How do I get my iPhone to stop turning on cellular data for apps on its own?
I have tried resetting on the iphone and resetting all settings. Nothing seems to be working. So far the only improvement is that my iphone stopped turning on cellular data for other apps but now, interestingly, it's turning on cellular data for all apple designed apps,e.g. Pages, App Store, Itunes Store, Facetime, Contacts, Calendar, Mail etc. Everytime I try to turn them off, it doesn't work. Please Help!!
P.S. My phone is running ios7.
Follow these directions, but pay attention to comment 1 regarding drafts. Best instructions I've seen on how to set gmail up as IMAP.

I am based in the United Kingdom. The carrier is Orange.
I lose the signal inside buildings and outside of buildings. It happens at work and at home. It happens in Centarl London in the open air and inside. It happens in small towns.. It happens in the countryside. It happens in motor cars. It happens in airports. It happens when the battery is fully charged, when it is half charged and when it's low on charge. It happens using the phone, when reading messages and when using the internet.

OOkay people how do I get my iPhone to stop auto correcting to "ducking" ... You know what I'm trying to type there? Turning off auto correct doesn't work... It still auto corrects just that one word even though auto correct is disabeled. Apple seems determined to censor my freedom of speech but it's not right or funny. How can I make it stop?

No one is trying to censor you. Apple has no interest in what Anglo-Saxon words you chose to use. I can tell you, from personal experience, it does learn. I can tell you, it's a good thing I don't have reason to type the word "ducking" very much as it would be annoying to have to correct it every time. -
How can I get my iPhone 4 to update my updates from my app store of it keeps telling me error 3150 or it tell me to refresh the page after updates and the updates are still there asking me to update them again?
Make sure iTunes on the computer is logged into the account on the phone.
Plug the iPhone in.
In the popup window warning about wiping your phone, hit cancel.
In the left pane of iTunes, the phone icon should be there.
Right click on it, select transfer purchases.
Note: this will only transfer music bought from iTunes. Not mp3's from amazon or ripped from CD's. -

I understand that some of your applications are not appearing under Settings > Cellular on your iPhone so that you can restrict or allow use of cellular data. If you have some installed applications on your iPhone that are not showing here, the first troubleshooting step I would suggest would be to reset your iPhone. Please refer to the attached article for information on how to perform a reset.

I am new to using iphone 4. I am able to turn off cellular data for most of my apps. But unable to find an option to turn off celullar data for exchange emails.
Is this possible? please help.
For now I am using the fetch method instead of push.What's not there on the 4S is the ability to specifically disable 3G data. You can disable all cellular data. Turning off 3G did NOT turn off cellular data. It just shut off 3G. You would still be connected to the EDGE data network if present.

Under Settings Cellular "use cellular data for" apps are missing from Iphone 4
After updating to IOS 7, my wife's iPhone 4 under the "use cellular data for" only has Passbook and System Services. My son's iphone 4 and my iPhone 4s DO HAVE this option avl. and show all our Apps.

Is the comp a synced device to your apple ID and approved as an active device for this synchronization?
Just cloud the sync once, activate the comp to your apple I'd in iTunes, ensure all software is up to date, turn on home sharing between the devices and you can reinstall the apps from the apple id purchase history via download.
You basically cleaned out the canonical data apple uses to validate all that, which was backup data. Like iOS devices have the purchased option on the App Store now, syncing the devices via the home sharing and properly activating them will give your comp the purchased cloud and free up 10gs of space on the precious solid states smaller drives.

HT1688 iPhone 5S, Settings Cellular Use Cellular Data For Apps - Not Updating
I have iPhone 5S iOS 7.0.4 with AT&T Contractual Plan.
When I change any settings in Settings > Cellular > Use Cellular Data For to disable or enable apps to use cellular data. And, if I exit and enter again it shows the old settings.
Also Call Time > Current Period is not updating.
This is happening for last one week. I have also noticed heavy cellular data usage for last one week.
I have reset the phone as a new phone this it is solved, but if I restore from my backup, then the problem is returning again. Even I have deleted some apps, but it doesnot help.
Please help me to solve this.Call AT&T - it seems they are forcing their own settings on you.

How can this "feature" be disabled? It is an invasion of privacy and poses serious security concerns.Actually you agreed to let Apple track your location history. From the iTunes Terms and conditions, I offer this extract:
Apple and our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by Apple and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location-based products and services. For example, we may share geographic location with application providers when you opt in to their location services.
So not only does your iPhone and the unencrypted (by default) backup have this information, so does Apple and partners. It's not GPS accurate and not a result of using location services. It comes from cell tower and WiFi triangulation. You would have to go into Airplane mode to protect your location privacy. -

I put songs on my phone, through iTunes purchases I think, and then they go into the cloud so I have to re-download them, using my data, every time I want to hear them. I have no idea why they go away sometimes and not others either.
I hate the delay- I want my music to be there when I want it- and I don't want to use my data over and over for the same song.
