Could you explain a little more what you are trying to do. Are you trying to play an inbuilt iTunes radio station or one of your own. You cannot add your own radio stations.

Yes, there are VIs for acquiring data from Sound cards. And examples too. If you don't have LabVIEW yet, do a search on NI's site for example VIs.

How can I get rid of annoying sounds?

I just received my first iPhone. I like it, however, there are two annoying sounds/noises that I cannot seem to turn-off. The first sound is what appears to be a "baby laughter" every time I send out a text. I have all sounds turned off on the texting and it is still there. The second sound is every time I want to put the iPhone in a sleep mode with the button on the top of device, I get what appears to sound like a "camera click." I would appreciate some input in getting rid of these two sounds.

There is not an option to disable the alert sound when a text is successfully sent.
To disable the click sound, go to Settings > Sounds > Lock Sounds > Off.

How do I get the guitar to sound good?

I'm trying to get the settings right so that I can have a heavy metal electric guitar. I can get it to sound close, with the Amp Simulation -> American Overdrive effects, but it sounds too "rough". To make things more complicated: I "drowned" my iphone last summer and got a new one (also an i phone 4) in November. if you want Lenovo's version of the Windows 8, you would need to call the Lenovo Service support in your country.
If you want generic Windows 8 version then you need to get the disc from somewhere (i.e. friend) or purchase it.

I've setup evoc according to the manual,
and I get it to vocode,
but it doesn't sound very 'robotic',
at least not compared to Kraftwerk.

e.g. what evoc ps sound should I use,
how should I change the default parameters,

The trick here is to go low, and monophonic (don't play chords). What you are after is basically a one-wave osc as your synth sound to be used in the evoc. Straight up square or saw wave played low in pitch with an open filter should give you the results you are looking for. Mess about with the formant width and shift to get it timbraly where you want. I've noticed that the evoc can be a little quiet, so you may need to boost the signal a bit.

Are we talking about a big production, professional CD here, or your one-off home burned CD that you're giving to a friend?

If we're talking major production here, read about how to submit CD information to Gracenote -- this isn't intended to be used for your once-off home CD. If it is a home CD there isn't an easy way to get it to the other computers unless you transfer your CD database file to theirs (and wipe theirs out in the process).
You may read about CDtext, but although iTunes can produce a CDtext, it cannot itself read it even if it can make it.

Once the clips are in your project, you can add VO or music or SFX or anything else over a clip by dragging the audio files to the approximate place you want them over the clip. You can then move that sound to be where you want it. To mute the recorded sound of a clip, you can select the clip and either push Command Shift M, which will mute the clip, or double click on the clip and use the audio slider in the pop up window.
