How do I get picture messaging to work?
when I try to send a picture along with any text message I send out the text goes through just fine but when the picture goes out it says not delivered wheat could be the problem/issue?

We want that picture to send! There are many possible causes to a picture messaging issue. The most common reason is simply a setting. Go to Settings > Messages and turn MMS Messaging on. Go to Settings > Cellular and turn Cellular Data on. Power off and back on and retest. Let us know if you are still having any trouble.

How do I get my messages to start working again? It just says server can not complete.
This could be a complicated problem to solve, as there are many possible causes for it. Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
Before proceeding, test on another network, if possible. That could be a public Wi-Fi hotspot, if your computer is portable, or a cellular network if you have a mobile device that can share its Internet connection. If you find that iMessage works on the other network, the problem is in your network or at your ISP, not in your computer.
Step 1
Check the status of the service. If the service is down, wait tor it to come back up. There may be a localized outage, even if the status indicator is green.
Step 2
Sign out of iMessage on all your Apple devices. Log out and log back in. Try again to sign in.
Step 3
Restart your broadband device and your router, if different. You may have to skip this step if you don't control those devices.
Step 4
From the menu bar, select
▹ About This Mac
Below the "OS X" legend in the window that opens, the OS version appears. Click the version line twice to display the serial number. If the number is missing or invalid according to this web form, take the machine to an Apple Store or other authorized service center to have the problem corrected.
Step 5
Take the steps suggested in this support article. If you don't understand some of the steps or can't carry them out, ask for guidance.
Step 6
From the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If the box marked SOCKS Proxy is checked, uncheck it. You don’t need to change any other settings in the window. Click OK and then Apply. Test.
The result may be that you can't connect to the Internet at all. Revert the change if that happens, or if iMessage still doesn't work. Remember that you must Apply any changes you make in the preference pane before they take effect.
Step 7
Select from the menu bar
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Storage
and click
Block all sites from storing information on this computer
Close the preference pane.
Step 8
Make sure you know the ID and password you use with iMessage. Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to find and delete all items with "iMessage" in the name. Log out and log back in.
Step 9
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
If iMessage worked in the guest account, stop here and post your results.
Step 10
Boot in safe mode and log in. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and test again.
If iMessage worked in safe mode, but didn't work when you booted out of safe mode, stop here and post your results.
Step 11
Reset the NVRAM.
Step 12
Reinstall OS X.
Step 13
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or contact Apple Support. -
How do I get the messaging to work with Mountain Lion?
I downloaded Mountain Lion. So far everything seems to be working properly but I can't seem to use the new messaging feature. I click on the message icon.....I can access my contacts (although it gives me NO choice of email address - seems to only pick AOL). I've tested it and the recipient doesn't receive the message nor do I see the message on any of my other devices. It's like something isn't syncing. Was I supposed to do something to start it......perhaps turn on a setting? anybody?? thanks.
Open Messages, select Messages from the App Menu and go to preferences.
Under accounts, you should have an iMessage account linked to your AppleID or iCloud account.

you have to apply Extension Manager 5.0.3 update. Apple made some API changes in Lion which causes Extension Manager CS5/5.5 crash. We released Extension Manager 5.0.3 and 5.5.3 update last April to solve this issue. You can apply this update via Adobe Application Manager. You can also click "Help"->"Updates..." menu item in Photoshop CS5, then update Extension Manager CS5 in popped up dialog box.
Each version of Extension Manager only installs/manages extensions for the same version of products. For example, Extension Manager CS5 only installs or manages extensions for Dreamweaver CS5, Photoshop CS5, InDesign CS5, etc. Extension Manager CC is only for Photoshop CC, etc. -

The message function on my Ipad just quit working. I was using it while in Mexico and it just quit. I have come home and synced my Ipad with Itunes and function still does not work. How do I get this function to work again?
When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

I am using an I phone 5 in Germany and trying to get text messaging to work through the hands free Bluetooth connection on a Honda CRV. It keeps telling me that text messaging is not a feature of my phone. messages come in on the phone.How to resolve ?

And yes I think that's a typo - there's no such thing as 'Mone' that I've ever heard of...
But you might want to check to find out if this is a mu-law non-linear format, possibly - there are several ways that 8 bit 8k wav files can be encoded, and typically phone systems don't use linear ones. If you have a log-in to Zultys' user-base system they have an FAQ there, I believe - the answer might be in that, and it won't cost $500. -

Thanks, just so I know we are talking about the same items please let me know - When you say "run Prokit" do you mean downloaded? Which I did. I dont have Prokit 4.0.1 if you are referring to that, do I need this first? Please explain what application name I am looking for if other than Prokit which is sitting in my "download folder" do I need to manually put it into the apps folder? HP Phoenix 8-core - how do I get XP Mode to work in Windows 7 64-bit?
My Computer: HP Phoenix 8-core, 12 GB Ram, over 1,000GB hard drive space, Win 7 SP1 with current updates. Downloaded and installed the following: Windows XP Mode with Windows Virtual PC, the hotfix MS provided for AMD multicore, and the MS Hardware-Assisted Virtualization Detection Tool which informed me that my computer does have hardware-assisted virtualization. I have done EVERYTHING Microsoft has advised.

I again just now went into the BIOS as follows: Security, System Security-Data Execution Prevention AND Virtualization Technology were both enabled. So I saved changes and exited. The has happened over 7 times. Yesterday evening before I posted on this forum, I uninstalled, deleted everything, restarting the computer after doing each step, went to website yet again, redownloaded everything again, and tried to install once again. I have 2 games Words with Friends and Cityville that receives a Pop-up message form iTunes... "Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications" and will not allow me to exit out of the app or play. How can I get this message to STOP?
Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. Any guidance is MUCH appreciated - Im not sure where to go from here.
