How Do I Get POP To AutoCheck
I had the iPhone take m mail settings from my Mac Mail, but I cannot find where I can change how often the phone checks for new emails. Also, how do I set my Mac Client to mark all emails as read so I don't download them twice.

From the Home screen choose Settings > Mail > Auto-Check, then tap Manual, “Every 15 minutes,” “Every 30 minutes,” or “Every hour.”
You will need to scroll DOWN BELOW your accounts!

When I click on a link that opens a new firefox window, the new window shows a navigation toolbar that does not include the back, forward, stop, and home buttons (it only shows the internet address box). How do I get pop-ups to open in the same screen Firefox is on?
I have 3 monitors at work for the 10-15 programs/windows I need open all day. The problem is that my normal work requires a pop-up from our company's ticketing system, hosted on a website. That pop-up always occurs on the upper left-hand corner of the main display while Firefox is open on the second display. ***I'd like it to open in front of the current Firefox window*** instead of on a completely different display. How can I achieve this?
Before you say "Move Firefox to the main display", I'd like to add that I'm using Citrix for multiple other programs and it has the same annoying habit. I can't have them both on the same display since I need to see them both at once. I'm also trying to find a solution for Citrix doing this. How do I get pop ups to stop even with pop up blocker enabled?

Recently I have been getting all of these pop ups on my computer and they wont stop. My computer speed is still perfectly fine but the pop ups wont quit on my Safari and Google Chrome. I did download ClamXav app on the app store and its found a few trojans and has quarantined them and deleted them but I still have the pop ups, I also tried the Addblocker on Google and it has helped some but there are still Pop-Ups. I cant use the internet without any of these going away someone please please help meClick here and follow the instructions, or if they don't cover the type of adware on the computer, these ones. When Firefox blocks a popup a yellow bar should appear at the top of the content area of the window. See the screen shot here. <br />

If you are getting a different type of message you might have another popup blocker on that PC, like part of a Security Suite. If that is the case, you should turn-off that 2nd popup blocker and let Firefox do its' thing. -

You can change the incoming mail server for an email account by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts > select the account to change > under INCOMING MAIL SERVER select Host Name > enter the correct name.

I am unable to eliminate pop-ups. Firefox is opening every time with pop-up blocking disabled. I manually check the box and am good for that session, but blocking is disabled again when I open a new session. This is a new problem, as I have used Firefox for many years without pop-ups. It may be coincident with upgrading to Firefox 4. How can I get pop-up blocking to stick?!
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I accidentally clicked on "Don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked" when a pop up was blocked. How do I get this message to reappear again when a pop up is blocked?
I generally find pop ups annoying, but sometimes they are necessary to use certain websites properly. Now I can't get the information bar to come back when a pop up is blocked. How do I get it back?

Windows XPYou can see a pop-up block icon in the right corner of the Status Bar if you have chosen to hide the information bar at the top.
You can left-click that pop-up block icon on the Status Bar and remove the check mark from "Don't show info message when pop-ups are blocked"
You can look at these prefs on the '''about:config''' page and reset them via the right-click context menu:
Status bar icon: browser.popups.showPopupBlocker
Info bar at the top: privacy.popups.showBrowserMessage
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. -

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
You may have to create an Allow cookie exception for that server.

You probably have some kind of adware installed, assuming that your Mac is not actually running OS 9 or earlier (systems that date back to the 90s). I'm assuming that the forum choice was an error, as I doubt such an old system would even be capable of properly displaying modern websites. What version of Mac OS are you actually running? (Go to the Apple menu and choose About This Mac.)

How can i get my emails in the hotmail POP folder, to reload into Mac Mail?
On the hotmail page, it has the 'inbox/ but it also has a folder named POP. In this folder it saves months worth of emails, older than the ones in the regular inbox. I keep whats important and often refer back to the old ones in this POP folder. The hard drive failed on my macbook pro, so i lost all of the emails that i normally hold onto. Now that i have a new hard drive, i'm rebuilding my data, and would like to get the emails out of that POP folder to reload into my mac. I cannot find anyway to do this! All that loads into my mac mail, is new emails. Any idea how i can get these to load? There are 2000 of them, so resending each one isn't really an option!!!

How do I get rid of the pop-up on my ipad2 that wants me to login to iCloud for an account i changed to a new userid?
It is an iPad 2, 64GB, with wifi and 3G, running the latest iOS 8.1.2, with 43.7 GB available. I am not using the cloud. Everything I need is backed up, so loss of the information on this device is not critical.
About 2 years ago I canceled this account and created a new one when I abandoned my road runner email and change to gmail. Tech support talked me through the transition then and it is fine on all my devices (iPhone, Mac-mini, Macbook Air) except the iPad 2, which i use the most. The same thing happened to my mothers iPad 3 a few months ago, with the same repeating pop-up after changing email/appleid accounts), Apple support helped me restore hers, but mine is no longer a covered device.
This issue started about a year ago, I can cancel the pop-up but it continues to returns, it went away for a few months, then somewhere in the last few months it started happening daily, now it cycles through about every 5 - 15 seconds. Can't do anything, I have reset the iPad 2 all that did was delete my existing settings, it will not accept the old password all I can do is cancel it (until it returns again).
Need the directions to delete the old appleid and accept the new applied on this device.Does this apply?

I just updated my iPhone with the newest update IOS 6.1. My old Apple ID keeps popping up on my iPhone for me to type in the password that I no longer know. All the passwords I type in do not work. I no longer have access to this email which is my old Apple ID. After installing the newest software update my old Apple ID came up to finish configuring. Since I no longer have access to this Apple ID and email account and after trying some passwords I skipped the step. It then said FaceTime, iCloud (which I do not use), and more may not work. I clicked that it was OK since I could not remember the password to my old Apple ID. I then went to my settings to be sure my newer email was my Apple ID by typing in my current Apple ID and password. Also, I went to Manage my Apple ID online and my old Apple ID could not be found. Is it OK I skipped that step in the IOS 6.1 configuration? How do I get my old Apple ID to stop popping up?

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up. Did you back-up just before your software update? It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.
