How do I get my music off my original  iphone and onto my new computer?

I have the very first iphone and in it some really great music.  I would like to get that music off my old iphone and put into my iphone 5c or onto my new computer.  Any chances of this happening?

  • How do I get my library off of my flash drive onto my new computer?

I just got a new computer today, so this morning I made sure to put everything that has to do with itunes on my flash drive so I could transfer my library onto the new computer. I have tried following many steps on how to move a library from an old computer to a new one, but so far I have only recovered purchased songs. I have plugged in my flash drive into the new PC and I can see the itunes library file, but when I click it, nothing happens. I hhave installed itunes on the new PC and like I said only some of my songs are in it. When I plug my ipod nano into my new PC, I get a message asking if i want to scan and fix my ipod. I have hit "continue scanning", but if I do hit scan and fix, will that erase all the songs on my ipod? I really can't have that happen, so I'm trying to be very cautious on what I do. Also, I have my ipod plugged in and in itunes I hit the arrow next to my ipod and it shows the drop down menu including my music. All of the songs that are in my old library and currently on my ipod are there, but they're all grayed out. I've tried copying the music folder to my ipod and it says I don't have enough space, but like I said, I am not going to erase all of the songs on my ipod. If someone could please help me out I'd really appreciate it! By the way I have Windows 7.

This is how you should have done it. I don't know if you still have the files to do it this way:
iTunes: How to move [or copy] your music to a new computer [or another drive] - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527
Quick answer if you use iTunes default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.

  • How do i get my music off my ipod touch and on to my new itune account with out losing my music

how do i get my music off my ipod touch and on to my new itune account with out losing my music

Transfer the iTunes folder from your old computer to your new computer. It's in your My Music >> iTunes folder. You'll probably need an external hard drive to do this. Make sure you upgrade the old and the new computers to the latest iTunes before transferring your music to the new machines.

I Have now bought an ipod to use for my music as my phone'a storage was being filled by my music. How do I get the music off of my phone but keep it on my iTunes for my ipod and iPad?

iTunes should show you two copies of the file (track) one which is in the local music folder (on the laptop / pc) and one that is available from iCloud.

  • How do I get my photos from my old iphone 4 onto my new iphone 5c?

How do I get my photos from my old ipone 4 onto my new ipone 5c?

Do you still have the old iPhone? If so, one option would be to import the photos to a computer iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer and then sync them from the computer to the new phone iTunes: Syncing photos
That is a number of steps but one advantage of doing that is that you then have a copy on the computer where they are safe in the event of loss of the phone, hardware problem or other things that can happen to the phone.
The other option is by a backup and restore, assuming you still have the old phone or that you did a backup when you had it. A possible disadvantage is that the restore is complete -- i.e., it will overwrite anything you have already added to the new phone such as new photos. iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
A third option would be a 3rd party app installed on each the old and new phone; one example is http://www.photosync-app.com

  • How do I get this music off of my iPhone?

I keep trying and trying to delete all my music off my phone and it won't delete. When I go to General>Usage>Music and try to delete it from there, it doesn't delete. On iTunes, I have "manually manage music and videos selected" but that doesn't help. When I click "Music" under the name of my device, only 4 songs show up (all of which are greyed out) and I have hundreds. I don't want to delete the songs from my library just so they'll be off my phone. I want to keep the songs in my iTunes library, I just want them off my phone. I don't know how to get this music off and it's making me really angry. Please help!

Open itunes, connect iphone, select what you want to be on the iphone, sync

  • How do I get my music off a MAC formatted IPOD on a Windows Computer?

I have an old ipod nano and it was formated on an IMACm and has great music on it, but I have since switched over to Windows.  Is there a way to get my music off the ipod before reformatting the ipod for windows in which case I would lose all the music?
    Any Help greatly appreciated!!

If you purchased all of the songs through itunes store, please follow these steps:
    1. Open up Itunes and Click on Itunes Store
    2. Once you're in the Itunes Store look to right side of the screen and you should see the word "purchased". Click purchased and you'll be sent to a purchase screen.
    3. Click on "All Songs" and then it will show all the songs you've downloaded. From there you just hit the button that looks like a cloud with an arrow on it, and it will download all the songs all over again.
If you didn't purchase them through Itunes, then you'll have to download software that will strip the songs from your iPod. And here is a guide about how to transfer iPod music to computer on windows. Hope it helps. Feel free to email me if you need further help.

  • My old windows computer died, how do I get my music off of my iphone to my new computer

The hard drive in my old computer is totally fried, and my iphone is the only place my music is backed up. Is there a way to get my music from my iphone to my new computer?

Here is a great program I used to use called TouchCopy,
not only does it copy music, it copies videos, messages, books so on and so forth,
It does cost but if you just need it this one time to put your music back you can download the trial version for Windows! Here is the link:
