How do i get my HP MF1217 to connect to my time capsule

I just bought a HP Laser Jet MF1217 and I can't get it to connect to my time capsule so it is available wirelessly on my network. I have an Mac running Mountain Lion and have a Fios modem that I connect to the time capsule and then everything connects wirelessly to the time capsule on my network. I can get the printer to work through usb but I want to be able to use it wirelessly and Air print so our phones can print to it.
Anyone else been through this yet?

If you have FIOS router.. does that have wireless? Set the TC up in bridge mode.. join the Printer to the FIOS router by wireless.. it will not matter which it connects to.
If you really need to connect to the TC.. make sure the TC is setup using SMB names.. short, no spaces pure alphanumeric. I would give a different name to 5ghz.. and lock the wireless channels as well.
I am not sure of that particular printer but setting up manually for wpa2 personal security will be easier than using WPS.. which is difficult to access on the TC.. although it should be on the FIOS.

Here is what I would look into.
Use iCloud and photo stream to upload pictures taken with the iPad.
Find a remote log in utility, or web based app to then remote to your computer.
Download the files from photo stream to your time capsule.
As far as recommending a remote log in utility. I have not experience in that area and would need to do research my self.

Yeah I'm getting the same issue. I purchased a new Mac Mini yesterday purely to use the new FCPX, and now on day 1 I'm already running into problems... please don't make me switch to Premiere.
Set up the computer with external yesterday, never set anything to Time Machine. Here's a screenshot of the drive, formatted on Mac OS Extended (Journaled):

Make sure that the drive has been formatted correctly to work with the Time Capsule.
That means a format of Mac OS Extended (Journaled)....highly recommended.....or FAT32.
Once this is checked, open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit
Click the Disks tab at the top of the screen
If the USB port on the Time Capsule can supply enough power to the hard drive, you will see the name of the drive displayed in the window, per the example below:
If you have the correct format on the drive, and it does not appear, this is an indication that the USB port on the Time Capsule (which is under powered), does not have enough power to work with your hard drive.......even if the hard drive has its own power supply.
In this case, you will need to use a powered USB hub with the Time Capsule to provide enough current for the hard drive.
Now you should be able to access the drive using the Finder to mount it on the desktop.

I'm facing the following problem:
I have a Time capsule that is connected to a airport extreme via a hard wire. The Time Capsule is set to Network Router OFF mode, the Airport extreme to DHCP.
All my stuff works just fine (IPad, IPhone, MacAir,...), but the HP Wireless printer (HP Photosmart Prem C310) refuses to colaborate.
Using the wireless setup wizard I can select my SSID and the network test report comes out ok expect the IP address is 0.0.0.0.
For some odd reason I'm unable to select a manual IP address: I can select the Manual IP Address in the menu, type in an IP Address, but when I press Done it shows "IP Address:No Link".
Anybody a clue on how to solve this?

This solved my problem:
Go to setup>network>Restore Network Defaults.
2. Next, Power off the printer and disconnect the power cord from the wall and the printer.
3. Disconnect the power from the router for 1 minute.
4. Reconnect the power to the router and wait for the lights to return to normal.
5. Reconnect the power to the wall and the printer.
6. Once the printer has loaded, run the wireless setup wizard again.

I'm using a Macbook Pro running the latest version of Snow Leopard and my external HD is a G-Drive mobile 500GB. I have the external HD connected to the USB port of my time capsule. How do I access this drive? I've already turned the Time Capsule file sharing feature on, but I don't know where I go to actually access the drive. It's recognized under Airport Utility---> Disks, but isn't mounted on my desktop. So my two questions are:

Check out the "Shared" devices section left side of the finder window. Here is where your time capsule should
show. Click on it and a window will open showing your TC HD and the ext network HD.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can't doing anything abouty this, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted.

Adobe Bridge, lightroom and your file browser (windows explorer or Mac Finder) can select multiple pictures at once and then delete. If you are looking for more than that for information, you will need to be more specific at what your doing, what OS you have, and version of software your using. When I open “airport utility,”on my iMac it tells me this version doesn’t support my base station & says go to “Airport Service & Support.” That’s what got me here.
My earlier MacBook runs OS 10.6.8. Its version of Airport Utility works. Its Airport ID has 17 characters, & uses the same password to access the internet, but it also has a “wireless password” of 26 characters, but only shows me the dots. i haven’t the foggiest notion what the characters are, if I put them in there years ago when i did the original configuration, or if they got there otherwise..

For the iPad, iMac you need to create verifyible e-mail addresses created with one of the providers such as Yahoo, Gmail,etc. For the iphone you should use it's phone number, but an e-mail could be used for it too. If you want to associate these e-mail addresses with a single ID, I'm including a link to give you info about how you can do that. Read it carefully, as it can be a bit confusing.
