If you want to select None and remove the payment information or credit card from your account, follow these steps.
Using an existing iTunes Store or App Store account
If you have an unpaid balance or payment due, you can't select None as your payment type. To see which order you need to pay for, view your purchase history. When you sign in to the store, you may see a message that there was a billing issue with your last order. Click the Billing Info button to see the order.
After you pay for the order, you can change your payment information to None.
Creating a new iTunes Store or App Store account
When you create a new store account or sign in with an existing Apple ID (that you haven't used in the store), you must provide a payment method. If you want to remove the payment method after you create the account, you can change your payment information to None.
If you want to create an account with a new Apple ID, follow these steps to create an account without a credit card.

Go into settings and reset all network connections. Then restart your device by holding the power and home button until the Apple logo appears. You will not lose any data. When the device restarts connect to your wireless network.

I have been trying to download iOS 6.1 on my ipad. After its been downloading for about 4 hours, I receive a message that there is an error and cannot download. How can I delete this download from my settings? I tried downloading other apps, but it will not let me unless I download iOS 6.1

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Make sure you're using the correct code. For most iTunes cards, the code is under the scratchoff area on the back of the card. Also, the gift card you're trying to use must have been issued in the country whose iTunes Store you are using; you cannot use a card from another country. If you're sure you're using the correct code and that the card was indeed issued in your country, contact the iTunes Store Support; instructions are at the bottom of the article from which you came.

How do I get my code off my iTunes gift card, if the code was scratched off????????? Please someone give me some feed back! This is my 100th time trying to get an answer.
If your talking about the actual number that has been scratched off then toss it, it's now just a piece of plastic with some pretty writing on it. That number is what gives it value, with out it Apple wouldn't know what to do with it.

You might try e-mailing Apple directly and asking them as this is just a user to user forum, Apple just hosts it, they don't participate. -
I have a Mac Pro OS 10.7.5 and have a DVD+R disc with files on it, but it ejects the disk after about 10 seconds--what to do? How can I get the data off this disc? I can see it has been already burned, so files are on there?
Try cleaning the lens and see if that will restore functionality to the DVD drive. Use a DVD lens cleaning disk, if you have a can of compressed air, shoot some into the slot or wrap a fine microfiber cloth (eyeglasses cleaning cloth) around a business card and insert it gently inside the slot.
If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar and get a free diagnosis from them.

I want to switch stores from Japan to USA. I used to have an iTunes card, and there's 15 YEN left in my account, how can I get rid of that so I can start purchasing in the US store using my new credit card?

Once pictures are moved from your camera to your iPad (using the camera connection kit), how do you get the photos off of the iPad? They do not show up in my photo stream or my iCloud. I am able to see any photo I took on the iPad using the iPad camera (in iTunes, photo stream, or when I open windows explorer and browse the iPad director), however I cannot see any photos transfered from my camera to the iPad. The camera connection kit must have put my photos in a directory I cannot get to and cannot sync.

It sounds like you have photos in your Photo Stream that you would like to download. The photos are not actually stored on your Apple TV, it sounds like they are being displayed from your Photo Stream. Because your Mac and PC have more storage than your iOS devices, you can choose to download all of your My Photo Stream photos automatically.
In iPhoto or Aperture preferences on your Mac, select Photos (or Photo Stream) > My Photo Stream > Automatic Import. All of your photo stream photos will import into your Events, Projects, Photos, Faces, and Places folders in iPhoto or Aperture.
On your PC with My Photo Stream on in the Control Panel, all of your photos will import intoC:\\Users\<user name>\Pictures\iCloud Photos\My Photo Stream
