How do I get my old Ipod to sync with my new Apple ID?
Until recently, I have been using my Dad's apple ID for buying songs and using his library. Now I have my own Apple ID and spent loads of time transfering my music to this account. Now that I plug in my Pod Classic to sync it all up, it won't let me and I don't know why. Can you help?

How do I get my old iPod to update on my new MacPro?
I transferred all of my songs to iTunes from my old Mac to my brand new MacPro, plugged in the iPod, but it says it can't update because it is in use from another application.

How do I get an old iPod touch backup onto a new iPod touch?
My daughter dropped her iPod touch 32GB and shattered the screen. We replaced it today, and I am trying to restore the last iPod touch backup from my iTunes account. It is about one week old. When I first connected the NEW iPod touch it gave me an option to restore, but then prompted me that the IOS was out of date and I had to first update the IOS then restore. Exact message:
The backup of "NAME iPod" is cannot be restored to this iPod because the software on the iPod is too old. To restore this iPod from the backup, you must first set up the iPod as new and restore the software to its latest version.
So I chose NEW, and then it seemed to configure it. It is IOS 5.1.1. But all to the "base" system. How now do I restore the apps, music, etc from the last backup
I named this new iPod the exact same.To restore from backup see:

The backup does not included synced media like apps and music. you can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
The apps have to be in the iTunes library before you restore from backup otherwise there is no place for the app date to be restored to. -

If you copied everything from your old computer to your new one, as you should always do, then the content will be put right back when you sync.

When I open up my I Tunes account with my IPod plugged into the computer, I get the message" IPod is synced with another library" I only have one Library. None of the music or Apps that I have purchased shows up.
