i just got a new macbook air. i transfered everything from my previous macbook pro. when i plug in my iphone (4s, v6.1.3), it tells me that i don't have permission to connect to the iphone because it's password protected. when i put in the password and say try again, it still says i don't have permission to connect. i need to sync! help!

How can I get Bridge to connect with my Iphone 5s?

It worked fine with Iphone 4s, but even though the IPhone 5s is connected to my Mac, Bridge will not recognize it. Also, I cannot update to 6.5 in Bridge either for some reason.

Connect your iPhone via the standard USB connector to your computer, open Bridge and if you have not set to open Photodownloader automatically use the command File / Get photo's from camera or use the tiny camera icon with arrow down at in the icon bar top left of bridge window.
This should open Adobe Photodownloader and it should auto select the images and movies but otherwise use the option to select the source. Also study the options available in Photodownloader and use the advance button to get some thumbs of the content on your phone.

Reading some older threads from 2012 and 2011 it appears the problem was present even then. Part of the problem was due to people using multiple or different account id's on the various devices. In my case, I only have one ID and it is the same on all devices yet the iPhone and iPad are still throwing the same error when I try turning on iTunes Match. Open the start menu, then select Control Panel in the right hand column. Open the Programs and Features section, type Apple in the search box at top right. You need to uninstall the components in the order suggested in the user tip.
Once all have been uninstalled reboot and use Windows Explorer to locate the named folders and delete them. Then reinstall.

need to have more items run when the power switches up/down or out, you'd need to
consider a larger capacity backup power unit. In some instances, the makers of these
(for a time, perhaps even now) did caution users to not install more than one UPS per
room when the same leg may have inadequate grounding, since these can dump the
excess surge power from several different UPS units and overload the ground.
That said, the gamble is yours. I've found to have and use these is some protection
and when away from the computer. Most settings for controlling them appear in OS X.
No additional software is required. Other settings may be on the UPS front panel.

There is a quick way to extract images displayed in an email - click and hold on the image in the email, then drag it out onto the Desktop. It should be copied to that location with no issue of permission intruding.

Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make/model, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

To connect your iPod to wifi just:
     1. Open settings,
     2. Tap Wi-Fi,
     3. Make sure the Wi-Fi switch is on,
     4. Tap the network you would like to connect to,
     5. If the network has a password then type it in and press join.
For hidden networks(networks that don't broadcast their SSID(name))
     1. Follow 1-3 above,
     2. Tap other,
     3. Type in SSID(name) of the network,
     4. Select the security of the network,
     5. If there is a password type it in,
     6. Press Join.
Some public networks may now show a login screen where you may have to agree to terms and conditions, enter your email etc...

How do i get permission from Apple to do my youtube tutorials?

I do music tutorials using Logic Pro 8.
I have just become a youtube partner.
I have approx 75 vids all very similar fashion to each other. The problem is only 20 of the video tutorials were accepted into the revenue sharing partner program. I have a feeling that youtube require me to provide some sort of documented permission from Apple that they are happy for me to be doing these tutorials showing the wonderful capabilities of Logic.
I am essentially promoting Apples product Logic, so I can only assume that they would be happy for me to do these videoss.
My question is, who do i have to contact and how do I get permission from Apple?

The wonderful people at MICROSOFT forum helped with this problem, I will post response here:
Enable the permission and check the issue status.
a. Right click on the folder and click Properties.
b. Click Security Tab, click Edit under Group or User Names and click Add.
c. Type “Everyone” and click check names.
d. Click Ok.
e. Click Full Control under Permissions for everyone.
f. Click Apply and click Ok.
g. Click Ok.
Templates are to be saved in the following location:
System folder (username:) \ App Data \ Roaming \ Adobe \ Adobe Illustrator CS5 Settings \ en_GB \ New Document Profiles
this is using CS5 on Windows 8
