How Do I get my HP 1510 All-In-One Printer install without a CD

I forgot where my CD for installation was. I keep finding but I never saw it. Are there any options for my printer to be installed at my pc besides the CD?

    My Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Printer is Hooked up. All tests show a Green Arrow, It is Turned on, and Online. It will Print a TEST PAGE, but nothing else. I have Run the HP DR Support program several times to no avail. No Error Codes or Signs appear. It simply will NOT WORK other than printing a TESTPAGE or Scanning Copies on the Printer/Copy Machine. Please Help. I have been trying to get it to work for a week. It IS a New Printer. I have tried it on 2 seperate Computers which work well with other Brands of Printers.     Welcome to the HP Community , I read through your post about the printing issues you have been having, and I hope to help you! Seeing how the printer will make copies and test print tells us that the printer itself is fine and there is no hardware issues. However, seeing how printing from two different computers will not work, flags a software problem on the computers. Please try out the steps below and get back to me with the results and we will go from there. If you did not install the Full Driver, run the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows to search and install the complete driver and software. This will need to run on both computers individually. Manually restart the print spoolers on the computers:1. Click Start
    2. Type "Services" in the search field.
    3. Open SERVICES
    4. At the bottom, click "Extended View"
    5. Search for Print Spooler
    6. Right-click it and choose Properties
    7. Select as Automatic in the drop down box, close the Window
    8. Right click on Print Spooler and choose "Stop", wait until it stops and then right click again and "Start".
    9. Close out of Services and try printing from Notepad.10. Try printing from a web browser now, if there is a problem with the print, try a different web browser.  Show thanks for my reply to help you today by hitting the "thumbs up" icon below!I hope to hear from you, good luck!

    I have just purchased a new 1510 all in one printer.
    I have installed the printer software from the CD supplied.
    However when I try to run the printer HP assitant comes on with run time error.
    I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer many times but with the same result

    Thanks a lot for the question, now lets get you an answer!
    I see you are experiencing a "run time error" when trying to run your printer assistant after installing the HP 1510 software drivers.
    Here is a description of what a run time error is. Microsoft Run Time Error
    This might be because you have an outdated operating system, anti-virus blocking etc. Please take some time to follow the 3 step procedure to see if that fixes the issue.
    Here is also a separate way to download the drivers from the web instead of a disk. Just click the appropriate link - Install / Uninstall software & drivers

  • PSC 1510 All in one printer - won't print even black and white when colour cartridge not recognised

    My PSC 1510 All in one printer is flashing the "check printer cartrige icon" and both "Black" and "Colour" icons at the bottom left of the printer.
    It won't print at all, even when I select grayscale (black and white). The help pages tell me that if I remove the colour cartridge the printer will switch to backup mode and I'll still be able to print in black and white (though not copy or scan). But this is not the case, and I can find no way of switching manually to backup mode. The help pages have no useful explanation of backup mode. I've also tried cleaning the cartridge (which I'm pretty sure isn't empty) but that makes no difference.
    Can anyone help? I'd be very grateful.

    With only one cartridge light blinking I would suspect the cartridge, they do rarely fail (much more often for reman cartridges, see here).  Clean the cartridge contascts as shown here.  If that fails and the cartridge is an original HP then check the warranty date as shown here.  If the cartridge is in warranty return it to your dealer for a warranty replacement.
    The printer will automatically switch to backup mode if the black (or color in some printers) cartridge is removed.  I do not know if this works with the PSC 1510, some all-in-on devices insist on having both cartridges present.

  • Windows RT and HP PSC 1510 All-in-One printer connection

    Hi, I have a Windows 8.1 RT tablet (Microsoft Surface 2) and a wired HP PSC 1510 All-in-One printer. Now when I plug in the printer via the USB, there is no driver that can be found to make this printer work with my device. Anyone have this problem or any solutions? I've tried looking at HP support and nothing there has been helpful.
    Let me add that on the Microsoft Surface, you cannot run .EXE files which are the file types of the HP drivers.

  • Usb for 1510 all-in-one printer causing problems with it accepting print jobs

    I am having trouble downloading the driver for a 1512 all-in-one printer.  It was working for about a week and it is not working now.  I loaded the suggested driver 1510 all-in-one driver but when I get to plugging in the usb from my Windows 7 laptop to the printer, it does not feel it is connected.  I can print items that I scan but am puzzled how it will not print.  The only thing I have deduced is I need a new usb cable.  I bought on ebay as I've always had good luck with hp products.

    I decided that in spite of the fact that it had previously printed, I got another USB cord and used that and then the printer worked.  The one I received with the printer must have been too loose to make a connection.  This one feels snug when i need to print from my laptop.  Thanks for your help.   • HP PSC 1510 All in One Printer

    My all in one printer won't feed the photo paper into the printer even though I have changed all the settings to "best" and "glossy."  I have shut the printer down, unplugged it and it still won't work.  I read that you an use a "HP Paper Feed Cleaning Kit" to clean the rollers but I don't see anywhere to purchase it on this site.  Does anyone have any ideas about why the printer isn't pulling the glossy paper up into the printer?  Thank for you help!

    I have been researching this for days!  My mom recently gave me her 1510 All-In-One & I didn't have a problem until about a week after I got it.  No matter if it's plain paper or photo paper, it's like it doesn't grab the paper & then that darn error light starts flashing!!  I had to feed the paper manually.. and now just within the last two or three days, it won't even work when I do it that way!!  I'm so frustrated!  I googled it and it seems as if quite a few people have had this same problem!  One thread recommended reinstalling the driver, so I did that... and nothing.  I tried cleaning the rollers as well... still nothing!  I'm going to keep researching.  If I find a solution I'll let you know tahoedrmr, otherwise.. if anyone else who happens to come along & knows how to solve this problem, I would greatly appreciate the help!!!!

  • Paper feed out of sync on HP PSC 1510 All-in-One Printer Scanner

    Paper feed out of sync on HP PSC 1510 All-in-One(SN MY59SD224W0498). Goes to flashing orange light. With Vista Home Premium 32-bit, 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Build 6002. USB connection to HP Pavilion GU658AA-ABU a6250.uk .
    After cleaning ink drip tray including removing & refitting the small panel in the base towards the rear RHS of the  printer and also Super Glueing a small wedge of timber to close split shaft bearing for rear print feed rollers - looking from rear with clean out door removed this is at the LHS where the cogs are - paper feed is out of sync. When turned on with paper in feed tray printer draws in paper until about 2" (5cm) of paper protrudes from delivery slot & then stops. Paper jam is indicated by flashing orange light. On pressing Cancel/Resume, paper is expelled & another sheet taken in with the same results. Have turned off & restarted. Have moved cartridge cleaner tray right from front to rear & tested & then brought it right forward again & tested. Have turned off & unplugged power & USB & restarted after more than 30 minutes. Have uninstalled driver & downloaded & installed anew. Downloaded & ran the HP Print Diagnostic Utility. All to no avail. Any suggestions anyone?

  • CAnnot get HP Officejet 7210 All-in-One to install

    Have attempted to install numerous ways the HP Officejet All-in-One 7210, using both HP sent disc for WIN7, Download from HP and Download from Microsoft.  Have even done a regedit of all 'HP' and fresh restart.  This printer worked fine under WIN XP Pro but now with a fresh install of WIN7.  It runs through the install but won't print.  In checking the properties of the Printer it shows model #unavailable, scanner unavailable and under driver shows nothing.  Can someone help?

    How is the printer connected - USB or wired LAN?  I would suggest you look in the CD for a util\ccc directory.  In this directory should be a series of batch files, uninstall_L1.bat through uninstall_L4.bat.  Disconnect the printer, then  run the uninstall_L1, then uninstall_L2 and uninstall_L3 files.  Next run the install program and do not connect the printer until prompted to by the installer.

  • How do I get my photosmart premium all-in-one C309g printer back online

     My printer won't print because it somehow put it self offline.  I can't figure out how to put it back online.  I have already tried turning the printer off, waiting for a while then turning it back on.  I also turned off the router, and the computer waiting for a while then turning them back on.  None of this has worked for me.
    If it is my printer that is causing the problem, then I will just get a new one, but first, I want to try everything to see if I can get this problem solved.

    Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see your HP Photosmart C309a will not print, the printer is showing as offline. I would love to get you back up and printing but require a little more information:
    1. What is your current Operating system, Windows or Mac and which version?
    2. How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?
    3. Have you re ently changed any of the wireless settings, or router?

  • How do I get my HP photosmart all in one C4580 to print all pages?

    My printer will print a one page document,  but will only print the last page if more than one page.   I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and still no change.   I have windows 7 and have been using the printer up until about a month ago when it started this problem.   What can I do to correct this?

    Thanks for that. Yes I did see that in my chasing around, but it would be nice to have it the other way round as a default. I understand why it is done that way, but I rarely, these days, have large documents to print and the right way round would be useful! Particularly when occasionally, as I say above, I want to double side print which the HP doesn't do as a norm! C'est la vie!!

    Hi,
    You cannot set Black and White printing while using Apple's AirPrint (the integrated print option within iOS).
    You may do so however for documents, emails and web pages by using the HP ePrint mobile app:

  • Problems with my HP PSC 1510 All-In-One Printer

    I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem that I've been having. I just bought a new computer and had to upgrade my printer to Windows 7.   I had no trouble with the installation process, but ever since I've downloaded the update, EVERY time I go to print something, a test page prints out first.   • Why won't an hp F4480 all-in-one printer install on an imac running mavericks?

    I researched this printer before I tried to install it. According to both the Apple and HP websites, the driver for it is already included in Mavericks, and no driver downloads were necessary. I followed the instructions I found on the HP site to install the printer with a USB connection, and the imac picked up the printer as an HP 4400 series, but in spite of that the printer was not listed in the Add menu where it was supposed to be. I tried using the generic printer driver, and it did not work when I tried to send a print job. There was no error message, but the document sinply never made it to the print queue. I had to reset the printing settings to remove the printer since it wasn't working. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution?

    This is my first Mac, and I just set it up, so I am new to all of this. If there is something I am not understanding, I apologize.
    If I go to the app store and check for updates, it shows that no updates are available. There is a list of updates that were installed yesterday, the day I turned it on, but some of them have an x next them. Safari, itunes, ibooks and digital raw have the x, while garageband, pages, numbers and keynote have icons next to them in the list of updates. Does that mean the ones with the x did not really update? Would that somehow affect whether or not the HP driver I need would show up when I install the printer? As far as I can tell the OS is updated. I checked the version in system information and it is 10.9.2.
