I deleted an email address for iCloud but I still get a pop up to sign into the Apple account with the deleted email address. how do I stop the Apple sign in pop up. I established a New email and password for my apple account but need to get rid of the old account pop up.

I keep having this advertising bar pop up. I have followed all instructions to get rid of it. I have uninstalled it and selected disable ads. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 3 times. This is only happening with Firefox. Now, I am not showing the InfoAtoms in the programs, but it is apparently still there hijacking my Firefox every time I open it. I use Firefox for a class, but I am getting very frustrated with this advertising bar. Please help me get rid of it.

I reset Firefox to its default (see Firefox Help), and then in Control Panel of Windows uninstalled InfoAtom itself, as well as a couple of other questionable items that were installed without my knowledge at the same time. In Control Panel, it doesn't give you an option to uninstall, but you'll get to it by clicking on "Change." I tried disabling it through Firefox first, but that did not work. This way I know it's gone, gone, gone! And it really does seem to be gone.
In case InfoAtom is still watching this thread, my feedback is thus: My problem with InfoAtoms was that it was somehow installed without my knowledge, under the radar of my anti-virus, which should have asked me if I wanted to allow changes from that company. Then I started noticing all the ads, which I dislike. Then that there needs to be a message board on how to get rid of it. Fooling with this took some real time out of my morning.

Use the Settings app to sign out of the old ID and sign in with the new one.
Settings > iTunes and App Store > tap on the Apple ID > Sign Out > then sign in with the correct Apple ID.
Not that all apps purchased or downloaded with the old Apple ID will require the old ID and password in order to be updated. To avoid this delete all apps associated with the old ID and download them again with the new ID. Be aware that you will most likely lose data associated with deleted apps and you will have to pay again for any apps that have a fee.

Upon sending mail I always get a pop up box saying unable to contact server so I have to click okay.
Often I think an email has gone - only to find it stuck in drafts days later. This is extremely annoying ... mostly I have to wait around and after maybe 5 minutes check my sent box just to be sure it actually went. Even though I heard the whoosh ... doesn't seem to mean it really did go.

This music must be from itunes on his computer--we use a common account. I have manage music manually checked, I never sync to itunes. All of the unwanted music has little clouds with arrows on it. Go in Settings. Then in "Itunes & AppStore". Deselect "Music" and "Videos" on top. This would solve the problem with the Music and Videofiles in the cloud, that you seem to see.
The music isn't actually on your iphone. It just shows you what is in the cloud.

You don't want to get rid of, it's a security feature. If someone steals your Mac, all that account permits is Safari access, no other access to the computer. This enables you to locate your Mac.

How can I get rid of a corrupt iCloud iPad backup?

I have a backup of my iPad 3rd genereation in my iCloud account. Every time I attempt to delete it from either my mav, iPad, or iPhone, i get the following message:
"Cannot delete backup. This backup cannot be deleted because it is in use."
I have tried the following method with no success:
Tap Settings, and then tap the iCloud icon
Tap Storage & Backup.
Tap Manage Storage.
Tap your iOS device in the Backups area.
Tap Delete Backup.
You will be asked to confirm this change. Deleting this backup will also turn off Backup of your iOS device. Choose Delete if you want to turn off Backup and remove all backups for this iOS device from iCloud.

Well, folks, I determined the culprit here.
I failed to mention that I had, at one point, updated to a beta version of iOS 7 to try it out. I made an iCloud backup apparently while I was using it. When I then decided to revert to iOS 6.1.3 (the current iOS) apparently it was trying to draw from a version of iOS that was not yet releases (aka didn't exist to the public).
I had to re-install iiOS 7 and delte the back up then reinstall iOS 6.1.13 and restore from a backup i made just before I started the process.
It is possible that trying to delete any icloud backup for newer versions of iOS from an older one could be an issue.
Thank you all for the suggestions. Please use this thread to spread the word if the issue affects anyone else.
