How do I get numbers spreadsheets to open at the last entry?

I work with Numbers spreadsheets often and find it very frustrating that on opening a document it opens at the top rather than at the last place of entry. My frustration is that some of the spreadsheets I work with are fairly long and require me to then scroll down a long way to pick up the spot I want to work in. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in advance

Fixed in the latest update (Numbers 3.0.1)
Numbers > Preferences > General > Default Zoom:
And it sticks with a document after Save . Reopen shows the Saved view.

With OS X Mavericks and Safari 7, I could have multiple tabs open with active pages and click the 'X' to close the window and then reopen later and all tabs/pages would still be there. How do I get IE 11 to open in the same spot on my task bar. i.e. IE 11 is on my task bar. When I open it, it opens in a new place on the end of the task bar. Microsoft Outlook, Windows Explorer, Quicken, Adobe, etc,, all on the task bar open
right at there location on the task bar; not in a new place at the end of the task bar.
How do I get IE 11, Windows 7, 64 bit to open at the same place as the IE icon???

Seems a strange issue, How about un-pin IE from the taskbar, then re-pin it to the taskbar for a test?
If doesn't work, I suggest you turn off IE 11 in "Turn Windows Features on or off", reboot PC, then re-turn on, check the result again.

How do I get App Tabs to open on the bookmarked location rather than the last visited one?

For example, I have YouTube as an App Tab. Every time I open firefox the last think I was watching on YouTube starts playing again. I would really like to set it so the App Tabs open on whatever page I originally set them for.

Just make sure that you open any new links in a new tab and not in the App tab. 
There are tab related extensions that can protect or lock tabs to prevent them from getting changed, but opening a link in a new tab with a middle-click or Ctrl + left-click isn't that much extra effort.

How do I get pop-ups to open in the same screen Firefox is on?

I have 3 monitors at work for the 10-15 programs/windows I need open all day. The problem is that my normal work requires a pop-up from our company's ticketing system, hosted on a website. That pop-up always occurs on the upper left-hand corner of the main display while Firefox is open on the second display. ***I'd like it to open in front of the current Firefox window*** instead of on a completely different display. Before you say "Move Firefox to the main display", I'd like to add that I'm using Citrix for multiple other programs and it has the same annoying habit. I can't have them both on the same display since I need to see them both at once. I'm also trying to find a solution for Citrix doing this. Whichever app gets fixed first gets a home on the second display.

How do I get new tabs to open at the end of the tab bar rather than next to the tab i am working on?

Im running firefox 3.6.12 on a pretty dated computer. Im using Windows XP Home Edition SP3
On previous FireFox editions, opening new tabs from pages Im working on, used to appear at the end of the list of tabs. Now when I open it, it appears right next to me.
Is there a way of altering this setting? I often open multiple tabs from the same page by clicking a link with the mouse wheel and I like to work through them in the order I clicked them. This is usualy for comparing things like holidays, car insurance etc

How can I get my Report to open on the fist tab always when file opened

I have one report with mutiples tabs, however I would like my file SWF/PDF to always open on the fist tab. Any ideas?

I believe the SWF will open to whichever tab you had active at the time you exported the dashboard. So if you want your SWF to always open to the first tab, just make sure that the first tab is the active tab when you export your dashboard to a SWF.

How do I get Numbers Spreadsheet to synch between Macs on iCloud?

I have a family budget created on Numbers. It is mostly stored on the home iMac but I look at it or change it from my MBP on occassion. I have been doing this via share screen, but am now trying to set it up on iCloud so I change it on one mac and it shows up on the other one in the updated version. I have put the document on iCloud, but if I change it on one Mac, it doesn't change the iCloud version, and the one on the other Mac remains unchanged. I thought this was supposed to happen automatically. I am using Numbers v2.2. Am I able to do what I want as described? If so, what am I doing wrong?

Renee Notes from the iPhone absolutely do sync with the iPad. The problem is that Notes is probably configured to use a gmail (or other) account for Notes by default.
When you open Notes in the iphone there is an 'Accounts' button. Tap it and see where it takes you.
I see 3 entries on my wife's iphone. "All Notes", "GMail" and "iCloud".
Hit the "Home" button and go to "Settings" -> "Notes" -> "Default Account"
You should see the option for "iCloud" there. Select it and any new notes will be created in the iCloud account and therefore sync to the iPad.
I only found all this out while trying to see why my wife's iphone wasn't syncing back to the iPad myself. So i thought I'd help a fellow in need :-) Hope this helps.

How do I get multiple files to open in the same alpha-numeric sort order in which they are displayed in Finder?

If I drag a bunch of files to, e.g., Adobe Photoshop they seem to open in strange orders. This makes automating any sort of editing workflow next to impossible. Is there some way to get programs to open files in the same order in which I see them? This is the default behaviour in Windows and it's really helpful when you have hundreds of files (or even just a few) that need to be processed in a certain order. What's likely happened is that when you transferred the video to the new machine they lost their dates.
Photos use the Exif metadata to record the date and time of the shot. This is quite different from the date and time of the file, which can change as the file is copied from place to place. Video doesn't have Exif, and so iPhoto uses the file date, and that's changed.
Simply, there's no absoultely reliable way to date video.
Try assign dates with the Batch Change command under the Photos menu.

Well, I tried it with your post, Klaus, and it seemed to work correctly. Maybe it's just me. When I see an invitation in the email to click on a link to REPLY to a message, I don't click on it, because I don't want to reply to that message. I just want to read it. I might THEN want to reply to it but I also might not. Maybe I'm just stupid that way.
In future, I'll pretend to myself that I actually want to REPLY to every post for which I receive a notification.
But each time I do that, I'll think about the cutlery drawer in the kitchen at Cupertino, and I'll wonder if all the knives in there are perfectly sharp.
