How do I get QuickTime 7.1 to plug in to Firefox?

I need help finding out how to get the latest Quick Time Player Version 7.1 to work with my Mozilla Firefox browser. While using the Firefox browser, when I installed the Quick Time Player Version 7.1, it completed successfully without any error messages. On web sites, the Quick-time compatible images display OK in Internet Explorer, but in Mozilla Firefox the images show only the faint blue "Q" with a question mark inside. How can I get Quick Time to plug into my Firefox browser correctly?

i had same problem it is probably a flash file showing Q when going to website
first go to mime setting in quicktime make sure flash files arent ticked in miscellaneous and images mime types
if they are an tick them then you have to delete pluginreg file in firefox application data folder its usaully in
C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox
that file will be recreated next time firefox is open

As I am not an HTML programmer, I did not check the page coding but had no problem playing any of the video content on the linked page using the Safari browser. Spot checked the source files and found them to be typical MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) files with a frame rate of 30 fps using CABAC entropy Main Profile Level 3.0 (SD) and Level 3.1 (HD) encodings in MOV file containers. As to audio, only one file—Video+(1).MOV (the "Raven, Salma and Kenneth" Claymation Practice file)—contained an AAC (LC) audio track. Except for the use of capitalized extensions (which I don't think should cause a problem), the videos themselves look standard and should be playable on any system using any compatible media or plug-in players that support standard MPEG-4 content and the MOV file container.

I bought quicktime pro 7 a couple of years ago and have a registration code. At the time I used the program to make some time lapse movies. I'd like to make a couple of time lapse movies again but quicktime pro 7 is no where to be found. This probably ha something to do with updating the os between then and now. The question is how can I get quicktime pro 7 running again? The unlocking instructions I have for quicktime pro 7 that I received with the key do not correspond with what the system preferences now show. Any assistance would be appreciated. I am currently running OS X version 10.9.5 on an older iMac.

Prior to Logic 9, you cannot separately choose Input/Output audio devices, so you either have the USB Mic, or the Built-in audio (or an external audio interface).
To set up for 'mixed' devices, you need to use AudiMIDI Setup (Utilities folder) to create an Aggregate Device.

I finally got the quicktime to download and I also downloaded itunes but it won't work right. If so, Mozilla will be changing it with another image in the future; I don't know when, though. For now, you have a few options:
* Set Google/Bing/etc. as your homepage so that you won't see the Start Page when Firefox launches.
* Use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish/?src=userprofile Stylish] extension to remove the image.
