i bought plenty of apps in an old ipod touch and i lost it now that i have a new one i want to get all my old payed for apps back without having to repay for them how do i do that
If you created a backup, you can restore from that.
Launch iTunes. From the menu bar, click iTunes / Preferences then select the Devices tab.
If there's a backup available, you'll see it there.
And, you can see your Apps under Library on the left side of the iTunes window.
And go to the App Store on your iPod. Find a previously downloaded app. You should be able to re download without repurchasing.

All my financial apps require a "enter" key and a "." decibel key. The new keyboards for IOs8 only have a "delete" key and a blank key with no use.

Do you still have the old PC around? If so, you might be able to still copy the iTunes library from that PC over to the one.
Or is the music still on your Nano? If so, see this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your new PC and into iTunes.

Otherwise, you can redownload most iTunes purchases again at no cost using iCloud. If the music and content was imported from outside of iTunes you'll need to either re-rip the tracks into iTunes or redownload them using whatever utility or store you originally purchased them from.

If you updated from iOS 4 or iOS 5 to iOS 6 you have to download the YouTube app from the App store. With iOS 6 it no longer comes with the iOS.

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

I wouldn't have upgraded if I had the choice. I saw the new look months ago and hated it. I even emailed Apple back then, like they even read what customers want anyway! I started using my iPad this morning to find that several apps didn't work, including my mobile banking app. I hate the upgrade, but had no choice if I wanted to use the apps I use most. Apple is forcing everyone to "upgrade" to its tacky new look. I want detail and color on my iPad. The retina display does not make the new stick figure drawing that my 5 year old could do look any better. It's not a cleaner, more streamlined look. It's a cheap and tacky look!

On Mac 10.6.8, when I create a new window by hitting command-N or going to the file menu, or if another page creates a new window, the new window just appears instantaneously. However, after upgrading to Mac 10.9.2, new windows appear by an "expanding" animation, which takes slightly longer than the old "appearing" behavior. (Other apps on my Mac do not exhibit the "expanding" behavior, only firefox.)
Was this behavior intentional? How can I get the old behavior back?

Go to the mac system preferences and click on Doc. There is a Minimize window using.... select the animation there.

I downloaded the new version of itunes and when i plug my phone into the computer and try and do something in itunes it wont let me because my device is synced to another itunes library. how do i get my old itunes back? or how can i sync my stuff into the new itunes with out deleting anything off my phone? Copy the iTunes folder from the old computer to your new one.

PS CS6 has a different set of installed fonts than my old PS CS4. How do I get my old fonts back? Don't like most of the newer CS6 fonts. Dell Precision, Windows 7. Does PS use the fonts in the Windows directory or does it use its own? If so, where are they in the directory? All versions of Photoshop get their fonts from your OS. Just install any missing font wherever Windows keeps fonts.

How can I get my old Firefox back for my Windows 7. I'm not sure what version of Firefox I had before I downloaded this new one. With this new Firefox it comes with a Yahoo search bar which I cannot stand and a lot of other buttons I don't want. With my old version I had everything the way I wanted it but now it is all gone. Firefox is highly customizable and you may be able to customize it to meet your needs.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
