How do i get my videos/ music to start playing again in itunes?
I just downloaded some videos from icloud but now i cannot watch any of the videos or listen to any music in my library, when i select a song or video to play, itunes just scrolls down all the songs/videos without playing them.
Can you repair your QuickTime?
START > CONTROL PANEL > PROGRAMS N FEATURES > highlight QuickTime and click REPAIR button.

I had to get my hard drive replaced from Apple, I lost all of my music obviously. My question is, how can I get all my music off of my iPhone onto iTunes? Since it's a new hard drive, the iPhone isn't recognizing this as it's home computer.
You will need to use third-party software to transfer music from your phone to the iTunes Library. I recommend Phone to Mac - Pod to Mac | Macroplant.com.

How do I get the videos on msnbc to play on IPad ?
How do I get the videos on msnbc to play. I get a message that says video will play not but sometime the audio will play . I thinking that I am overlooking something in the settings.
I have had the videos working in the past, and I am not trying to run flash. Problem surface when I rebooted the iPad.Balance? Seriously? No serious person can say that hardcore lefties like Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Larry O'Donnel and Rev. Al are balanced. They are opinion show masquerading as news programs. The public isn't fooled, and MSNBC's rating show it.
Anyway, the Fox News app is very good and always works with video, audio, and slide shows. Worth a look if you are seeking a mulitmedia news app. -
HT1338 How do i get back my music that i have bought from itunes which i deleted by mistake thanks
how do i get back my music which i deleted by mistake which i bought from i tunes store
Well if it has a non-Filevaulted hard drive, you need to stop using the computer and either take it to a local PC/Mac repair shop that does data recovery or do it yourself with a spare blank powered external boot drive and $100 software that will read the deleted (but not yet overwritten) files.
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
Once you have the files recovered, back your data up, especially burning data DVD's in iTunes.

New computer, how do i get all the music from old computer into new itunes?

Easiest way is to copy the entire iTunes folder onto an external hard drive and then copy it onto the new computer. Google your query. Lots of step by step instructions out there

I have an iPad that is loaded with music that I actually burned the cd's into iTunes on a computer at work a couple of years ago. I switched jobs some time ago so I no longer have access to that computer. Is there anyway to get that music into my iTunes library on my home computer so that I can download it onto my new iPad or other iOS devices? Computer stuff is NOT my forte.
See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

How do I get embedded videos in Keynote to play on iPad Keynote?
I've created a presentation with Quicktime video clip on my iMac desktop and imported it for use on my iPad. This is done through iTunes and has worked before, but the message shows that the media did not transfer. When trying to show it from Keynote on the iPad, it won't work. I'm wondering whether finally connecting ot the prject would work, but that doesn't seem logical. Any tips will be of help.
If you have a 6G Nano, then no, it does not support video playback.

How can I get my home button to start working again?
I got the Ipod 4 when it first came out. Shortly after i had gotten it the button had stopped working on it, so I had set up the home button that you have on the screen. Is there any way that I can fix it?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

How do I get all the music on my IMAC in one ITUNES folder? We have one IMAC, with 3 sign ons for me and my 2 teens. When you add a song under one of the sign ons it doesn't add it to all 3 libraries. Before I updated to LION, We had one main library with all the songs we bought, imported from cd's etc. Then any of the three of us could add it to our own IPOD instead of buying the song agin. It is one house, one IMAC. It was working fine under Leopard.
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

How do I get home video clips from iMovie Mac to iMovie iPad? Surely there is some degree of cross-compatibility? I have a load of clips in iMovie on my MBP that I wanna download to my iPad2 so that I can edit movies on the move. Any ideas? (The clips are in a .mov format, they have been imported / converted into this format in iMovie, original files were from a JVC camcorder in some other strange format.)
I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!" -
My hard drived crashed in my HP Pavilion desktop and I have installed a new one. I have Windows 2007. My Itunes library is gone. How can I get all the music that I loaded onto my iPod from my own CD's back into an Itunes library?
The loading of audio files to iPod is designed to go one way only: computer to iPod. There are some third-party applications available which will rescue an audio library and write the files back to a PC HDD. The playlists might not copy, nor the album art work, nor videos but you might be able to recover all audio files. Some apps are open source and available for free download, for example: Senuti, Onyx. There are others which are Windows-based; do a Google search to find out.

how do I get the downloaded music on my iphone to my new home pc and itunes, it took the info from the 1st device but not the 2nd
the appletv will not display your movies in folders.
you could change the tags in itunes to include the genre in the "show" field in the "video" tab. this would replicate the view you want, but you will need to tag all your movies to do this.
