In your preferences (Tools -> Options in the menu), go to the "Security" tab and make sure "Remember Passwords for sites" is checked. Also, if you have previously clicked the "Never" option for remembering username/password for a specific site, and have changed your mind, the site should appear when you click "Exceptions" next to "Remember passwords for sites".
Some sites do not allow the browser to supply a username/password for you, such as sites whose login pages are made with Flash. If you're able to save passwords for some sites but not others, this may be the problem.

My guess is that while you added catetories to your Budget Sheet by adding new lines and filling in the category column, you didn't also add the formulas to these new budget lines.
The proper way to add those lines would have been to select a cell in the line just above where you want to add a line and type Option/Alt-DownArrow. This would have copied the formulas into the new line. Maybe you did this, and maybe not. You didn't give details on how you added the lines.
Select C2 and D2 and Command-C to copy them to the Clipboard.
Select all the cells of Columns C and D except for the top and bottom rows and Command-V to Paste.
If I have properly guessed the problem, you should be in business. This assumes that your Categories are exaclty the same as the entries in your Pop-up menus. Spelling counts, as does case.

Open Applications and the the Utility folder and then Keychain Access app. In there you will find all the usernames and password that have been saved. For some reason it is not saving those passwords and or not using the ones that have been saved.

Hold the Option key down and restart. Select one of the drives that comes up and hit the Return key.

How do I get the computer to automatically recognize that I've purchased Pages and Numbers?

You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

I have an external eSATA drive connected via PCI Express card to my Mac Pro. When I wake the computer, I get a complaint about not correctly ejecting the disk. The reason for the external drive is to back up my TiVo recordings...WARNING...If you have a DVR Expander connected to your TiVo and EITHER fails, you lose everything! I now transfer all my recordings from my TiVos to this drive so I won't lose recordings in the future. Plus I can take the drive with me and connect it via a Thunderbolt wire and watch them on my laptop.

Music is not included in the backup (and nor are films or tv shows), only the contents of third-party apps are included. Did you not do File > Transfer Purchases when connected to your computer's iTunes to copy your iTunes purchases over, and/or have you not got a backup copy of your music somewhere e.g. on an external drive ?

In the text you say you are using Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard will not operate on a G4 (or any Mac with a PowerPC processor). Leopard OS 10.5 is the max OS for PowerPC processor Macs. Your profile shows OS 10.5.6. What OS are you using (or trying to use)?
Will the PB boot using a systen install DVD?
