How do I get Podcasts onto my U2 Special edition Ipod ??

I've just discoverd Podcasts, have downloaded many and can't get them on my U2!! Is the U2 (colour screen model) compatible with podcasts? Please help!! If I try and drop and drag the podcast onto the U2 icon, there is the circle with line thru it

To copy audiobooks or podcasts to the iPod shuffle, it must be configured to manually manage music. Once configured, you can drag and drop different podcasts/playlists to the iPod shuffle.

The Autofill feature of iTunes will not add audiobooks and podcasts to any iPod model. They can be manually added by dragging them to the iPod shuffle in iTunes.

How do I get Podcasts from iTunes 11 to my iPod Classic?

Hi All...
I'm attempting to do something I've never done before which is transfer Podcasts from iTunes 11 to my iPod Classic (160GB). I tried for a couple of hours last night but I could find out how to download the Podcasts and then tranfer them to the iPod. The Podcasts I'm downloading come in at about 112 podcasts - They're are many but they are each rather small. I can't figure out how to make this work. I'd like to just download and transfer selected podcasts as for some reason when I try to find the podcasts I need others show up in the list too.

No backup is a huge mistake.

All you have to do is connect your new iPod to the computer that has the library for your old iPod.
When iTunes comes up, click on your new iPod under Devices.
At the top of the Summary Page click Music.
Click Synch Music.
Do the same thing for Photos, Apps, Movies and so on...
Now just synch the iPod.

I just had this problem today!, but i have a SOLUTION ,
right click the finder icon and click "go to folder"
type : "~Library/ Application Support
Find the minecraft folder, Backup your Saves, (drag the saves folder onto the desktop) *OPTIONAL*
delete the minecraft folder, not the application.
Open the minecraft Launcher (it will take a while to start up)
Put in login info and when its loaded up, press "play"
The blue bar will take a minute or two...
And then... it should start normally
U dont need to repeat the steps every time u open Minecraft. You can later replace the saves folder with the new one back to where it was whenever you want at the same place where it used to be before. Hope this helped!

On my system preferences I have a MobileMe symbol but no icloud. My ipad and iphone are in sync with each other but calendar events from these are not transferring to my computer. I suspect this is because icloud is the missing link on my mac. I am running Mac 0s X version 10.6.8 is this the problem? How do I get icloud onto my PC or is it a software update issue?

To run icloud on your mac you'll need to upgrade to at least Lion, but preferably Mountain Lion. You can purchase and download Mountain Lion in the App Store. If your system will not run Mountain Lion, but will run Lion, you'll have to call AppleCare to order a redemption code for it, to be used in the App Store.
Before upgrading, be sure your currently important software will run on the newer OS. Always do a backup before upgrading.

No it does not. The 2 are separate.
To get Pages on your Mac mini purchase it from the Mac App Store. The icon is on your Dock.

Recently purchased FCPX from the app store, downloaded fine onto my primary iMac, but how do I get it onto my second (backup) iMac? My understanding is that I can have it on more than one computer?
When I go into my iTunes account information it shows as being purchased but it does not show in "purchased Apps" to download again, am I missing something here?

Hi blimpmedia, thanks for the response! Your suggestion was 100% correct but I could not work out why it would not work on my 2nd Mac. After spending about 40 minutes on hold with Apple Support I discovered that the version of OSX that I had on the 2nd computer (6.1.1) was not compatible with the latest App Store page view.
I have now downloaded the OSX update, the App Store page is now providing me the "download" option and is downloading FCPX it as I write this!

How do I get music onto my iphone 5c from my pc (with windows 7). I have itunes version 11.1.3 and I cant figure it out! I have done it before with my ipod touch 4th gen. a few months ago (and a few itunes versions ago) but I don't remember how and I'm sure it has changed. please help!!!!

in itunes make sure your menu bar is visable ( click the black and white squar in the top left corner > go to show menue bar)
click VIEW in the menu bar> chose "show sidebar"
then in the sidebar click on oyur device that will take you to the summary pane of your device
then at the top it will say summary info apps music movies ect...
click on MUSIC
then check the box beside of SYNC MUSIC
then check the option to sync entire music library
