I uninstalled firefox by accident because I was on another user account on my laptop and I didn't realize that it would uninstall it from my programs. how do I get all my bookmarks back after reinstalling firefox from scratch?

You will have to do this the hard way.
Open the file browser / explorer on your computer.
Depending on your system, you need to find this folder;

The profile with the newest date should be the new profile. Look for the
profile with the next newest date. That is likely the one you are looking for.

How do I get my old mozilla window back after the upgrade automatically changed it without asking me ?

What I would like is the screen/startup window I had in the version previous to this new upgraded window. The window that comes up when mozilla is started. I didn't want to upgrade, didn't get asked by mozilla and I was perfectly happy with mozilla having that nice orange tab where I coul find everything I needed, Also like the bookmarks organizer better with the old version.

Firefox is highly customizable and you may be able to customize it to meet your needs.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

How can I get my old Firefox back for my Windows 7. I'm not sure what version of Firefox I had before I downloaded this new one. With this new Firefox it comes with a Yahoo search bar which I cannot stand and a lot of other buttons I don't want. With my old version I had everything the way I wanted it but now it is all gone. The Yahoo toolbar may have been added by an extension or other (security) software on your computer.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
