How do I get my movies in and out of the iPad2?

Please help.
I know that the Ipad2 can take pictures and movies. I also know that you can get iPhoto and iMovie for the iPad.
I also know things can be sent to YouTube and Facebook.
But..
How do you get the movies and photos you shoot with a camcorder or still camera into the iPad2 so that you can work on them in iMovie?
And then...how do you get them from the iPad2 to a Mac so that you can make DVDs?
Also, if you complete a movie in iMovie for iPad2, can you import that finished movie and work on it some more with iMovie for Mac or FCPX?
It may be clear, but I am not finding it. Hopefuly their is an APP that will allow drag and drop.

Depending on the format of the video, you can use the camera connection kit and connect USB cable to your camera, if the iPad does not recoginize the video format, you will have to convert them and then transfer them using the SD card or USB stick. Then to get them off you can do so several ways, either iPhoto or iMovie on your Mac, yes you can edit the movie in FCP.
If you are on Windows you could use a service like Dropbox and upload them in app and they would get moved to the folder on your comoputer, this also works on a Mac the same way. I find Dropbox very resourceful and you can even upload them to your iPad like this also. Move them to the folder > open Dropbox > click your file > then choose "open in" which ever app on your iPad you want to open it in.

In iTunes turn on homesharing.
On your ATV turn on homesharing.
The ATV should then see your computer as long as you enter the same id on both machines.
Your content should then appear under the computer setting on the ATV, then watch away...

How can I get a stuck mini disk out of the slot?

I know that I am possibly the most stupid prson in existence however I inserted a mini disk into the slot of my 1 day old 1st ever Mac ( a macbook).
Needless to say from reading other posts here, and based on the fact that I cannot retrieve it I have discovered that this is a big no-no!
Is anybody able to bestow some sympathy on the village idiot, and offer some suggestions as to how I can retrieve this disk?

I have read that some people have been able to get those disks out by gently inserting a business card into the slot and pressing the eject button.
Do not put the business card in all the way. Hold onto it with your hand and see if you can wiggle it under the stuck CD.

I have rented and watched 4 movies which, though expired still appear in my video folder. I cannot watch them, but my ipad shows 4 videos in the "about" tab and shows several gigs of video used. How do I get rid of them and free up the memory?

My emails are appearing along the top of the page in the tool bar area? how do i get rid of this and back to the regular email page

I opened my Mozilla yesterday and noticed my email page format was different then after a second, I noticed all my emails were now appearing along the top of the page in the tool bar area below "Fine Edit View Go ...etc" I'm not sure what happened. PLEASE help me I'm sure it's probably an easy fix, however I don't know how to fix it :)~ Also they are oldest email first, and since I normally save them for 45 days before deleting, I cant seem to get to the most recent email first. Ugh.

This is what happens when you continually open messages in tabs but never close them. Pretty soon all you have are message tabs showing and you have pushed the Inbox off the screen.
Get in the habit of closing message tabs after you read them.
To get out of your situation now, right click one of the tabs and select Close Other Tabs. Then use the x to close the last one.

How to set a different smtp in and out on the same server

I got an xserve on 10.5.6 and the ethernet ports are connected to two differents networks. One is on the local network (192.168.0.5) and the other on a wan. The lan is on ADSL box that is also the router. I would like to receive my email from the adsl box (it work like this actualy - smtp in) but sent the mails from my user with the wan (smtp out). I did'nt find any setting on the admin server graphic interface and Apple confirms that it is not possible without modifing files with the terminal. (they did'nt give the solution:()
Is anyone can help me to make this configuration work.

Short answer: you can't - at least not directly.
What you're trying to do breaks the fundamental rules of IP routing - specifically you can only have one default route that's used for all non-local traffic. That route will either point out our ADSL link or your second WAN link. You cannot route by port or protocol.
Your best bet is to use an SMTP relay where you tell your server to relay all outgoing mail through an intermediate server (rather than directly to the destination domain). Then you can setup a static route to that relay over the second WAN link to override the default route.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can't, but you have a few alternatives.
Best option: If you made the movie on the DVD in iMovie (or even another editing application) and still have the project, go back to the project and export it for Apple TV (using the Apple TV preset)
Next best option: If you still have the original movie that you put on the DVD, open it in QuickTime and export it for Apple TV (using the Apple TV preset)
Worst option: Use something like Mpegstreamclip (Quicktime Mpeg2 playback component required) to convert the DVD to h264.

Did you do an erase and install of Mavericks? If not look in the HD/Library/Application Support folder for an iDVD folder. There should be a Themes folder in it. If it's not there look in your Home/Library/Applications Suport folder for the iDVD folder.
NOTE: In Mavericks, 10.9, the Home Library is invisible so go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring up this window:
Select Show Library Folder. Now you can check to see if the iDVD folder in there.
If you find the iDVD folder launch iDVD, go to its Advanced preference pane and point iDVD to the Themes folder:
If you can't find the Themes folder you'll need to reinstall iDVD from the source you installed it from originally, i.e. the disks that came with your Mac or an iLife 09 or 11 disk.
