How do i get rid of a scroll bar in the middle of everything?

I have what "it" calls a black Scroll Bar in the middle of the screen. How do I get rid of it?

How do I get rid of a timer symbol in the middle of my screen ?

Someone please tell me how to get rid of this timer symbol that stays in the middle of my screen ever since I installed the HP software for my Deskjet F2280 printer, this symbol still appears when I close the software and/or disconnect my printer and its really annoying at times and I thank anyone who helps me with this.

How do I get rid of a blank bar between the Title Toolbar and the Navigation Toolbar?

It's taking up a lot of space!

Are there any toolbars listed that might cause this?

Do you happen to use a USB modem or something like that? This could be the cause.
You could try creating a new network location to see if that fixes it (if not you can just reverse it)
1. Go to  Menu -> System Preferences
2. Then go to Network on the 3rd row
3. Make sure the padlock is unlocked (bottom left) with your admin password
4. Choose 'Automatic' next to 'Location' at the top.
5. Choose 'Edit Locations'
6. Then click the + button, and create a new one called home/test/somethingorother
7. Click Done -> Save and wait a few seconds
8. You may have to reconnect to your Wi Fi network etc.
If you have a USB modem, the above steps will most likely remove its config from the Network preferences. As I said, its reversable (just change location back to automatic)

I have created a dynamic WD table using cl_wd_dynamic_tool=>create_table_from_node and then I restricted the number of lines to 1 by setting the 'Set_Row_Count' and 'Set_Visible_Row_Count' = 1. But still when I run the application I see a vertical scroll bar which looks very awkward for only 1 line. How do I get rid of this vertical scroll bar ?

Is your table under any transparent container. have you set any scroll mode for this.
One more thing, have you used SER SCROLLABLE COL COUNT property.Also is this property set firstVisibleScrollableCol.

How do you get rid of yellow triangular with ! in middle that appear against some of my bookmarks on my bookmark toolbar?

I have yellow triangles next to some of my icons in my bookmarks and bookmark toolbar. They have an exclamation mafrk in them. It probably happens when there is difficulty connecting to them. But they hang around. How do you get rid of them even when the bookmark works fine? I have FF 4.0 on a Snow Leopard Mac.

This issue can be caused by a plugin or an extension that is not compatible with Firefox 3.6 and isn't working properly anymore.

How do I get rid of ZoneAlarm search engine in the address bar and middle-of-page search box?

I downloaded ZoneAlarm firewall. It has you install Chrome and choose its search engine when you download. I'd heard these were easily removed afterward. I reset Google in the upper right search bar.
Now Firefox starts OK, but each time I use a tab to open another window the ZoneAlarm search is in the address bar and the center search box, and Google search is in the upper right search bar. How can I get rid of all ZoneAlarm search everywhere?
I have the latest version of Firefox and Windows 8.1.

You can check if you have the ZoneAlarm search engine file in the browser\searchplugins folder in the Firefox program or in the searchplugins folder in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

How do I get rid of "Download Status Bar: Anti-virus failed to start, check configuration?

This appears when I try to download, say Adobe Flash Player; I "X" it, or "OK" it, and i get no download. This anti-virus scan thing, I think, is left over from a much earlier version of Firefox and I don't know how to get rid of it. Previous to the last four or five months or so, I could X or OK it and still get my download, but no longer.

I was able to get rid of this problem by opening the options for the add-on "Download Statusbar 0.9.8" (Tools>Add-ons and select Extensions). In the Options form select the final tab labeled "Virus Scan", and de-select "Manually scan completed downloads". Alternatively, select this option but ensure the path in the "Anti-virus program location" correctly points to a valid anti-virus executable (I did not test this). Hope this helps...

Sorry I can't help you myself, I am still using Firefox 28 while I try to Customize the 29-plus versions without resorting to using CTR. I have tried it, but I prefer doing my own "cobbles" rather than rely upon an extension that "restores" much what I didn't like about Firefox 4.0 thru 28 and overrides what I do like about Australis. IOW, CTR 'fixes' things about 90% opposite of what I would do, if I had the talent to do a "retro extension".

Does the name mp3rocket ring a bell?? It may be related to a browser add-on. You could check for and possibly disable or remove such an add-on here:

Try both the Plugins and Extensions categories.
If it doesn't seem related to an add-on, perhaps it's something added by a Wordpress plugin, or your blog theme. If you provide a link to your blog, a volunteer here could take a look and see whether they get the same text.
