Try tinyumbrella. Connect your iphone, click on it when it appears in the recovery devices window, and click "exit recovery".

As Ocean20 say, your only shot at recovering the photos and data is to restore from a backup (with iTunes if you took the backup with iTunes, through iCloud if you took the backup through iCloud).
The erasure is to prevent your data from falling into the hands of somebody who takes your phone and eventually guesses your password. If you feel that the inconvenience caused by this feature and your friend outweighs the trouble that somebody could cause if they got possession of your contacts and other data, you can change this behaviour.
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Erase Data > OFF -
I have recently got a new replacement iPhone 4. Since I got this I have found that my data allowance is getting used up during the night while my phone is charging on the bedside table. How an I find out what is causing this and stop it happening? Some nights the usage is 150 meg!
You can not access the backup directly.
Did you restore your replacement from this backup?
If so then you already have everything in the backup on your device.
If not, you can wipe the device and restore from this backup:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings

How do I transfer my bookmarks from one computer to another? Sounds like you want to set up Firefox Sync. This will allow you to keep all of your instances of Firefox synchronized. Just follow the steps in [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/what-firefox-sync?s=sync&r=0&as=s this article] and you'll be set.

I have 2 games Words with Friends and Cityville that receives a Pop-up message form iTunes... "Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications" and will not allow me to exit out of the app or play. How can I get this message to STOP?
Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. Any guidance is MUCH appreciated - Im not sure where to go from here.

While syncing my I phone it gets to step six "optimizing " and gets almost to the end and I get a message that itunes has stopped working and has to close. It get to like 1074 of 1138 items to optimize when iTunes quits. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Same problem here! Moreover, for some reason, the pictures in my iPhone 3GS somehow have been divided into 2 folders, Photos and Medialibrary. And when I open iPhone as a folder through the explorer I can see only the Photos folder, but cannot see the Medialibrary folder which stores the photos taken before updating/upgrading the iPhone and getting separated folders!!! What the hack with all of this?!!! When I connect iPhone to PC it automatically opens iTunes and starts syncronizing it, but at the process of OPTIMIZING the photos (and according to the number of photos it shows, I see that it tries to syncronize that invisible Medialibrary folder) the process suddenly stops and error message pops out Tried the sync test, tried the button DEBUG in that pop out message, but NOTHING HELPS!!! Also, when I open the Medialibrary in my iPhone, the screen get sblack all through scrolling it down, only the video clips are shown there... >.<

That's weird that these iphones are restored/activated through iTunes. I have a Apple so I have iTunes, yay!! I am guessing that the link that you gave me will tell how to put this iphone into Recovery mode? Now, this old iphone would of been activated on his laptop, which is with him and he is out of state. I have a new Apple, his new iphone would of been activated on our new Apple computer because he was here for Christmas and he didn't bring his laptop with him, or did he bring it with him, I don't remember now.... Now the question is, will I be able to restore his old iphone on my new computer seeing it would of activated on his laptop which is with him out of state. It sounds like the proximity sensor is acting up. To test it, make a phone call and use your hand to cover the top 1"-1 1/2" of the screen (where the sensor is located). The screen should blank out, if it doesn't, you need to make an appointment with an Apple Store or call Apple to get it repaired/replaced. If it does blank, check how you are holding the phone to your ear, you may not be holding it in a way that the sensor can tell it's at your ear.

If it says your billing info is wrong that means that your credit card issuer is refusing to approve your account. You will have to solve the problem with your bank or credit card company.

How do I turn off the feature that allows the duplication of App downloads to more than one phone? As in my wife downloads an app and I get a dulpicate download on my phone.
To disable that feature it will depend on whether or not you sync everything in the cloud using Apple's iCloud, OR if you both use the same desktop/laptop computer with iTunes. I spilled water on my laptop and my "i", "j" and "k" letters don't work on my laptop. However my main problem is that my password contains an "i" so i am locked out of my computer. Any ideas how I can get around the password and login. I tried the method where you go into single user mode and type in commands, however that method uses some of the letters that are not working on my laptop.
You didn't mention which version of OS X your running but there are password reset utilities provided OS X: Changing or resetting an account password (Snow Leopard and earlier) - Apple Support or OS X: Changing or resetting an account password - Apple Support
Alternately you can use an external keyboard to log in and change the password. Make a backup if you don't have one, it's likely that your problems aren't over. If that water continues to migrate downward and fries the logic board your macbook will be toast. -
I've tried downloading iOS5 several times and after an hour each time I get a message that says my network connection has timed out. But I can't find any information about "timing out" or how to correct the situation. Any help?

I was trying to get the iOS 8.2 on my iPhone 5 but then it stopped and my phone is now on recovery mode I have pictures I need and they did not all fit on iCloud how can I use the phone again with ALL my pictures and videos without restoring it?
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -

I Updated my iPhone 5s and my sons iphone 5 to the IOS8 and after we did that we started getting each others text messages which I thjnk I fixed but we are still getting each others pictures, I want to keep him on my Apple ID I just don't want to share pictures and text messages. before the update we didn't have this issue but now we do please help fix this situation!

The question I have is how are using your Apple ID on both of the iPhones. If it is just for purchases, then you can just have that Apple ID for purchases and then have separate accounts for iCloud to sync that data. Check out the article below for more information.
