How do I get photos from iCloud TO iPad?
I connected my iPad in my computer and I dind't mean to restore it, but ir did. So now all my photos from the iPad are gone, but I know they are on iCloud. But the problem is I didn't make a backup from iCloud, and now I can't get them back to my iPad!
Please help me, I'm losing my mind here! There are over 1000 photos!
Thanks
The only photos backed up to iCloud are the ones in Camera Roll which are only there if you selected iCloud for your iPad Backup. If the backup was setup to be on the computer there may not be one on iCloud. Through the Restore process you should have been prompted to restore from a backup if available. This is you best option for recovering only those photos which were stored in Camera Roll.
iCloud does have the Photo Stream service which is not intended to be a back up but more of a service to share your photos between other devices. It is possible to use Shared Photo Streams for backups but it is also intened to be used to share photos. The "My Photo Stream" has a 1000 photo and 30 day limit in which photos are removed from the servers once these limits are reached. You can log into iCloud and turn on Photo stream on the iPad which will return any photo still available on the server, but not all will be there.
Since Photo Stream and iCloud are more of a syncing service other than string the limited data in the iOS backup irreplaceable files should be synced to a dedicated online photo back up service. Or at best transferred to a computer where they can be organized and properly backed up using external drives, CD/DVDs and/or other online services. Once organized iTunes can sync an additional copy for viewing on the iPad.
Good luck.

How do i transfer photos from icloud to ipad
How do i transfer photos from icloud to ipad
For older photos you could just create a new "Shared Photo Stream" via iCloud on your iPhone and share it with yourself or you could use another cloud storage service (like Dropbox or Flickr etc.) or you could transfer them via iTunes on a PC/Mac.

How do I get photos from laptop to iPad, can't find photo tab
How do I get photos from lap top to iPad?
The photos tab appears on the right-hand side of iTunes when you've selected the device, in the same way as the music, films tabs etc appear for syncing those items to the iPad. You need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - not including photos in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from the iPad. Can't get photos from iCloud onto iPad since updating
HI guys, not very technical so please bear with me
Basically, I updated my iPad software yesterday and all my photos disappeared. So I shared them all again from my iPhone so they would then go back on to my iPad. This worked at first and then stopped working so some photos are on Ipad but not others, and I cannot figure out why or what to do to get my photos from icloud onto my iPad. Anyone know what is wrong or what I can do to fix it?
thanks in advance for any helpCan anyone help? Basically, any photos I send to iCloud are not going to my iPad now since updating. Would appreciate any advice please.
thanks -

How can i get photos from mac to ipad ? please
hi all, i am in a mess !, some how a lot of photos have been deleted from my iPad, and i dont know how ?.
However i do still have these photos on my MacBookPro but i dont remember how i got them onto my iPad originally, over 2 years ago (this is nothing to do with Photo Stream)
So PLEASE PLEASE how do i get these photos back onto my iPad ?. I would rather not use iTunes, i think this may be why the photos have gone AWOL in the first place !!!.
iTunes always seems to be so dammed complicated for my liking
i have an APP called iExplorer but i cant work out how to get that to work, i can two Finder Windows, one for MacBookPro and one for iPad but something seems to be write (or read) protected, i can select all the photos on my MacBookPro in one window but i simply cannot drag them across to the iPad window !!!
TimHey Timmy,
I use Dropbox to get my photos to/from my iPad to my computer wirelessly (no iTunes). The process below is one I posted a few weeks ago for the opposite process than what you're wanting to do (from iPad to computer) but Dropbox will work both ways. Just set up a Dropbox folder on your computer and set up the Dropbox app on your iPad and they will both be in sync automatically.
Hope this helps!

---from a post I did a few weeks ago---
The Dropbox app has a very cool auto-upload process that will automatically upload photos from the iPad Camera Roll to Dropbox.
First sign up for a free Dropbox account from your computer.
Then, download the free Dropbox app on your iPad.
Log in to the Dropbox app on the iPad with your new account and click on the Photos icon in the lower left corner of the screen (second one from the left).
Select "Enable Camera Upload" and "Only Wi-Fi." The upload process will begin for all existing photos in the Camera Roll.
From now on, all future photos taken by the iPad will automatically upload to the Dropbox folder. You can then download your photos from Dropbox to your computer by going to http://www.dropbox.com, logging in to your account, and downloading the photos. You can then put the photos on a USB drive or burn to a CD or upload them to a photo processing website.
Hope this helps!

If you are talking about those in your PhtoStream then go to the PhotoStream Album where you can copy them to your Cameral Roll and send them to other places.

Hi Hannah,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
The article linked below will walk you through restoring the iPhone from a previous iCloud or iTunes backup.
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
Restore from an iCloud backup
If you have a new iOS device, or if you need to restore your iOS device to resolve an issue, follow these steps.
Follow the initial steps in the iOS Setup Assistant (select your language, and so on).
Select Restore from iCloud Backup when the assistant asks you to set up your iPhone (or other iOS device).
Select the backup you created earlier.
You can restore a backup only by using the iOS Setup Assistant.
If you've already set up your device, you can erase all current content to go through the iOS Setup Assistant again. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Do this only if you already have a backup, because this step will remove all current content from your device.
Use iTunes
Restore from a backup
If you have a new iOS device, or if you need to restore your device to resolve an issue, follow these steps:
Connect your iOS device to the computer that has your backup.
Make sure this computer has the latest version of iTunes.
Choose File > Devices > Restore from Back up.
If you're using iTunes 10.7 or earlier, right-click the device from the list and choose Restore from Backup.

How do i get photos from computer to iPhone?
how do i get photos from my macbook onto my iphone5. i transferred iphone photos to iphoto, and now they disappeared from my phone! something went wrong!
On your Mac: open System Preferences, select iCloud. Either create an account, or login if you already have one. Ensure that everything you want to synchronise between your Mac and your iPhone is ticked. In this case especially 'Photo Stream', but I find it useful to synchronise Calendars, Notes, Contacts and Reminders. If you use an @me.com email address then synchronise Mail as well - I don't.
On your iPhone: go into Settings, select iCloud. Login to your account (if necessary). Ensure that 'Photo Stream' is turned on.
That's it, photo's taken on your iPhone will automatically synchronise with your Mac, and photos in the 'Photo Stream' folder of iPhoto on your Mac will automatically synchronise with your iPhone.
There are other advantages to setting up iCloud if you have both a Mac and an iPhone, e.g. 'Find my Mac' which despite it's name enables you to find your iPhone as well, which let's face it is much more likely to get lost or stolen. -
HT4910 How do i get photos from my Camera Roll into my Photo Stream?
How do i get photos from my Camera Roll into my Photo Stream? It seems it is supposed to do it automatically , but it does not.
Photos are normally uploaded automatically as long as you are connected to wifi, have the camera app closed and have at least 20% battery life remaining. (It doesn't require a manual iCloud backup first.)
If yours are working, if you haven't already done so, try turning off photo stream, then turn it back on.
Sometimes people have issues getting photo stream to work on their home wifi, even if other devices in the home seem to work fine. To troubleshoot this as a possible cause, some things to try include:
Power-cycling your router (unplug for 15 seconds, then plug back in), then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Reset Network Settings, then rejoin your wifi network.
See if there is a firmware update available for your router.
Change the DNS settings in your router to Google's Public DNS (see https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using)
As a diagnostic step, go to a public wifi hotspot and take a photo, then wait a minute or so to see if it appears in your My Photo Stream album on your phone. If it does, this confirms that the problem is with your home wifi. -
How do I delete photos from icloud photo stream on my iphone and ipad
question
how to delete individual photos from icloud streamAs far as I know, you don't. iCloud photo stream automatically stores all of your photos for 30 days, then self-deletes them. It's meant to give you plenty of time to download the photos to a computer before they get deleted.
