My 27" iMac from 2011 froze and nothing initially seemed to reactivate it but after some guidance it turned out my bluetooth keyboard batteries were shot and some of the start-up tricks weren't working with a full deck but after a while we had movement on the arrow pointer and all seemed right with the world. Then today my keyboard seemed to stop its function and I can't type anything. Any suggestions?

So awhile back I spilt water on the keyboard of my 13 inch MacBook Pro. All was fine except for the fact that the keyboard on the computer no longer worked. I got a new wireless bluetooth keyboard and everything was good. My problem is that my computer was making this weird noise which I originally thought was the keyboard. This made me decide to turn off the Bluetooth. Then my computer decided to shut down(a side effect of the spilt water, it only happens periodically.) There is a password on my computer and as I mentioned before, my original keyboard no longer works. This means that I can't get on my computer in order to turn back on the bluetooth. What should I do?

You should take the computer in for service. The water has obviously damaged it. Continuing to run it will probably cause additional damage.

Hi guys,
How do i store a value that was accepted via keyboard into a int variable.
The method i tried to use was readInt of DataInputStream class which allows me enter some number then enter some number again and when i print the value stored in the variable, which is suppose to be what i entered, it prints a junk number.

For some reason, your Mac doesn't recognise that a keyboard is present, so it looks for a wireless keyboard. The question is, why doesn't your Mac recognise that a keyboard is attached?
First, you need to make sure you remove all peripherals, especially USB peripherals (the keyboard is on the USB bus). Then restart holding down the Shift key. This should boot in Safe mode. If the computer boots normally (not in safe mode) and the keyboard is still not working, try resetting the SMC

If that still doesn't fix the problem, then the keyboard (or its controller) is probably damaged and needs to be replaced.

The one that shows up when I press VO +HH won't let me copy & paste it, & it won't show up in the Help section no matter what subject I enter. The help topics shown do not correlate with the topics I'm entering. why is that??
2. Please make the cursor able to be wider, like in the software program Zoomtext, that I used when I had a PC. The razor-thin cursor (in this text box!) in Pages is impossible for me to see.

Apple really doesn't care what you think. They have an extremely low opinion of users. The real issue is Apple has continuously dumbed down their devices to match their clientele - and at that they are brilliantly successful.

They are designed for coins... is this your first time changing the battery? Make sure you are twisting in the right direction and make sure you are pushing down on it and applying pressure at the same time you turn.

You changed the proper preference, but you don't need to relaunch iTunes. You do, however, need to click the blue OK button at the bottom right of the preferences window. The change will happen then.

System Preferences > Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth Off. Under Devices listing, click once on the particular keyboard entry. Click the X to the right to remove it. Select Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Under Advanced, check all three buttons and click OK.
Put freshly charged batteries in the Bluetooth keyboard you want to pair. If it has an on/off switch, turn it on, and then also renable Turn Bluetooth On in the above bluetooth preference pane, and it will scan for the Bluetooth keyboard, which you can now name as your own.

Try Image Capture, which comes with your Mac. It should be in the Applications folder, or if not, try the Applications/Utilities folder. It should automatically find the right Epson driver for your scanner.
Also, I'm guessing you have Epson 630 rather than 360. If so, see this from Epson Website.
The latest printer and scanner drivers for this product are available from Apple's Software Update. Here's how to get them:
Do one of the following:
USB
Connect your product to your Mac using a USB cable and make sure the product is turned on.
Wireless
Connect your product to your router wirelessly and make sure the product is turned on.
