How do I get my iCloud Calendar to Sync on my iPhone?

I am currently using iCloud across my MacBook Pro, iPhone 4S and Microsoft Outlook on Windows 7. Everything seems to be syncing well apart from the Calendar on my iPhone 4S which seems to only synchronise upon opening Calendar for the first time after a restart of the phone. After the first starting of the application, it seems to just refuse to synchronise the calendar (even if I try to force it by going to Calendars > Little Circular Arrow button) until I restart the phone. I have tried removing my iCloud account and putting it back on - all to no avail.
I am also having another issue with iOS where it appears my Phone app keeps crashing (after trying to open the Phone part or contacts, quite often I just get a white screen which requires a restart), so I am beginning to think that it may be a bug which I have to wait to be fixed in the next iOS update? Does anyone else seem to get these problems?

Entourage will not sync with iCloud, not now, probably not ever, time to change.

I can't get my calendars to show the same events.  Macbook has 1 set of events, iphone has different events.  Some are on both but not all.

  • Why will my icloud calendar not sync between my iphone and calendar on Outlook PC?

Why will my icloud calendar not sync between my iphone and calendar on Outlook PC?

I think I may be having the same issue In a round about kind of way.  Just got an iPhone4S ... everything worked great until today when I started tinkering with the settings in my new phone and noticed my cloud was getting full and I had two iPhone back ups on there at 4GB a piece.  So.... I deleted the old back up of the iPhone4 and after that is when I started noticing issues.  The cloud on my phone can no longer authenticate itself , unable to tell me when the last back up was, and will not perform a back up at all. Furthermore I am unable to download apps or updates on my iphone4S, they all sit in "waiting" status....
I also must say that I purchased an iPad 2 and still have my original ipad in the house and active.  Both back ups are in the cloud and both devices work fine independently and can download apps and back up fine as well. I'm pretty sure this may be the culprit concerning this issue and I too have no idea how to fix it. Please Help!!!

  • How come my iPad with iCloud doesn't sync with my iPhone 4 that has same apple id and both ios5?

How come my iPad with iCloud doesn't sync with my iPhone 4 that has same apple id and both ios5?

Not sure if you just have an issue with your setup or something else.
I had an issue where my numbers and pages documents were not syncing on my ipad, but were on my iphone.
I turned icloud off an on, reset the apps, even deleted them and reinstalled them.  I also checked all of the other icloud setting.
Only thing that worked (and it might be just a fluke)  I emailed from my iphone a numbers document to my ipad.  I opened then closed the document and the app.  When I opened it back up it started importing my icloud documents.
If it is a settings issue then you need to be sure you have icloud setup in your mail settings.  Has to be there and active.

  • How can I get my iCloud calendars to show up in Outlook for Mac

I just bought a new Mac and downloaded MS Office 365 for Mac.  How can I import my icloud calendar into Outlook?  I can't find any concrete info anywhere online.
    Thanks!

Apple's documentation doesn't mention this as far as I can see: however it's correct that subscribed calendars could not be viewed on MobileMe (though they did sync to other devices: however it would seem that what was synced was the details of the subscription, not the calendar itself, so that effectively the other device just subscribed to the calendar afresh).
I think that, subject to  correction from someone who's managed to do this it's a safe assumption to say that you cannot view subscribed calendars on the iCloud website, and that this is very likely a limitation of the CalDAV process.

  • Using iCloud my iCloud calendar is syncing with my iPhone but not with the Outlook calendar on my PC (Windows 7)

I agree. What I see is that it is creating an icloud calendar in Outlook but I want it to sync to Outook itself.
That is what it does. There is no sync, you have a new calendar.

  • How can I get my ICloud calendar to share with my notebook calendar?

I now have 2 calendars to consult, and I want them to be combined to the calendar showing on my notebook.  How do I do this?

Do  you want to sync between multiple OS X and/or iOS devices?
If they both have the same Apple ID you can sync them through iCloud:
Mac:  System Preferences > iCloud > enable Calendars (check the check box).
iOS:          Settings: iCloud: Calendars on (green).
If they have different Apple IDs share individual calendars.
Mac:  In the Calendar application mouse over the calendar you want to share, click on the broadcast icon and enter the email address of the person with whom you want to share.

Mine is similar, I've managed to sync contacts but no calendar, it says that I don't have an account on outlook. When actually there is.

  • How can i get my icloud calendar appointments to appear in the outlook to-do bar?

I find the upcoming appointments in Outlook's To-Do Bar really useful but since synching with icloud they are no longer there. I know this is an ongoing issue and wondered if there was any up-to-date information on how to resolve it?

There has been no change, MS have yet to alter Outlook to more fully take advantage of iCloud.

  • HT204053 How can I get an icloud account without merging my husbands iphone info, we have same itunes acct

My family shares the same itunes account on all three iphones and my ipad.  I am trying to back up my iphone data without having it merge with my husband and daughters iphone.  How do I do this?  I just tried to back up my device in itunes with a protected password and it will not back up.  Can I create an icloud account for my phone and different icloud accounts for my husband and daughter and still keep our itunes account?
    Thanks
    Denise

Yes, you can do that. Just create a new iCloud account for you:
    1. "Settings > iCloud" (log out from your husbands account, if you are signed in and delete this account from your iPhone)
    2. Create a new iCloud account on your iPhone with a free me.com email address:
    "Setting > iCloud"
    or
"Setting > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > iCloud"
    3. After that you will have the opportunity to sync and backup your personal mail, contacts, calendars, reminders, notes etc. completely separated from your husbands account.
    4. But make sure to keep your husbands account for iTunes and app purchases:
"Settings > iTunes & App Stores"
I hope that answers your question and will help you.
