How do I get my eprint email back

I had lots of trouble getting my printer to eprint. (It was fine a year ago). So after some research I found the DNS entries were missing. I added them and now my printer is connected and registered. How do I get my original email back for the printer rather than the cryptic one assigned? I tried to change it but it says someone else has it but I know I had this morning per hp connected website (which said I owned it but printer was offline) that someone was me. The email I want is quite unique so unlikely someone else took it. I would really like that email back, please suggest. Thanks jc

Hey , Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I see that you're looking to get the custom ePrint address that was assigned to your HP Officejet 6500a Plus e-All-in-One Printer back. I would like to help. It's clear you already know how to enable ePrint and customize the randomized addresses that are automatically assigned. The downside to this feature is that you cannot get an ePrint address back when webservices are removed and then re-enabled. I figured it out. I couldn't see the old backups because the sparsebundle had not been properly unmounted in a previous session, so it kept giving an "already in use" error. The problem was solved by restarting the Time Capsule through the Airport Utility, mounting the sparsebundle by double-clicking it, and then going through the "Browse other backup disks" option in the Time Machine menu bar icon.

I can't get my ePrint email back!!!

Despite all my efforts, I could not get ePrinting to work. My email address was showing on my Zeen tablet, but then when I enabled it (after disabling it in an effort to make something happen!), it allocated me a new address (which in the main is a claim code).
So, I entered the new claim code, got the printer showing as on-line, and then tried to change the email address back to the one I had.
Only way I could get to the next step, was to delete the printer which I couldn't get to show as "On Line".
Done.
Now it tells me that my ePrint email address is not available - even after the messages about deleting and I could not 'undo'.
So - my ePrint email address is running around in some virtual reality somewhere - any ideas how I can get it back?
I don't want the hassle of telling folks the new one!

When I first purchased my phone in January I had an email address of [email protected] but found that the phone and comline weren't talking to each other so I set up email [email protected] and everything worked perfectly -- calendar, e-mail, etc. Last week a message appeared on my phone instructing me to upload new software. My [email protected] for icloud was replaced my the old email address. The account was locked so I went to iforgot.apple, etc and reset it. Then I took the option to change the email and on the computer all looks correct but my phone still has my old e-mail. I've turned it off and on hoping the new info would be loaded but no luck. Any ideas?

I kind of agree with Philly on this one. If you get a new email address, there is no need to establish an entirely new account to use that address. You just need to modify your account to show the new email address. This way all your purchase history and rights to purchased apps stays in place. Creating a new iTunes/Apple account each time your email address changes really doesn't make sense in my opinion. I only point this out for future searchers who end up on this thread.

I think I screwed up, I was attempting to sync my Iphone 5 to Itunes, and in the process, all my current information is gone, including my correct email account, and the data is all from my old Iphone 3. I've tried everything to reverse/restore it back, but it won't let me finish some commands, since the old email address is on there, and I don't have the password. I even tried adding my newest email address, and it won't let me do that as well. Says the password is wrong, yet Apple and Icloud recognize it when on the computer. ????

Also, when you made your new email your Apple ID, did you go into the old Apple ID and edit it to the new email, or did you create a brand new Apple ID?

HELP! how can I get my outbox emails back- they vanished without sending!!!

I just came off 8 hour transatlatic flight the entireity of which I spent dealing dealing with email and deflagging as I hit send.
When we touched down and I connected to wifi expecting to see the 27 messages in my outbox send.... But they didn't. They just sat there. New mail didn't come in either. Mail ended up crashing and I had to do restart... after which there were no messages in outbox!!!!
Most of the emails were associated with my work Gmail account however I also have a personal gmail. My personal Gmail is picking up email however my work one is not....
I've tried sending a coupel test emails but they now sit in my outbox without sending. Unfortunately they sit alone in my outbox... can see no sign of the others... and they aren't in my drafts. I do have a couple emails I had written but not sent sitting in drafts.
I'm freaking out not just because I lost 8 hours work but also because I have no way of figuring out what emails I responded to now thay are unflagged. I get ~500+ emails a day so this.
Any here GREATLY appreciated.

The thing is that desktop e-mail programs allow you to specify exactly what happens when you "delete" a message on an IMAP folder:

I don't see where to configure these options on the phone. Also, some e-mail programs have an command to "expunge" messages on the server. What happens if you login to your IMAP account from a desktop computer and "compact" the folders?

It's most likely not you, no matter what they say. I have noticed a LOT of fraud with itunes, even with my own account. One time I caught them doing a database restore. I know this because my password automagically reverted back to an old one! I'm an IT guy who helped design DOD classified networks in the mid-pacific. I know security. The best protection for this is to NOT have a credit card listed in iTunes. Use iTunes cards ONLY. It's a pain, but until they step up, it's all you got.

Where were you syncing the contacts to, iCloud, the computer and Outlook, an email account? That is where you get them back from.

I have tried to sign in and up for ePrint but every time I receive a message advising that my email account is already registered with Snapfish .This still does not explain how I can get into ePrint .I no longer remember the password or which email addy I used for Snapfish can anyone assist me plz .

If you are getting the message account registered with snapfish then you can go to snapfish.com and select forgot password link and you will be sent a temporary password to log into snapfish once you reset your password with snapfish then you can log into ePrint with your snapfish password. Another option if its available to you is to use a different email address to create and ePrint account.
