How do I get off this train???

I cannot find an easy way to cancel my CreatePDF subscription.  Only contact that I saw initially was via Chat and after 30 minutes of going around in circles, I'm told that my account has already been deactivated.  Of, course, my credit card is still being charged and I can login to and use the account.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry for the problems you've been having. I show in my system that your CreatePDF Monthly subscription which is associated with your "[email protected]" Adobe ID (the same email you used to post to this forum) was cancelled today 3/22.
If you log into the CreatePDF service, you should see that your service is now at the Free level (you will see an Upgrade message at the bottom of the screen and in the upper right Account menu.)
Let us know if you have additional questions or issues.

    I've been using Adobe products since 1990. I've written books on Photoshop and Pagemaker, and lobbied (successfully) at the university where I taught to replace Quark with Indesign. I've pioneered Adobe Acrobat 3 for newspaper prepress.
    But this is the last straw.
    Please, someone tell me, how do I get off this damned ride???

    I don't want to phone because it will cost me a fortune.
    I don't want to 'chat' because I'm busy and can't afford the time right now.
    I just want a BUTTON to click to stop Adobe debiting my credit card.
    Just like I wanted to permanently rid myself of the Application Frame, but it kept coming back in all apps after an update. Just like I wanted to permanently rid myself of the welcome screens but they kept coming back. Just like I want my apps - especially dreamweaver - to work, instead of crashing daily. I guess I'm spoiled; I work on a Mac because I like things to work.
    24 years of Adobe and you've finally managed to piss me off completely!

    I have changed and saved my settings several times and still continue to get emails.  Where do I go to stop this.

    From your profile page, click Edit Preferences and on the next page, click the Email Notification Preferences tab and select No for either all the options or the desired ones.

    You get off this forum's list by clicking on the envelope icon on the right.
    Otherwise, use the 'Your Stuff' link upper right... Preferences/Email notification preferences.
    Still no joy, each email you receive should have a link to do same as well.

    seems the problem was not with Firefox itself. Rather it seemed to have been an ad-blocker program called "WebMonitor" . i began by deleting Firefox and then opened Explorer (which i seldom do) and the same thing began to happen with MSN. So i
    began deleting anti-virus programs till i came to the above mentioned freeware ad blocker "WebMonitor". it is a shame because i uised to have a program that blocked all ads on a web site which was such a relief to me.

    I have been dealing with this problem since upgrading to ios 6.  I have an old ipod touch that is still running ios 5.? that backs up daily with no problem whatsoever.  I have attemped every solution posted on these help boards (i.e. deleting accounts, turning off all apps from back-up, restarting device, changing routers, attempting back-ups through different wifi spots) sometimes one or a combination of these band-aid fixes will work for a day or two, then suddenly the ipad (version 3) will simply stop backing up, and I will spend hours of frustration going through all the tedious fixes.  All the while my old ipod touch running ios 5 backs up daily with no problem whatsoever.  I have called Apple support and they seemed surprised that this is a problem and offer no real solution whatsoever.
    Until Apple gets their head out of the sand on this one, and actually fixes the obvious bug that exists is ios 6 this problem will continue and will not be resolved.

    - For the other problem you can try a reset. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - The next standard thing to do is to download/install a new app but you cant 'do that.
    - Instead, try restoring from backup.

        kydd33  Good question!  If you are looking to be removed from the family share plan, then the account owner would need to give you  (or the person looking to take over your line ) permission. This is known as an Assumption of Liability (AOL). I am assuming that you want to keep your Verizon phone number and are looking to remain a Verizon Wireless customer. If so, the age requirement is atleast 18. Also, the current account has to have a current balance. If another VZW customer is taking your line over then their account would need to have a current balance, as well.  To proceed, have the account owner call customer service and authorize that you can remove your line from their account. There is not a penalty or fee for the account owner.

    If you migrated your MobileMe account before 1 August you should have signed into System Preferences>iCloud with it, and you would be able to see your calendars, bookmarks and emails on the iCloud website. Is this the case? Did you sign into iCloud with your @me.com address?
    If you did not migrate your MobileMe account you can no longer do so.
    If you did migrate, did you do so from a full MobileMe account or from a Family Pack sub-account? the latter did not get the complimentary storage (because their iDisks were only 5GB anyway).
    If you had a full MobileMe account, check on your Mac - System Preferences>iCloud - and see whether that shows the upgrade. If it doesn't, you probably need to contact Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

    You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.

    With the position of the power button on the Retina MacBooks, any mistake turns off the screen in the middle of a presentation or any activity using a projector or big screen — a huge waste of time to wake up the display, enter password, have the projector sync back, watch audience disconnecting from what was being discussed, etc.
    This is very annoying, and seems to add to the increasing collection of options Apple decided to make by itself instead of allowing the user to choose.
    Come on Apple guys, I'm using my Mac because I want options and lots of preferences to tweak to my needs.
    If I needed the lobotomized version I'd be using my iPad!
    Any way (official or hack) to change this button back to its proper funcionality?

    What is the exact message of the compiler?
    I think the error is, that the compiler does not find the definition of ON
    and OFF. Is it in the same source file?
    If not, try to put it into an .h file and include it where you need it.
