How do I get my right click on mouse to copy and paste?

As long as the right-click displays the dropdown menu, then it is enabled and you just have to select "copy" or "paste".
I find the quickest way to copy/paste is to use the keyboard shut-cut of, command C and command V. Quick and easy and less moving of the mouse.

Using firefox 37.0.1 windows 7. open a tab (right click) it's blank. copy and paste and go the url from the tab into a new private window and it works.

Opening a tab (right click on a url) and I get an empty/blank window.
If I copy the url from the emty/blank tab and then open a new private browsing window and do a paste and go, everything works.

How can I get chekbox or button to function as copy and pasting the information on acrobat?

I need to have a checkbox or a button where information will be copied from another filled out text. For example, when you purchase something online, there is a box where you can click if you billing address is the same as shipping address. When you click on the box, the whole entire information under shipping address gets copied on billing address.
Can somebody please help me how I can do this function on adobe acrobat? I am using windows by the way.

• Did You try more than one stand alone DVD-player ?
• When You burned Your DVD - Did the internal Hard disk have more than 25Gb free space
iDVD and Mac OS Can't address any other for it's temp files - pretty important.
If so I would.
*Not knowing the origin to Your problem - General approach when in trouble is as follows:*
• Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk if it is less than 10Gb should rather have 25Gb
• Hard disk is untidy: Repair Permissions, Repair Hard disk (Apple Disc Util tool)
• Delete iDVD pref file - *or rather start a new user/account* - log into this and re-try
• Program miss-match: iDVD 5.0.2, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK - DON’T work under Leopard
• Program miss-match: iDVD 6.0.4, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
• Program miss-match: iDVD’08 v. 7.0.1, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
• iDVD (08) v7 Locate theme folder. Move out iDVD1, iDVD 2 and eventually iDVD4 folders to desktop - re-try
• Try a Cleaning CD/DVD that cleans the laser lens on the DVD burner/player
iDVD 6.0.4 and iDVD 7.0.1 are compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
iDVD pref file resides: Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences and is named:
com.apple.iDVD.plist
While iDVD is NOT RUNNING - move this file out to desk-top.
Now restart iDVD.
Last resort: from Craig: Solved the problem!! Finally!!
I deleted every iDVD application and folder from my boot drive,
emptied the trash and then installed iDVD 08 using the customize option
and I am up and running.

How can I get Firefox to include the http when copying and pasting from the address bar?

I know you can use "browser.urlbar.trimURLs" in about:config to re-enable the display of "http://" on URLs in the address bar, but I think there's an actual bug with hiding them in the address bar that should be corrected:
When I click and drag in the address bar to select part of an address, including the beginning of the address, then use CTRL+C to copy it, and CTRL+V to paste it into something else, the pasted URL does not include "http://"; this is often inconvenient and will break in certain forms and so on.
In Chrome--where I guess the http-hiding feature was copied from--if you click and drag to select part of the URL including the beginning, then copy, when you paste, the "http://," hidden in their address bar, *is* included. That's how it *should* work. Firefox's implementation is incomplete and frustrating.

This is a known problem and should be fixed in Firefox 8.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

Problem translating click/highlight boxes when copy and pasting slides from another project

I'm baffled by this problem as it doesn't seem to make sense. I opened up a new project to record a simulation in and when I was done, I copy and pasted all the slides into the appropriate section in my "Master Project" if you will. After the paste, I noticed that all the clickboxes and highlight boxes I had taken the time to carefully resize were all out of wack in terms of position. Here's the kicker, I opened up a blank project and copy/pasted the same slides...this time the click and highlight boxes were in the correct position. Any ideas?

Oh, 'in terms of position'... I see...
Is the one project larger than the other? For example, the original perhaps at 800x600 and the new at 850x650?
Positioning may then be off relatively....
Pick a couple sample elements and note their x/y positions from the Properties panel in the first project (under 'Transform' in CP 5.5).
After pasting into the new, note those same x/y positions.
Is there a noticable factor?
If this is the issue, be sure the sizes are the same, do the paste, then expand the project later (and maybe everything will retain its anchors?)
I've not seen this occur in newer versions of CP.
You could try checking the 'Constrain Proportions' option in the properties of the original, just in case that helps 'constrain the position' too...total guess...

How can i get a right-click click box to work?

I am using Captivate 7 and to accurately mimic the software I have inserted multiple right-click click boxes but without success. After reading previous posts, I have tried the following:
- publishing to SWF and HTML5
- publishing to the default folder and launching the HTML from there (i can see .css and .js files in the folder as well)
- unchecking "Enable Accessibility" in Publish Settings
I'm very new to Captivate so any help or advice you can give on this would be great.

Not having the publish folder location set up as a trusted location can also cause right click to fail.

How do I preserve a website's fonts when I copy and paste from Firefox into Word?

I often paste copy from websites when I am researching. In Safari, the fonts and font sizes of the copy are preserved, but when I do it in Firefox, they are changed to the same size of Verdana. I prefer the fonts to be retained from the websites, but I can't get Firefox to do this.

If you drag a link or favicon on the left end of the location bar onto the desktop to create an internet shortcut then that shortcut gets the icon of the default browser. 
If you want a different icon (favicon) then you have to assign that icon yourself to the desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties). 
You can usually get the favicon if you append "favicon.ico" to the main domain of a website (e.g. http://www.mozilla.com/favicon.ico ) to display the favicon in a tab and save that image to a folder or see if you can find it in "Tools > Page Info > Media".

How do I get the right-click-on-tab - "Bookmark all tabs" to put the bookmarks in a folder of my choosing without creating a subdirectory named "[Folder Name]

Every time I create a new folder, say on the bookmarks toolbar, like "REOPEN 6-13-14" and use the "Bookmark all Tabs" function to create bookmarks to reopen later, it creates a sub directory in the new folder called [Folder Name]. If I have 4 windows open with multiple tabs and do this, it creates 4 separate [Folder Name] folders in the "REOPEN...." folder. Really want to just add all bookmarks into one big folder to reopen later.

If you use "Bookmarks All Tabs" then Firefox will always create a new folder with the name that you specify in the location that you specify.
If you do not change the default name then it keeps [Folder Name] for its name.
This also happens if there is already a folder with the same name and you thus get multiple folders with the same name.
