How do I get my "save and quit" back after updating to the latest version of Firefox on a PC?
How do I get my "save and quit" back I do not like having to close all my tabs and loose all that every time I close out of firefox. When I got the latest version of firefox I lost the ability for firefox to save my tabs when I close out of it. I have to go through the process of opening all my tabs and refinding the sites all over again each time I load up firefox. I can not find the place to change the settings to being back the way they were before firefox got the latest version. I want my "save and quit" back.
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.<br />
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.<br />
Another possibility is to use:

The page load progress bar that was on the lower right of the window is no longer there. After updating to the latest version of Firefox on my Mac there is no progress bar for the page load. I really miss this feature and can't seem to find a way to obtain it. The tab has a circular progress wheel but this is useless for determining a stuck or slow loading page.

In the past, when I tried to bookmark a Web page, I had the option of choosing where I wanted the bookmark stored. If I selected "Choose," I would be presented with a list of all my folders. Not any more! Now, if I select "Choose," I am presented with only three options: "Bookmarks Toolbar," "Bookmarks Menu," and "Unsorted Bookmarks."
Firefox continues to become increasingly difficult to use, and appears to be less stable. I fell that I am being forced to migrate to Google Chrome. What is going on?
BTW, Firefox prevented support.mozilla.org from asking me to install software on my computer, so I was not able to automatically add troubleshooting information.

I have observed that, while the Mozilla Foundation focuses on trivialities like which search engine should be the default, the Firefox application becomes buggier and buggier. Most of my family has switched to Chrome, and I will be following shortly. Firefox used to be a great program. Not any more. Getting assistance with a problem has also become very difficult.

I currently have iPhoto 8.1.2 on my macbook pro and am trying to update to the latest version. I have had to work backward, but I can only get back to 9.1, which will not install because it says I need at least 9.0 to install it. Is 9.0 available? Will I need to go back even further? Thanks
Upgrading from iPhoto 8 to iPhoto 9 requires a purchase. There are two ways to get to iPhoto 9:
1 - purchase a copy of the iLife 11 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com or eBay.com.
2 - if your MBP meets the requirements upgrade you system for free to Mavericks. Then you can purchase the latest iPhoto version, 9.5.1, from the App Store.

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

My Iphone 4 crahsed a few months ago when I tried to update and i have used Itunes already and it updated to the latest version of itunes but it says there is an erro and cannot be restored, I'm not sure why it is saying that, can I get some help?

I have updated to the latest version of Fire Fox on my computer. I have Firefox set as the home page whenever I'm on the Internet. Right on the homepage is an "urgent" message stating that I am not using the latest version of Fire Fox. I most assuredly do have the latest version of Fire Fox downloaded and installed into my computer.

I downloaded the new itunes. So, i plugged in my 5th generation ipod and when i plugged it in, it asked me if i want to set it as new ipod or back up from the 2nd generation ipod touch that i plugged in before, i accidently clicked on the back up from before so it when its done, it looked like my 2nd gen. ipod and i dont like it. All my photos and videos from 5th gen. Ipod were all gone and there are some pictures that i really need as soon as possible. Is there a way i can i can get those photos and videos back? I really need them. :(

I cannot sign on to sync to get my passwords and bookmarks back after update of FF... Please help
A few weeks ago my FF browser updated to 29.0.1 and since then I can no longer access my saved password file or bookmarks. This is extremely frustrating and I have tried everything I could figure out to try, even used my back - up to reload from a previous date with no luck. Then FF reloaded the new version again. Here is my problem. I have other devices, (Smartphone, Android tablet) that both use FF mobile on them and they have my bookmarks still. I think if I could retrieve my sync account, I could get this all back, only problem is, I have not had to use that password in years along with changing my ISP a few years back, so it does not even recognize my e-mail address. FF apparently has no phone support or at least I cannot find it and I would like to straighten this out with them. I tried reaching them on Facebook with no reply. I just don't know what to do any more and need those passwords and bookmarks ......

I clicked on "update all" on my apps and all updated but my TRX FORCE App. it kept asking me to retry even after I connected to WIFI and downloaded/updated to the latest itunes. Am I missing something else? This was an expensive app that I use everyday for my line of work. ??

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I have been using firefox for years. I downloaded the latest version and at the conclusion of the down load I was refussed access to the internet. Something about Proxy???? I checked my firewalls and security and they said that mozilla was allowed but everytime I attempt to gain access I am refused. I cant access the internet and I cant download another program to access the internet. I uninstalled Firefox and attempted to reinstall but after uninstalling Firefox I have no means to reinstall because there are no traces of it on my computer and I no longer have access to the internet. I have windows 7 and after updating Itunes to the latest version, I get this error message...
The procedure entry point uloc_getLocateeForLCID_4_0 could not be located in the dynamic link library icuuc40.dll.
I have tried repairing and reinstalling even deledted Itunes and did a re-install but keep getting the same error message.
what can I do to fix this error?Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

check if you have read & write permissions for your music folder. in the finder, right-click on it and get info. unlock the little padlock (you may have to enter your admin password) and change the permission settings if necessary. next, click on the little gear-shaped icon and apply to enclosed items like so
the important part is to apply to enclosed items !
