I have imput information into reminders on my ipad2 but they do not appear on my iphone4. What am I doing wrong?

Who is email provider? What sort of email account is it - POP3, IMAP or Exchange? POP3 will work like this as with that whoever first downloads the latest mail from the server deletes it from there and so it's unavailable to other mail clients on other devices.
Either switch your email account to IMAP or change your POP3 account's settings so the new mails are not deleted for some time (a week, a month or whatever) after first download and are thus available to other devices also (IMAP is best solution but if POP3 is all that's available from whoever your provider is then you'll have to live with POP's limitations).

I cannot get iBooks to sync between my iPhone 4 & IPad

After reinstalling iBooks on my iPhone and iPad, I still cannot get them to sync between one another via ios5. Syncing is even on in settings on both devices.

I'm having a similar problem. None of my music from my CDs is syncing and it gets stuck on the "waiting for changes to be applied" stage. It's also rendered some music already on my iPod unplayable, but not deleted it. It just skips through it quickly when I click on it.
I don't have many suggestions for help, none have worked for me, but some people say maybe try and restore from a past back up? It could iron out any bugs in the newest updates. Didn't work for me, but worked for others. If you look through the fourm though, you'll find loads od people with similar problems to ours and more problems. Apple really need to sort there sh*t out.

I have a recurring invitation on my iphone and ipad devices that I cannot get rid of. I made it disappear on my imac, I was able to delete it from the google calendar that was syncing also. I dumped the google calendar. Now it appears in the icloud calendar and there is no option to dump it. It goes on recurring every 2 weeks forever. I would like to get rid of it permanently.

How do I turn off podcast syncing between my iPhone and iTunes on my MacBook Pro?

Hi all.
So yeah... updated my iTunes today (along with the rest of the Mavericks OS X Update Version 10.9.3) and now all the podcasts I subscribe to on my iPhone have shown up in the Podcasts section of iTunes.
Very nice of you, Apple, but I don't want them on my computer. I don't listen to them on my computer. I listen to them on my iPhone. So I'd love to find out how to turn off this mystery syncing if anyone has any insight.

In iTunes on the desktop open the preferences & look in the 'Store tab'.
There is a checkbox for sync podcast subscriptions, disable that & see if it helps.
It isn't clear if this syncing is part of iTunes & iOS syncing (why isnt it under the device section of iTunes?), iCloud or via an app store account.
It looks like it is a feature of the App store - but I don't recollect ever signing into the store in the podcasts app?!

I can't seem to get my iCloud working between my iPhone and iPad

My wife and I recently purchased (in This order) an iPad, then 2 iPhones, then a second iPad. My iCloud on my devices is working fine. We are having trouble getting my wife's to work. I checked again, and was sure I had done what I was supposed to do to set hers up. She had her iPhone for a week or so before we got her iPad. We may have registered the phone with one Apple ID, and the pad with another. How can we get the two in sync?

So the problem we are working on is just your wife's iPhone nad iPad right?
It sounds like you have a pretty good handle on the detailed screens.
I think the key is to log out of your devices and then sign back in with only ONE ID on each device.
Let's start with
1. Settings
2. Itunes and Apps stores
3. Tap on the Apple ID (willlook like your wife's id).
4. Tap sign out
5. Enter your preferred Apple id and password
6. Tap sign in
7. Check Settings> iCloud... should be the correct iCloud Id now (and greyed out)
Do this on each device.....

First things to check is to make sure iCloud is on on both devices and you are signed I n to the same account on each device. Also check to make sure Contacts syncing is on on both devices.

How do I get iPhoto to sync between my iMac and PowerBookPro?

I'm trying to sync the iPhoto libraries with 700-800 photos each, many of them duplicates, on my iMac and my MacBookPro. And I'm not finding a way to do that. Apparently the Cloud only syncs them if I use Aperture, which I don't want to do. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks

When creating a Card on one device and saving it as a draft, will it sync via iCloud to other devices too? Same question for already purchased (sent) Cards?

My problem was that I had NOTES generated before I began using iCloud, so they were associated with a different email address that was set-up as a POP3 account and was not tied to my apple ID. As soon as I created a new IMAP account on both devices for that same email address the NOTES sync'd immediately.
You can see the email account that the NOTES are associated with by tapping on the ACCOUNTS button in the upper left of the NOTES screen.

Hello all, I have a firtst gen iPad (running iOS5.1.1). I using my Apple ID to run iMessege on it. Recently, I bought iPhone 5 (2 month ago) running iOS 6.1.3. I sing up to iMessage using Apple ID but start new converstion from my phone number as caller ID. Somehow only 1 conversion syncs between my iPhone and my iPad. Recently it stop. So I start looking for answers. I want to sync my all converstions, I found that I can set phone number as Caller ID on an iPad but I can't found how. I will apreciate if anyone will put some light on how iMessage works.
I still want that my caller ID will be my phone number cause I don't want to make 2 separte thread on the one who get my message.
If I set my email as caller ID so when I'll send a text message from my phone it will make a seperate thread converstion from me on the device of the person I send the text to.

When I did that, my iMessage between my iPhone and iPad are no longer synced. No matter how many times I went to settings, messages and adjusted it, my iPad and iPhone recognize when I send a message out but not when I received a message from another IMessage user to my iPhone. My iPad simply doesn't get those messages. HELP!!!!

If it's corrupt, generally it would be lost.
However, there is third-party software out there that can retrieve some of the data, those of which however I could not recommend as I have never done so myself.
Also, if the old 4S was running a more recent software version than the current 4S, that may cause the issue however usually iTunes tells you exactly that.
Good luck in retrieving that information.
