  • Where can I get replacement rubber feet for Macbook Pro 2009?

Does anyone know where I can get the black rubber feet that go on the bottom of a Macbook Pro (2009)?
I have checked with Apple stores and they said they don't have them.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Courcoul, greeting friend;  Might not those feet subject the MBP to high altitude sickness?
Ha ha! Then my MBP, sitting on top of a RoadTools CoolPad with a 3/4" rise in the rear in addition to that afforded by the Speck hard shell's integrated feet, will surely die of oxygen deprivation...

  • Is there anywhere in the UK i can get replacement rubber feet for my 2009 macbook pro?

You can get them from any Apple Store or any Apple Authorized Reseller or Repair Centre.
I had to replace the bottom feet of my late 08 Macbook Uni and went to an Apple Store in my area and they just gave it to me.  Mind you, not all Apple Stores will give it to you for free.
    Good luck

  • Does anyone sell replacement rubber feet for Macbook pro?

Replacement rubber feet for MBP unibody. This might sort the issue with the wobble I have.

This is what I sent. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for the input.
    Mr. Cook,
I've been a loyal customer for a decade. Recently three of the four plastic/rubber feet fell off of the bottom of my mid-2009 2.8 GHz MBP S/N W89XXXXXXYB. I called the Apple Store I use most often, Aspen Grove in Littleton, CO. I described the problem to a genius. They told me that they would have replacement feet waiting available at the Genius Bar within a week or so at no charge.
I went to the Aspen Grove Store on Wednesday, December 14, to pick up the feet. I met with a young lady named Kacy. She first told me that she would get the feet for me. She then told me that I had to bring my computer in and a genius would install the feet. Then she went in the back for a few minutes, came out and told me that the feet were not available. She said that I needed a whole new bottom piece, but that it would be covered. Kacy went in the back again, came and told me that the bottom wouldn't be covered after all, that my only option was to pay $186 for a new bottom piece.
About that time the business pro, Greg, came up. After hearing the problem he told Kacy that Apple could cover the bottom piece. They then conferred for a few moments, went back in to the back of the store and returned a few minutes later once again reneging on the offer to replace the bottom piece.
I had an appointment, so I voiced my displeasure with Greg and Kacy about being treated like a Yo-yo.
When I had time later in the evening, I called the Aspen Grove store and asked for the store manager. Instead I was directed to a manager on duty (I think), Hailey. I attempted to explained the situation to Hailey, but she continued to interrupt me, characterize Apple employees offers to take care of the problem and then renege on those offers as a "misunderstanding."  She was completely intractible and began to take on a tone of taunting me about the situation. Exasperated, I ended the call.
Hoping for a different experience, I went to the Briargate store in Colorado Springs on 12/26. Instead, I received a whole lot of "so what," shoulder shrugging and indifference from the employees there.
Sir, I understand that things wear out and break, but it cannot by Apple's position that the only way to replace three plastic feet that maybe cost 50 cents is by buying a $186 replacement part, can it?
The position and attitude of your employees in this matter is such a sea change from the exemplerary customer service I've previously seen that I'm struggling to understand what's changed at Apple. An ipad 3, iphone 5, new laptops for my wife and I and a desktop workstation are all on the wish list for my growing photography business in 2012, but I'm sure you can understand my new found reticence at purchasing more Apple products if this is the way I will be treated.
Thank you for your time and attention in this matter.

  • How do I get replacement restore discs

how do I get replacement restore discs for a 15" MBP 2010 dual core i7 2.66
    thanks

You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.

  • LOST MY FCP INSTALLATION DISCS, HOW DO I GET REPLACEMENTS

I have lost my FCP 5.1 installation discs. How do I get replacements?
    Thanks

You could try your insurance company - assuming you have your other kit insured against loss/damage.
OK, it's probably a long shot, unless you specifically have "FCP Discs" mentioned on your policy.
Maybe there's a warning to us all with a livelihood depending on software just as much as hardware. Try and put the software on the policy.

  • Replacing Rubber Feet

Hello,  I recently got some work done on my laptop as my charging port was damage. There was also some cosmetic damage to the side my laptop. (I didn't know that was covered under warranty, so I was impressed)  Anyway in order to access the casing they must have removed one of the rubber feet to access the screws. When I got it back from the HP Repair centre, one of the rubber feet kept coming off and I kept sticking it back on but it just wasn't for staying.  So today its came off somewhere and I cannot find it, I've been on the move a lot today so I wouldn't really know where to find it, for all I know its dropped and stuck onto something else and because its not something you generally notice unless you look I never noticed until now.  Anyway I read in this thread: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Hardware-Upgrades-Replacements/Missing-Rubber-feet-on-my-laptop/td-p/4143386 that you can get them from the HP Parts store, so I went there and entered my product number and No Results. I enter my Serial Number and No Results. I enter my product name and...you guessed it - No Results.  Serial number: CND441BFVYProduct number: K6C60EA#ABU If anyone could give me any advice on getting replacement feet I'd greatly appreciate it.

  • How do I get replacement CD for iLife '11?

Hi. I got a new MBP and I transfered files from my old MBP by doing a restore from Time Machine. Unfortunately that wipes out the iLife '11 that came with the new MBP. How do I get a replacement CD to reinstall iLife '11? Thank you.

    reinstall from the original source
    Could be
1 - the restore disks that came with the computer - if it came with CDs and you do not know where they are then contact Apple to see if they can be replaced
    or
2 - the iLife DVD that you purchased
    or
3 - the app store - log in under the Apple id used to purchase the software or to set up the computer - look under purchases - you might have to unhide or accept the Application first

  • Replacement rubber feet for MU09 battery

A rubber foot on the MU09 battery that came with my computer is missing.  Can anyone point me to a replacement part, preferably with an HP part number?
Note that the rubber feet I am looking for are for the battery itself, not the computer.  The MU09 battery has two circular rubber feet about 0.9mm in diameter.

I'm always buying old laptops on ebay and fixing them up and they are always missing the rubber feet.  I went to a pool supply place and bought a set of rubber feet for outdoor steps. I cut them to size and glue them on with automotive trim adhesive.  That's probably overkill for you for one foot, but look around your house at tabletop appliances like small fans or lamps or something you might have sitting around that you don't need anymore and see if it has rubber feet on it. You could cut the rubber to size and glue it on the battery.
    Just an idea.

You will have to work with the authorized service centers in India. Why did the service center you contacted say that they could not help you?

Some of the little rubber black feet are missing off the bottom of my pismo and cause it to slide and move then typing, does anyone know where I might order replacements over the internet as i'm in the UK.
    Thanks

You may be able to find some replacements in a hardware store. That's what I did. They won't be the "official Apple" ones, but they will work and will be a LOT cheaper. The ones you buy should have a self-stick adhesive.

  • How can I get replacement fans?

My upper right fan (cpu fan) is noisey and I want to replace it. Apple's web site lists it as a user replaceable part, but I just called Apple's help line and was told that since I was over the ninety day point that there wasn't a way that I could order them from Apple.
I have read on this forum that some people have ordered these items from the Apple store. Will someone please tell me HOW?
I know that I could take it to the local Apple store, but I'm an old man and this thing is too heavy for me to lug thru the mall. This is a part I've replaced many times on my PCs, why can't I do the same on my iMac G5 Rev A?

    Jose,
Thank you for the reply. On the 20" Rev A the cpu fan is on the upper right of the machine. This is confusing because Apple calls the cpu fan on the 17" the bottom fan.
The 20" cpu fan is removable, and user replaceable according to the Apple web site. I went to the local apple store today and spoke to one of the gurus there. He said that they could not order it for me, or sell it to me, but would be happy to replace the fans if I brought it in. I guess that's the only choice I have. I guess in the future the smaart move for me and other Florida residents is to buy apple machines from someplace like CompUSA who WILL sell me their two year warrantee extension which is in home service. I truly wish that Apple and the state of Florida would get together and solve this squabble. It leaves us consumers caught in the middle.
