I had the creative cloud and was able to use photoshop on my iMac. Now I have a MacBook and want to use it on here. I no longer have that iMac.

You simply install and sign in. You can install on up to two computers, Mac or PC.
If you install on a third, one of the other two will be deactivated.

How do I transfer Photoshop to my new laptop without install CD?

My laptop is ancient and about to die. I have a new one and I want to transfer Photoshop onto my new one. I know I can deactivate Photoshop on my old laptop but how do I get it on my new one? I can't remember 100% but I'm sure I installed it via download when I purchased it so I don't have an install disc. So how do I go about getting it on my new laptop so I can then deactivate it on my old one and then continue using it on my new one?

Well my old laptop had a short in it and everytime you went to open it the screen would go blank. I went to get if fixed but the guy said they couldn't fix it. So I got a new laptop and now I don't know how to download itunes on my computer without erasing everything that is currently on my ipod. Help me please!

How do I get Photoshop CS1 on newer computer?

I have Creative Suite 1 Standard, yes, CS1, on a G4. It works great. I'm trying to get it installed on a G5 with OS 10.5.1 and 2GB of Ram.
Interestingly, InDesign and Illustrator went in fine and launch fine. Yet, I really only want Photoshop. Every time I launch Photoshop, I get "Validation Error". And, have tried everything I've read about it with no luck. Making matters worse, I bought Elements 6 for Mac, installed it, and discovered I cannot open CMYK TIFFS.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Again, I'm just looking for Photoshop to run on the G5

Have you tried running the updater in the help menu of the apps you can open? It will get the updates for all the apps.
I got the same thing but I have CS2. After 5 or 6 errors PS did finally open and worked fine.
Running the updater got rid of the errors.

If you mean CS2 Photoshop 2 is 1991 version of Photoshop. Adobe tood down the old activation servers and made a new download available for old CS2 customers to be able to install CS2 using their new activation servers. Download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products

Downloaded CS3, Computer Died, How do I get Photoshop on new computer?

I bought Photoshop CS3 (single-user license) about a year ago and downloaded it directly from the Adobe site onto my computer. All was well in the world. Then last week my computer's motherboard died and it's looking like I have to get a new computer. However, I'm unsure how I can get Photoshop (either the original CS3 or upgrade to CS4) on my new computer. I have the seriel number of my original purchase and the credit card receipt but not sure what to do next. It doesn't look like I can just upgrade to CS4 since CS3 won't be on the new computer??? Or will it install the entire program and CS3 doesn't need to be on there as long as I provide the seriel number???

Exactly that. The update installer only checks the two serials. There is no requirement for any CS3 component to actually be present on the system. For the rest - as Buko said, you should be perfectly able to use your old drive on a new mobo, assuming you do not plan on formatting it or foregoing it in favor of new harddisks. If you do, it would still be smart to at least once plug in the old drive to deactivate PS, so you don't have to bother with calling phone support to do it for you. Reinstalling CS3 on the new system should be no problem, if you have the source files for the installer, but since you seem to plan to go with CS4, I guess it won't be necessary to start any discussions about backup DVDs or not. Still, make sure to always create backups in some form. You never know what happens tomorrow. even without hardware failures, there may be occasions that require a re-install.

Thanks Pierre, I have converted the .rwl files to .dng, but CS4 says it does not recognise them. What now? Or is Mylenium correct?

Hello, you should download the latest DNG converter: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/extend.displayTab2.html
I suggest to contact Leica and ask them why they do not use the DNg format on that camera, as they do on their more costly models.

On newer versions of photoshop cs4-cc, it's usually Window>Application Frame

You can't buy photoshop in the shop anymore but we can't purchase it online because we are in a country that it isn't available to (Cook Islands) - how can we get photoshop?
