When I go to the dowloads page only higher versions of OX 10 are available online and I can't get to them unless I have OX10.0 Any advice?

I dropped my laptop and the hard drive is no longer working. I am going to purchase a new hard drive and install it but my question is how do i get OSX LION back on the computer? this is my opinion. but in this case, you need to install previous OS that has a dvd, which in my case, i installed Snow Leopard first. it cost 30 dollars new.
after you have SL operates and do all software updates, you can download lion and install it over snow leopard.
hope someone here have a better and quicker solution straight to Lion.

In order to proceed you have to upgrade to Snow Leopard (10.6.8) first: you can purchase this from the online Apple Store. Note that you must have an Intel Mac in order to install this (and you should check the other requirements, listed in the Technical Specifications on the Store page, before purchasing). As you have Leopard it's possible your Mac is a PPC one: if this is the case you cannot upgrade any further.

The icon for Safari has probably moved to make room for new apps. Scroll the Home screen to look for it.

The Finder reports File information. The date and time of the photo are in the Photo's Exif metadata. The Finder has no awareness of this. All photos apps on any system do.
