you buy direct from audible.com

  • HT4059 How do i get my audio books from my computer to my iphone

I have several audio books that I would like to have on my iphone.  I have looked at faq and it tells me to go to itunes and sync books or audio books.  There is no tab for that.  I have an iphone 4.  Can anyone help me plz and ty

If iTunes purchases then transfer them to your iTunes library:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
The sync to your iPhone. Make sure that in the Books pane in iTunes for the iPhone the box that says sync audio books is checked.
iTunes 11 for Windows: Syncing overview
iTunes 11 for Windows: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
If not iTunes purchased go the the support site for the purchases and see how to get them in your iTunes library.

  • How do i get an audio book to show the progress bar?

I want to get back to a specific point in an audio book to listen over again without having to listen to an entire chapter. I used to be able to drag the bar that appeared under the title of the book, but that bar is not there any more. I have set it up in options as audio book, remember place etc, but the progress bar has disappeared from all my books.

    What iOS version?
Are you using the Music app?

  • How do I get an audio book on my iphone

I purchased an audiobook via my mac today and want to get it on my iphone.  I cannot figure out how to download it to my iphone.  I connected my iphone to my laptop to sync but it did not download?  How do I find and download it?

I did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. Downloaded an audiobook from iTunes into my mac. Figured it would automatically sync to the iPhone. It didn't. I connected my iPhone to my mac and did a sync. Nothing. Tried to turn on Sync Books, but because I have most data connected to the Cloud, it wanted to delete all my music etc from my iPhone, so that wasn't an option. Today I attempted again. Not sure if it has to do with recent upgrades. I found a way today.
I plugged my iPhone5 into my mac. Opened iTunes.
In my mac library section, I went into 'Books' using the pulldown menu on the top left side of the window. (list has: Music, Movies, TVshows, Podcasts, Books, etc) (select Books).
I selected the icon of the book I wanted to copy onto my iPhone. I right clicked the mouse and it gave an option in the list to 'copy'.
Then I went to the top left pulldown menu and selected Music.
I made a playlist. I pasted the file in there.
Then I picked up the file and started to drag it towards the iPhone button on the top right. Before I got there, a window slide out from the right side of the screen that was titled the same name of my iPhone 5. I dropped the file in there.
I went to the iPhone. Into Music. At the bottom of the iPhone screen on the right, I clicked More. I selected Audiobooks and there was the book I copied. Hurray! Plays perfectly.

  • HT3819 How do I get an audio book from iTunes on to a Walkman via Windows?

Yes, I am a newbie to this.

My Daughter has created a an audio clip using iMovie and we need to burn into onto a CD or import to itunes/ipod. Is that possible?
Sure is. "Share" the file using the "Export using QuickTime..." option and select "Sound to AIFF" to create an audio file. This file can then be added to iTunes, burned, or converted to more compact format for iPod, etc.

  • HT1391 How do I load the audio book I purchased?

I have purchased a Book on I-tunes and would like to know if it is posible to load it onto my MP3 player?

The Audiobook you purchased from iTunes is in AAC (m4a) format. Unless it's DRM, you may be able to convert this AAC format into mp3 format so that you can transfer it to your MP3 Player.
Go to Itunes menu, EDIT > PREFERENCES, GENERAL tab. Go in IMPORT SETTINGS, under IMPORT USING, select MP3 encoder, then OK and OK.
Right click the Audiobook from library will give you a Menu to select CREATE MP3 version.
Right click the newly created MP3 version will give you folder location of the file next to "Where".

If it's an Audiobook, then it's probably in the Audiobook section of your iPhone. Have you set your iTunes to Sync Audiobooks with your iPhone?
Alternatively, if the Audiobook was imported into your iTunes Library as as Music, then it's going to be in the Music section of your iPhone. If so, then it will be in the Music section of your iTunes Library. To move it to the Audiobooks section, select it in the Library and choose File/Get Info/Options>Media Kind where you can change it.
You can change it to a Podcast, but since something is only a Podcast if it is delivered to your iTunes as a Podcast download (which is a process for delivering files without you having to go and find them), then your audiobook is not a Podcast and you may forget (in the future) how you obtained the book in the first place

  • Trying to get a audio book onto my ipod gen 2 , not appearing

Trying to get a audio book onto my ipod, doesn't seem to want to download

    Heather,
Can you first verify that you have configured the iPod to sync audiobooks from your iTunes library?  To do this, plug the iPod into your computer, and then when it appears in iTunes, select it from under Devices in the left hand pane.  This shoud bring you to the iPod's Summary tab.
Now in the main section/window of iTunes look for the Books tab along the top and click on it.  Under this tab you can configure how and what audiobooks are synced to your device.  Before making any changes, first verify that the Sync Audiobooks option is ticked at the very top.
If you do make any changes from under this tab, be sure to click the Apply button in the lower right to sync the updates changes to the iPod.
