I Bought this Iphone 5 off this dude. but i cant even use it because theres no sim card and the activation thing says i need one.. I have an iphone 4 with the same carrier which is verizon. but the sim card is bigger so it wont fit. i looked up ways but theres no way to get passed it on ios 8 yet just some ways on ios 7. So somebody please give me an source or something. And dont just say u have the same problem because i really dont care just give a answer

You always need a SIM card to activated any iPhone.
For iPhone 5, you'll need a nano-sim card.

Hey, my sister gave me her old iPhone 5 and took her SIM.
Since I'm using iPhone 4, the SIM card is not suitable for the iPhone 5, and needs to be resized.
Few minutes ago I finished updating the iPhone 5, and unfortunately I discovered I must have a SIM installed.
There is a way to activate the iOS without a SIM card just for the meanwhile?
Or I'm stuck till I fix this, cause I actually lost my SIM tray aswell and I need to buy a new one.

No. There is no way that you can activate a phone without a sim card.
Purchase a new sim card and tray and then you can activate the phone.

You don't need an Apple ID to use a "classic" iPod. You only need a computer (Mac or PC) that can run iTunes. If your iPod is older, your computer does not even need to run the latest version of iTunes. You can add songs to your iTunes library from music CDs, and song files you have already. Then sync the iPod to that iTunes library.

If it says there is no sim card installed it either can't find one physcially, or the card moved and lost contact or has failed. A new sim card can be obtained form your Mum's cell/mobile carrier if needed easily.
However this is irrelevant to whether or not the iPad can join a Wifi network. Its 2 different things.
For now ignore the Sim card message and just try to connect to her Wifi network. It is independent and should function regarldess of the sim card status.

And yes we do not have disagreement about "official apple developers". Problem is that Apple screwed our devices because we are "official apple developers" and did effort to stop us getting proper help. I unbricked my ipad and iphone thanks to unofficial help. Thank you who wrote this unofficial help and "no thanks" for apple for ruining my access to my devices. My mistake was assuming that "update" button on my devices works. It did not because it always told "Your device has latest IOS6 installed" until it bricked yesterday.
If Apple does not want to listen us, continue do delete post, blame us installing your software and yes we stop buying your devices and developing for them.

You can try a soft-reset of pressing and holding both the home and sleep buttons for 10 to 15 seconds so that it reboots, but you are likely to get the same screen. If it does then it will need to be connected to a computer's iTunes so that it can be reset back to factory defaults - do you have a friend with a computer with iTunes installed on it, or is there an Apple store nearby that you could try going to (if there is then preferably make a Genius Bar appointment at it, or don't go at a busy time) ?
Has she been backing up to the cloud ? If she has then she should be able to restore to that. If not then what she can redownload for free from the stores will show in the Purchased tabs in the store apps.

Somehow your iPad will have to have internet access to be activated. If you don't have cellular or WiFi available, go some place that does. That might be an Apple Store, or public WiFi place ...
