How do i get out of group message

how do I remove myself from group message

This is beyong a pitfall. Is everyone trying to say that all the guys from apple who design iMessage and the group message feature are having a massive "oh yeah *face palm*" moment? Really? Seriously? Today I got sent a group text at 4am from family on the other side of the planet... i recieved 55 text messages (replies and then re-replies and then re-re-replies) in 15 minutes. AT FOUR IN THE MORNING!

How I can get out of the message group?
And if A send the grp msg in the morning, can everyone receive the msg if I reply A in the afternoon?

  • How do I get out of an iMessage group chat?

How do I get out an iMessage?! Like I have searched every website and still can't find anyway to get out of it. Some of my friends are adding me in these group messages and I am constantly trying to figure out who on earth am I texting! Then my friends eventually tell me who they are and I have to make unwanted contacts in my contact book so I can remember who they are. And sometimes I'm texting my friends moms! I really want to get out of these iMessages. Someone help me. On the other websites I have been on it says it is not possible, but I'm not willing to give up yet this is my last hope please help me.

Use a new address for iMessage. Use a free gmail.com email address just for iMessage.
iOS 7 allows you to block phone numbers or e-mail addresses from contacting you via the Phone, FaceTime, or Messages

My iPad screen is stuck on an alert message that is informing me that I have not backed up to iCloud in 5 weeks. How do I get pass this alert message.

I have been dealing with this problem since upgrading to ios 6.  I have an old ipod touch that is still running ios 5.? that backs up daily with no problem whatsoever.  I have attemped every solution posted on these help boards (i.e. deleting accounts, turning off all apps from back-up, restarting device, changing routers, attempting back-ups through different wifi spots) sometimes one or a combination of these band-aid fixes will work for a day or two, then suddenly the ipad (version 3) will simply stop backing up, and I will spend hours of frustration going through all the tedious fixes.  All the while my old ipod touch running ios 5 backs up daily with no problem whatsoever.  I have called Apple support and they seemed surprised that this is a problem and offer no real solution whatsoever.
Until Apple gets their head out of the sand on this one, and actually fixes the obvious bug that exists is ios 6 this problem will continue and will not be resolved.

  • How can i print out old text messages?

how can i print out old text messages?

As Ann said, it does depend on your phone.  One third party app that works on many phones (especially older models, but not all phones) is BitPim ( http://www.bitpim.org/ ) but it can potentially harm/brick your phone if you don't know what you are doing - use it with caution.  I have used it successfully to get texts and photos off an old flip phone that was deactivated and had no sd card.
Newer smartphones can download apps that will give you the ability to print out texts.

  • Excel 2011 version 14.4.8 running on an iMac gets "out of memory" messages.

HELP!!!   Excel 2011 running on an iMac with OS 10.10.2 and 16GB Ram gets "out of memory" messages.  When I monitor processes with "Activity Monitor", I am using less than half of my RAM.  The Excel workbook has many sheets and also some macros.  The basic workbook has been running for about two and half years starting in August 2012 without any problems until I upgraded to Yosemite in early December 2014.  Now I often have to restore the entire file content because it gets corrupted after not being able to save the file because of the "out of memory" message.  I can take a file and its content that ran fine a year ago and run it today and it will eventually get corrupted and get the "Out of memory" message after saving/quitting/re-opening the file any where from 6 to 15 to 25 times.  I think I need to have more memory allocated to Excel, but Yosemite doesn't provide any way for the user to interact with the memory management process.  I have also experienced the very same problem on my MacBook Pro that runs Yosemite.  I have worked file/path name length issues, closely inspected the macros that normally don't run except when activated with a user pressed button, and made sure I don't have any weird links within the workbook or even links to another file outside the workbook.  This problem seems to get worse as a continue to fill up the spread sheet with more financial data.  This Excel workbook is used to manage my club's finances; I am the club treasurer.  I have searched the internet for clues about similar problems and have found none!
My iMac is a 27-inch, Late 2009 with a 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 Processor.  It includes 16GB of 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM.  The hard drive is a fussed 1TB rotating HD with 128 GB SSD.  This hardware has been running for about 27 months.  I am a very advanced Mac user that programs Excel and Filemaker and repairs Macs for others.

Given the caveat, have you tried reinstall of Office? Your MS Office 2011 may have become corrupted.  After upgrading to Yosemite I had to reinstall my Office 2011.  No crashes.
The current version of Office 2011 is 14.4.8.
First - find your Office 2011 install disc with the product key # - and only then remove Office according to MS instructions
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2398768
Or go here to DianefromOregon's site for help removing Office 2011:
    http://www.officeformachelp.com/2012/12/office-for-mac-2011-remove-office/
    Then Reinstall from DVD
    Then enter your Product #
After successfully reinstalling Office 2011,  update your Office product using the Software update within Office called Microsoft Update or going to the Help menu within Word or Excel or PowerPoint and select Update.
It may take a few times before you get to final upgrade to current Office version.
It should be 14.4.8 as of current date.

  • How do I get out of this box????

I froze after the original installation of lightroom 3 and couldn't decide whether to create a new lr file or upgrade my elements 9 file.  At the freezing point I am stuck in a little box which asks me to (myself!) create the file or choose another file.
I don't know where to  create the file, or how to name it, or where to put it.  Would prefer to upgrade my photoshop elements file, but no longer seem to have that choice.  I can't get back to that choice.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled my new lightroom, but it just comes up to that box.
    Help help help please.

Hi there...yikes, I don't use this email address very often and didn't see all the messages until just now.  I went on chat with an adobe person this morning, and he walked me through the manual removal procedure, including how to find hidden files.  Once I had deleted lightroom in that place, everything was fine and I could relaumch it completely...thanks for your interest.

  • How do I get out of iOS Mail Setup?

    Hi All
I got a new iPad Mini for  Christmas.  I got it set up and working easily and fairly quickly.
I copied my Mail settings from my MacPro (OSX 10.8) using the "Sync selected Mail accounts" check box in iTunes. I've been reading mail on my iPad for about a month.
Yesterday I traveled several hours to stay with a friend for a while. I got the iPad on my friends WiFi without a problem and I can surf the web, map stuff and everything appears to be working fine... till I check email.
When I open Mail, I'm presented with the "Welcome to Mail" setup screen - like mail thinks it's not configured.
I go into Settings/Mail, Contacts and Calendars, and all my email  acccounts are there, just like they should be.
The iPad is playing the New Message alert chime as it fetches mail in the background.
When I open Mail all I get is the Welcome to Mail screen!
I tried putting in dummy info to get past the setup, but that fails and I end up back at the Welcome to Mail screen.
How do I get out of the stinking setup screen and back to my emails?

Thank you all for taking the time to read this. I believe I've solved the problem.
    What I did:
I have several email accounts (ISP, Gmail, etc). I have them set to forward to one 'primary' account and I have that set to Active and the rest set to Inactive.
I went into Settings/Mail, Comtacts and Calendars and activated one of the inactive accounts, and de-activated the account I normally use. This change apparently convinced Mail that it was indeed configured and it got out of the setup screen and back to may emails.
I then went back to Settings/Mail, Contacts and Calanders and returned the accounts to their original configurations. Things are now back to 'normal'.
This is clearly a programming issue. Apps should not need to be 'kicked' like that to function.

  • How can I get rid of this message that keeps popping up: Widevine Media Optimizer Update Available? Don't know what it is but don't want it.

How can I get rid of this message that keeps popping up:
Widevine Media Optimizer Update Available? Don’t know what it is but don’t want it.

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
Here are some general guidelines. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickYourMac.” First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickyourmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickYourMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickYourMac.” If not, open “BrickYourMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
You may have to log out or reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.

  • Indesign CS6 quits during document recovery, even after restart. How do I get out of this cycle?

Indesign CS6 quits during document recovery, even after restart. How do I get out of this cycle?
I was saving a document when it originally quit. so "locked" file appeared in directory as well as reg file.
Upon restart of InDesign, recovery failed and software quit again.
Restarted computer, then indesign, file opens but as soon as I select "recover" it sends a message that indesign needs to close.
I cannot seem to get out of this cycle. Help.

Use your operating system’s Search utility to find a folder called (InDesign Recovery) and delete it.
