I keep getting a pop up in a Firefox window called Hair Spa. It is extremely annoying and happens just about every time I open Firefox.

How do i get rid of click to call

Whenever I try to uninstall this crappy program I get an error message
"there is a problem with this windows installer package. a script required for this install to complete could not be run. contact your support personnel or package vendor."
I've had this happen before (it always installs wrong) and somehow I figured out how to get rid of it but for the life of me I can't remember how I did it. Disabling the plug-in on the chrome toolbar does absolutely nothing.

How do I get rid of "Yahoo! Search - Web Search" that comes up in address bar every time I click on a new tab? I have to delete it in order to go to the site I want. Very annoying. I can not find it in program file.

Got this fixed.
I deleted Yahoo as a search engine.
To do this: on the right hand side of a toolbar there is a pull down menu which contains "manage search engines". Select this and remove "Yahoo".
BTW: the "Tools" - "Options" - "remove hardware acceleration.. " did not work.

I need help to get rid of mackeeperapp popup. Since approx. 2 weeks it opens whenever I use google search machine after I chosen a topic there. Then the website of mackeeper opens up in a new window trying to persuade you to download their programme. My husband uses the IPad to read and play card games. How do we get rid of those annoying pop up ads while he's playing cards. Specifically Hearts and Solitaire. Pop ups will appear when dealing another hand. Sometimes the entire screen goes black except for one tiny little x that we have to click numerous times before the fame comes back. he really gets frustrated and i cant help him. Any suggestions?

How do I get rid of the blank space at the bottom of the new Firefox menu?

The new firefox 4 has a different menu system. IT has blank space at the bottom wiht just a plus sign that opens new tabs. I can get that from the + sign by the tabs and don't want it or the rest of the blank space on the bar. I need all the space in the main window I can get. How do I get rid of this?
Found my own answer, disable Conduit Engine toolbar, whatever the heck that is. Why it's enabled to start with is beyond me.

These are unrelated questions/statements.
Space before and space after a paragraph are controled in the Text Inspector, as you've found out.
Pages will create a page break whenever there is no room for another line on the page. That break can come anywhere in a paragraph.
You may be thinking of Widow and Orphan prevention, and the other Pagination controls, found under the More button in the Text Inspector. (If that's what you found, then thanks for the refresher! I hadn't been to that pane for awhile, and had forgotten the variety of pagination controls available.

I just updated Skype from a really old version. I am now using version 7.5.0.102 (Windows 7).
Now there's all this irrelevant crap on the right side that makes it take up almost half the width of my screen. How do I get rid of it?
I tried resizing the window but it has a minimum size set.
I tried looking around through the menus and options too but couldn't find any. I selected "compact sidebar view" but it didn't get rid of the part on the right.
How do I make the right side of that window go away?

I figured it out.
If you pick View -> Split Window View it will break it off into its own window. Then you can close it and it goes away.
An X in the corner of that area or a hide option in the menu would be convenient.

I am using windows 7. For the last few weeks, almost every time I click on a website I get a survey popup. I've tried all the normal ways to get rid of them, but still they popup. I've downloaded Spybot and Malwarebytes, and still no good. How can I stop them?

There is a commonality about this particular irritant which allows it to pick up the name from any site visited and insert it into it's psuedo 'Survey'. I don't have the answer any more than you do, but i'm not pretending that I have any solution - I don't.. Neither do you.

Simply put every time I try to open a page Firefox always pops up a warning box that says do I want to allow FF to open this page or some other such nonsensical idiocy! That seems to work for when I run the page through the iSupplier portal. However I noticed during development when I am testing the page on my computer, I am still getting this message? Sometimes you need apache bounce to make sure the profile option change come into effect.
