How do I get my iphone to use my new appleid once its been changed

I recently changed my appleid because of job change and so how to i get my iphone to change to the new ID? it seems like my option is to delete but I am concerned about loosing my current data.

Change it in "Settings > iCloud" for iCloud services like Mail, Contacts, Calendar (Press on "Delete Account" and then click on the button to keep the data on your device.)
If you wnt to change it also for new iTunes and app purchases then change it in "Seetings > iTunes & App Stores"

Did you purchase or download the apps with your old ID? Apps are tied to the ID that is was purchased from.
If it is a new app you bought with your new ID, you can go into settings - appstore- apple id and then log out.

It seems like you may need to turn off your iTunes in the Cloud features and download or sync the songs manually to your phone. Here is a link that can help you adjust those settings:

Help. My old @us.army.mil email address was terminated by the army. I used that address to register my first apple id account on my iPad. I can't remember my original Apple ID number and if I ask to reset my password, Apple sends the reset link to my old non-working email address. I have a new gmail address and a new Apple ID number associated with that address. How do I get my iPad to use my new gmail address and new apple ID number? Remember, I can't log out of my old account because I can't remember the password. Amd Apple will only reset the password by sending a link to my old, non functioning army email account. Keep in mind that with the iPhone, you can sync all iTunes content with only one computer. Trying to sync iTunes content with a second computer will result in iTunes erasing the content from the first computer. However, non-itunes content such as contacts, calendars, mail settings, notes, etc. (anything in the Info pane) can be synced from another computer.
If you have songs on a different computer, copy them to the computer you use to sync:

Not sure where you backup to.
ITunes keeps the latest backup only.
Icloud keeps the 3 last backup.
