Without knowing which phone you have, they all essentially behave the same way when connected to the PC by USB. The phone will be recognized by windows as an external drive. If you get the autoplay windows simply click the drive icon to open it. You can then navigate to the folder with the photos and then just copy them over to the PC hard drive. For instructions more specific to your phone you may want to go to your phone provider's website.

Seems I have a iClould account but not sure how I got it or how to access it on my iPad. Any help in figuring this out would be appreciated.

Seems I have a iCloud account on my iPad but not sure how I got it as I do not remember signing up for this feature. I got an e mail message saying I was running out for space on my iCloud and was given directions on how to find it on my iPad. I followed the directions but there was no iClound anywhere in my iPad settings.

If your iPad is running iOS 5 or higher, iCloud would be listed in Settings. If you are signed into an iCloud account your iCloud ID would be listed in Settings>iCloud.

It keeps changing the browser window, some programs in one window, others in another. How do I get everything back on the same window? I want this disabled but not sure how to do it, or how I even got it started.

The Get Info. fields show up gray if the files is locked and iTunes knows it can't edit the file. Make sure the files are not marked as read only and, if necessary grant both your account and system full access to all files and subfolders of your media folder.
You can set Part of a Compilation for multiple tracks from the Options tab of Get Info.

Is there a training program for iCloud and how to use it effectively. I have downloaded the booklet but not sure how I access files, photos saved on iCloud.

I am trying to understand cloud but have very little information for a non technical person. Is there any product that I can access that will provide me with step by step details on how to access things stored in Icloud. I have recenly lost all my data on my external hard drive and thought that I could restore through icloud.

It doesn't matter whick account you use to download the app.
You have to sign into the app (or iCloud.com from a web browser on your computer) with his Apple ID & password.
Find My iPhone will only work if it was enabled in the iCloud settings on the device and it was powered on with a connection to the internet

I upgraded to mountain lion and now I don't have iPhoto how do I get my pictures off of my phone?

I recently upgraded to mounntain lion, since then I noticed there isn't an iPhoto. Before mountain lion if I plugged in my phone or camera into my computer I could view/download the photos to iPhoto. How do I get my pictures off of my phone now?

Reinstall it with DVD that came with your computer.

Geez, maybe people over 60 shouldn't have iPhones, iTunes just bafles me.

If I do a restore as I have when previously from one iphone to another it has shown (in settings, usage) the cumulative usage from previous phones so all the hours of calls on all previous iphones will be displayed even though its brand new. Anyone know how I can get my notes (from standard iphone notes app) to my new iphone 4s without restoring from previous iphone 4. Thanks for any help offered.

First, if you haven't updated to iTunes 10.5, please update now as you will need it for the iPhone 4S and iOS 5.
Once you're done installing iTunes 10.5, open it. Connect your iPhone to iTunes using the USB cable. Once your iPhone pops up right click on it. For example: an iPhone will appear and it will say "Ryan's iPhone."
Right click on it and select "Backup" from the dropdown menu. It will start backing up. This should backup your notes.
Please tell me if you have any problems with backing up.
Once you backup and get your iPhone 4S, you must follow these steps. If you don't follow these steps, you will not be able to get your notes on your new iPhone 4S.
Open up iTunes again then right click on your device (iPhone 4S). Once you do you will see a dropdown menu. It will say "Restore from Backup..." Select this and it'll ask for a backup, select it from the dropdown menu. For example "Ryan's iPhone - October 12, 2011." Pick that and it will restore to your backup. Do this when you get your iPhone 4S so you will not lose anything. Even though you're restoring, you're getting back, since you're getting the previous settings, notes, contacts, mail and other settings from your old iPhone. You'll still have Siri though! So, restore when you first get it. Also frequently backup your device, as it will be worth it. You can restore from a backup if something goes wrong or save your data for a future update.
Once you do that, you should have your notes on your new iPhone 4S and iOS 5.

You can use one account with iTunes on your Mac, and different account(s) with the Mac App Store (for buying/downloads apps or OS updates for your Mac), iCloud (System Preferences > iCloud) and Messages (Messages > Preferences, or command-comma)
