How do I get my Close, Minimise and Maximise Buttons to Show
When I first installed Photoshop CS6 Extended on my Mac it had a bar running along the top that had the program name in it (Photoshop) with the red, orange and green, close, minimise and maximise buttons in it.
Somehow I have turned this off and the three buttons no longer show. Below is an example picture of the bar I'm wanting to turn on:
I have the application frame turned on and they still do not show. I'm sure the answers simple, however any help would be hugely appreciated.

Like most people, I work with most of the CS6 programs open at the same time. If I tweak a graphic from Photoshop and then return to Illustrator or InDesign to see how the updated graphic will appear, my usual mode of doing so would be to hit "Command-W" to close the Photoshop window/work environment/application frame - or whatever one calls it. Then, I'd click on the program beneath to see the update occur. In CS5, that worked just fine. Command-W and Photoshop was out of the way. With CS6, I hit Command-W and the opaque application frame/workspace is still there and I can't seem to get it out of the way without using Control/Comman/M. I figure that I'm missing something rather elementary. The new GUI of Illustrator and Photoshop is bad enough (flat Windows mess) without this little annoyance.

PS: Well, it was my "minimized" brain. I had "Application Frame" selected in the Window menu.
PPS: the GUI is still Windows-Ugly. Any ideas?

My system recovered from a serious error recently. During the error, Firefox crashed. Since I have restarted my system and Firefox, I cannot use any of the toolbar options such as:close, minimise and maximise. Also, when I right click, an outline of a box appears without the visible options although on some occasions they appear after 10 seconds or so. Can you advise me of what to do to cure this problem please or is it a case of using a Windows tool such as System Restore?

Minimise and maximise buttons in Flex Store
Hi,
I'm writing a Flex app and would like to implement something
similar to the Flex Store's minimise and maximise buttons. I know
how to add an icon using titleIcon in the Panel properties but I
would like to add two buttons to the panel header. Can anyone give
me any ideas on how to add these buttons to the header of the
panel?

I'm trying to do something similar and I'm looking at the
code from Flexstore to work out what is going on.
The problem I'm having is I keep getting:
"Access of undefined property titleBar"
"Access of undefined property statusTextField"
"Access of undefined property titelTextField"
Is there something obvious that I'm missing? I'm really new
to Flex and it could be something obvious.
I wondered if it was something to do with the changes made
for the final release, but when I downloaded the Flexstore source I
got it to work locally.

Can someone please help me get the close minamize and maximize buttons back above each video?
I enterened something in terminal that made the top bar on each video with the close minamize and maximize buttons disapear...does anyone know how to get it back? thank you in advanced.
Check the very first post on this forum: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=775514. You didn't mention whether your controller has disappeared also, but it seems like the second or fourth command on that page should help.

How can I get past "close IE" to continue the install even though IE is closed?
I keep trying to install flash for win7 pro 64 bit and it stops half way through and even though I've closed IE, it will not get past 50%. The other thing that concerns me is that flash 32 bit is installed but I can't uninstall it even using adobe's uninstall. I get the same error message that I have to close IE even though it is not open. I've been through all of the troubleshooting steps. I have adobe in my accepted list with https:
Anyone know the answer to this? I can't watch anything online without it. If not, can someone tell me how to contact adobe for this problem because I have no other options.Here's the log. Thanks again.

How do I get the close tab x to be on the tab?
Every time I want to close a tab I have to bring up the tab list. How do I get the close tab x to be on the actual tab?
I don't think there is a built-in setting for that. The one used on desktop versions of Firefox has no effect in the Android version (browser.tabs.closeButtons).
The easiest workaround I could find was the Quick Gestures extension. One of the many actions for which you can define a gesture is to close the current tab. By default, the gesture is Down Right Up, which didn't seem to work for me. I changed it to Left Right Left and that does work.
If you haven't installed any add-on in Firefox for Android before:
menu > Tools > Add-ons > Browse all Firefox add-ons
Here you can search for gestures
After installing, return to the tab with Add-ons, tap Quick Gestures and then tap Enable and under Preferences, Open. Then you can see and customize individual gestures. -

I spilled water on my laptop and my "i", "j" and "k" letters don't work on my laptop. However my main problem is that my password contains an "i" so i am locked out of my computer. Any ideas how I can get around the password and login. I tried the method where you go into single user mode and type in commands, however that method uses some of the letters that are not working on my laptop.
You didn't mention which version of OS X your running but there are password reset utilities provided OS X: Changing or resetting an account password (Snow Leopard and earlier) - Apple Support or OS X: Changing or resetting an account password - Apple Support
Alternately you can use an external keyboard to log in and change the password. Make a backup if you don't have one, it's likely that your problems aren't over. If that water continues to migrate downward and fries the logic board your macbook will be toast. -
How do I get my Macbook Pro and iphone 5 to sync calendars in 2014? It worked fine in 2013, but the 2014 dates are blank on my Macbook. The all icloud is checked on my phone and the enable icloud account and push are selected on the Macbook.
ThanksDo the events from your iPhone calendar appear on icloud.com? If not, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) and make sure you have selected an iCloud calendar as your default. If you haven't, make this change, then add a new event on your iPhone calendar and see if appears on icloud.com and your Mac now.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. You can set up an iCloud account on each one (the SAME iCloud account using the same AppleID on each) and then sync via iCloud.

However, an iCloud backup nor sync contains purchased content - that is available for redownload from the iTunes and App stores (so no need to waste iCloud space storing it for you).
So, for purchased content, you will have to download it on each device - just use the same AppleID and download each item on each device.
Without a computer to aid the sync'ing, downloading the purchased content on each device is the only way.
P.S audiobooks cannot be re-downloaded once purchased (all other content can be), so without a computer to save, store and move the audiobook files around, you will only be able to put those on one device - the one you first purchase it on. -
How do I get all the songs from an album to show in the album view? Currently, if an album lists the artist plus a guest artist, those are shown separately and appear to be two different albums on my iPod. How do I get all the songs on that album together on my iPod? If the album is a collaboration wtih many artists, each sond may appear as a separate album.
I used to have this problem.
First, you need to go back on iTunes
you need to go to each of the songs that are having this problem
Click the album so all the songs drop down
Right click the songs that have this problem
Click ' Get info '
Click the tab that says " info '
The box that says ' album artist ' should probably be empty (correct me if I'm wrong)
Click it and type the artist of the entire album, NOT the songs guest artist
as such,
