much easier on a mac, but open my computer--> whereever your ipold is mounted, and there should be a some folders, and you should be able to find a note folder, which you can drag certain .txt documents into that can be read.
also there are programs taht can help you sync this a good website is versiontracker.com
try searching for something like ipod note

If you have a passcode to the screen lock that you've forgotten, restore the iPod from the computer to which the iPod is synced. For information and instructions, see:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
If that will not work, you'll need to put the iPod into Recovery Mode and then try the Restore again:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If that still doesn't work, as a last resort try DFU mode:

  • How do I get back into my ipod without resetting it? Its disabled and says I have to connect to itunes

How do I get back into my ipod witout reseting it? It says I have to connect to itunes becuase its disabled.

Restore.  Note that it could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.  You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without be charged again.  Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

  • How do i put notes into my ipod

i need to put notes in the ipod because i loose sometimes notes at home . how do i put notes in ipod

To put notes on to your iPod, make sure you set your iPod to manually managing your music and video. Afterwards, you can use Windows Explorer to access it, just find your iPod in the devices, double-click and there should be a folder called "Notes". The only files it allows are .txt. On your iPod, the notes folder can be accessed from Main Menu > Extras > Notes. Hope that helps.

  • How do I get audiobooks into my iPod?

Just purchased an audiobook through iTunes with the full expectation that it would appear in the Audiobook section of both iTunes and my iPod.
The purchase shows in iTunes fine, and has synched across to the iPod and shows in the Music section, but it does not show in Audiobooks as I would have expected.
    Any ideas?

Firstly, remove the audiobook from the itunes library. If it asks you to send files to recycle bin or keep files, "keep files".
Check the actual audio file that has downloaded to your computers hard drive.
(On a windows OS, the file downloads to the C:/Documents & Settings/your user name/My Documents/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music folder)
Show file extensions once in this folder by selecting Tools from the top drop down list, then folder options, go to the view tab and check "Show extensions for known file types")
The correct 3 letter extension for an audiobook should be .m4b
If the audiobook file shows .mp3 or other, change the extension by right-clicking the file name and choose rename. Delete the last 3 letters and replace with .m4b
Now, re-add the file to the itunes library by choosing File and then Add File to library within iTunes. After the file has been added, re-sync your ipod. The audiobook should now show under "Audiobooks" on the ipod itself.
If that does not take care of it, try deleting the audiobook from the ipod completely, and then re-syncing the ipod with the re-named file, as shown above.
