How do I get refunded for getting charged double for an in-app purchase?

I bought an in-app purchase for Motion-x GPS drive and go got charged twice. How do I get refunded for this? Whenever I click report a problem it refers me to some page saying something about the latest version of iTunes. I have a Mac with ML and I already have the latest version downloaded. I was wondering how do I fix this?

    You can contact iTunes and ASK for a refund. Then make make an exception to their all sale are final policy.

    In the future set the restrictions so that in-app purchases are prohibited and that a password is always required.

    First, make sure that you or someone did not inadvertently make an in-app purchase. Many apps, particularly games, are free for the base game but charge for additional features such as levels, "coins" and other such add-ons. Check your Purchase History to see if that reminds you as to what you might have purchased:

    As to a refund, that's not automatic since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

    They're usually pretty lenient in the case of inadvertent purchases, but there are no guarantees.
    If the charges are not in-app purchases that you made and forgot but the charges do appear in your Purchase History, contact the iTunes Store and let them know. If the charges don't appear in your Purchase History, they were probably fake charges made directly to your credit card, and your card issuer will need to handle those.

  • Charged double for BT broadband

    I just found out I have been charged double the amount for the BT broadband for the past year. 
    I have found the email confirmation from BT with the price agreed but they said they have to listen to the calls and investigate. Does anyone know how long their investigation lasts? I heard some really bad stories. 
    If I have thir email confirmation with the price agreed and when my contract started, so what do they need to investigate? for me everything is very clear. I just think they dont want to pay back. 
    In the meantime I am still being overcharged.

    I have been making in-app purchases with PayPal for over a year. Now I cannot. I changed my payment method to Credit card, but still can't. I can purchase music in itunes but no game purchases. My ID was disabled after a paypal dispute but after an entire evening on the phone with support and security, that was resolved. Any suggestions? If I have to spend more time on the phone with support, I will. But I would rather not.

    Those are most likely authorization holds and they will eventually fall off the account without charging you any money.

  • How to get a replacement AC charger & cable for a new Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini

    I've had my new Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini for a few days.  Last night I plugged in the phone's wall charger and cable to charge.  The following message appeared on the screen: To charge faster use the charger and cable provided with this phone.  I did use the charger and cable that was shipped with the phone.  Then the charging indicator under the Settings menu changed from charging to not charging several times.  I noticed that the plug into the phone was a little loose.

    I called the number to see about getting a new cable and wall charger.  I was offered a free medical alert necklace if I was older than 50, and then I was told that I had won a free cruise and was asked about personal info such as social #.  I never did get to speak to anyone about the problems I am having with my charger. 
    So, I'm hoping I get two things resolved with this post.
    I need a new cable and wall adapter to charge my new phone.
    I would like someone to know that the cable that came with my new phone has a black tag on it with a phone number.  And when called, they ask for personal information in exchange for a free cruise on a ship.

    If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent purchase is above the list). I'm not sure if auto-renewing subscriptions show on there.
