Does this mean your contacts are not available with the Contacts app? When you open the Contacts app, select Groups at the top. What is available after selecting Groups?
And you are trying to open them in iCloud how? With a browser on your computer since there is no other way with an iPhone besides with the Contacts app?

The way you restore an iCloud backup is to go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Conent and Settings (which will erase the iPad), then go through the setup screens on the iPad and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. You will then sign into your iCoud account, agree to the terms and conditions, then choose the backup you want to restore from.
Be sure you iPad is connected to wifi and your charger when you restore the backup as it may take some time to finish.

iCloud only backs up the photos that are on your device when it is backed up. If you deleted the photos from your phone, then backed up, the backup will no longer include the photos you deleted. Also, photo stream only keeps your photos for 30 days. After that they are deleted from photo stream but not from any device that already has them. Also, if you deleted the photos from the My Photo Stream album on your phone, they are also deleted from your photo stream (as the prompt warns you when you do) and could not therefore later be recovered from photo stream.
If you still have a backup that was made while the photos were on your phone, you could restore to the backup to recover the photos. Otherwise they are lost.

Good luck. It took me weeks to fix this when I had to do it. Your old ID branches out in lots of places. You may have to delete app and get them again, at least that is what Apple told me. Plus, all of your settings on your iPad that required any ID, will have to be changed. My old ID kept showing up in different places for weeks. Changing it on Apple.com is just the beginning.

Well, this is a problem, because the only material you can transfer from your iPhone (using only Apple software) is material you purchased in the iTunes Store.
To do that, plug your iPhone into iTunes, then choose File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from iTunes' menu.
Generally speaking, you should restore your iTunes library from your computer's backup.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

For a customer I have to poll on a specific email-address on a mailserver until a mailmessage appears, read the attachment (.txt) and transform it to a destination-messagetype. For this purpose, I have used the XI-mailadapter (XIPAYLOAD) and the PayloadSwapBean. I now get the attachment-content in XI and can work with it. So far, so good...
Now the problem is: I need not only the attachment-content, but also the payload of the mail-xml (with data like sender, CC, subject, body, etc). When I use the PayloadSwapBean, I only get the content from the attachment and I do not get the payload-data. When I do NOT use the PayloadSwapBean, I only get the payload-data and not the attachment-content....
Is there a way to get both payload (of the email-message) AND attachment-content in 1 file, using this PayloadSwapBean?

This is not possible. You need a self-written adapter module to achieve this.

I'm helping a music group fix their CD information, which was incorrect in the Gracenote database. Gracenote made the corrections, but the iTunes store is not reflecting the changes. I verified the changes were made by inserting the CD on a PC, and, through the iTunes client, asking it to pull the track info from Gracenote. The info is correct.
However, if you use the iTunes client to go to the store, the info in the store does not match what was pulled when sticking the CD in the drive and querying Gracenote. Also, if you go to the CD URL via a web browser to preview or purchase a digital download, the iTunes store web site is still showing the wrong information.
How do I get the iTunes store (that is, Apple's server, not the iTunes client) to pull and use updated (correct) CD information from Gracenote?

The official Content Provider relationship with the Store depends how it was set up, and may be the group or their agent or a 3rd party such as TuneCore. They can go back through the same official channel that put the tracks in the Store in the first place.

I have recently upgraded to Mountain Lion and I want to use the airplay feature to stream web content to my AppleTV. I saw how to enable airplay in iTunes and did that. The icon was there and my AppleTV showed up in the list when I clicked it. It is my understanding that I need to have a recent version of hardware to make use of airplay. I have a Macbook Air, late 2010 version.
My AppleTV is on. I can stream to it with an iPad, so it is functioning. When I select content in iTunes, nothing happens. The video window appears and starts playing and... nothing. Ultimately I want to be able to stream from other apps like Safari. Any ideas?

The iCloud service is not meant for this. That's what iTunes Match is for, and there's a reason it costs extra. If anything, there may be a third-party app that offers the possibility.
Alternatively, you can use Google Music to store up to 20,000 songs online free of charge: https://play.google.com/music/
...but this doesn't offer the close integration with various iThings and software that iTunes Match offers, nor does it upgrade your existing collection where possible, nor does it clean up your library or song information like iTunes Match can. You can get some competant, if slow, apps to use Google Music on your iThings.
