You can copy pictures from your iPhone directly to your iPad with an App like Photo Transfer.

The iPhone should appear to the computer as any other digital camera would. Photos are not extracted using iTunes. You need to use your photo management program.
Refer to your Windows user manual or help files.

  • How do I get pictures from the iPhone to my Windows 7 PC?

I am running Windows 7, and I have iTunes installed. When I connect my iPhone, iTunes opens automatically, but I can't access the pictures from Windows Explorer. It used to show up in Computer, but it suddenly stopped. I don't think anything has changed since then. How do I get the pictures onto my computer?

The only way you can get pictures FROM your iPhone to your computer is if you took the pictures with your iPhone. The only other way you can move photos from the iPhone is to mail them to yourself ( which is very time consuming). If you are trying to get photos from your computer TO your iPhone...in iTunes, click on "Photos" and make sure you check the photos you want to sync.............then sync.If you're still having problems, let me know.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

  • HT201302 How do I get photos from my iPhone to my iPad

I have a new iPad and I would like the pictures from my iPhone to appear on my iPad

The way I replied earlier would not autmatically move photos from one device to the other.
If you want to do that, I recommend starting with Photo Stream described here:
    iCloud: Photo Stream
Of course, Photo Stream will not work retroactively ---- It will start when you turn it on for your devices.

  • How do i get picture from my iphone that are not in my camera roll to my computer??? pleasee help been fiddling for 4 hours!!!

i have been trying to get photo from my phone onto my new computer because i lost everything. i have got all the photos from my camera roll onto it but i can get the one that i put on there from my old computer. i did try download iexplorer but you have to pay for it in dollars im in the UK. i have noticed to that if i edit  few they go into the camera roll after but then how do i delete the orignals. please someone help its really frustrating me!!!!!

The photo sync is one way - computer to iphone.  As the photos came from your computer in the first place, then they should still be there and should have been included in your regular backup copy of your computer.
You can e-mail them to yourself.  they will not be of the original quality.
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. It simply mirrors the selected content of your computer/cloud service.

  • How do i get pictures from my macbook to my iPad and iPhone?

I have pictures FROM my Macbook and would like to get some of them to my iPad and iPhone via iCloud.  I get things from my iOS devices TO my Macbook Pro.  I know I must be missing a step somewhere and being a Techie aka Nude it is really an irritant .  I recently have moved from a PC to an Apple so easily frustated when I can't sit down to a computer and take off.  Please help.

If you mean by adding them to photostream, just select the photos you want to add in iPhoto and choose photostream from the share menu.

How do I transfer pictures off iphone 4 on to my laptop

The easiest way is to bypass iCloud and just connect your iphone to iTunes, go to the photos section and follow instructions.
To use photo stream to wirelessly copy photos to the iphone, you must turn on photo stream in System Preferences>iCloud and Settings>iCloud (on mac and phone) and then in iphoto, turn on photo stream and copy the pix you want to the photo stream album.  That will copy over to the iphone's photo stream album in the photos app.

  • How can I get pictures from my PC to my iPad

How can I get my picture files from my PC to my iPad?

There are third-party iPad apps such as Simple Transfer which can be used to copy photos off your iPad via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer. Do you not have a backup copy (or copies) on external drives ?

  • How do I get pictures from my computer to the iPad?

I would like to take some pictures from my computer and put it on the iPad2. Any suggestions on how to do this?

When you plug the iPad into itunes, select your device from the menu on the right. Go to the photo's tab towards the top, and you have the option to choose which pictures/folders to sync to the device.
    Hope this helps...

  • How do I get pictures from my iphone to my mac?

The pictures were taken on my iphone.  I know that they should sync to my mac but they aren't.  HELP

Photos/vidoes in the Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera, which is not handled by iTunes.
With a Mac, you can use iPhoto or the Image Capture application.

  • Beginner Question: How do I get pictures from my iPhone to my PC?

I used to email them to myself, but it is just way too cumbersome. I now have 160 photos I'd like to move to my computer. I searched this forum and it seems most questions are way more advanced than what I need. Thanks!

So, can I or can I not transfer photos/videos taken with my iPhone 3GS to my PC?
    You can.
Check the iPhone user guide, which you can download to your computer as a PDF file, and access to the iPhone user guide is included on your iPhone as a Safari bookmark.
And read what I provided with my previous post.
Thanks. But I have read the user guide and it says, as I have suggested above, that I need 3rd party software.
    From the manual:
*Uploading Photos and Videos to Your Computer*
+You can upload the photos and videos you take with Camera to photo applications on your computer, such as iPhoto on a Mac.+
+Upload images to your computer: Connect iPhone to your computer.+
+• Mac: Select the photos you want and click the Import or Download button in iPhoto or other supported photo application on your computer.+
+• PC: *Follow the instructions that came with your camera or photo application*.+
I have also looked in Windows 'Camera Wizard' as you have suggested above and my phone is not listed nor can I add it because the manufacturer "Apple" is not an option when adding a new imaging device.
It should not be this hard!

How do i get pictures from iphone to mac?

If you want your photos to end up in iPhoto, just do a normal sync. If you don't want to use iPhoto, or if you just want to put your phone photos in a normal visible folder on the desktop, luckily when you plug in the iPhone a Mac sees it like a camera or card reader. This means the iPhone will show up in common applications that have an import-from-camera feature. I've copied photos off my iPhone using Apple Image Capture, PhoneView, and Adobe Lightroom, for example.
