if you have a Windows computer you need to have Windows Media Player 11 installed to "see" your S3's directories/folders when you attach it via USB .. this drove me crazy for a week trying to figure out as NO WHERE in the tutorials does it mention you need, at least for Windows XP, to install the latest WindowsMediaPlayer for Windows to recognize an Android phone and see it's files and folders
You'll find your pictures in the Gallery folder as I recall .. you can simply copy or cut them into your computer as if the S3 were another connected computer (which it is )

The only other way you can move photos from the iPhone is to mail them to yourself ( which is very time consuming). If you mean photo stream, you can't access them directly from your Galaxy 5. Save them to the camera roll on your iPhone and import them to your computer (iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer). Then transfer them to your Galaxy 5 as recommended by Samsung.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

You can't undo that.
No backup of the current state of the new phone was made. It was wiped and the last backup of your old phone was restored to it.
Anything you had on the new phone is gone.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)
