I have adware on my Mac Laptop that has OS 10.6.8 operating system.
AdMedic needs 10.7 or later.
I am looking at The Safe Mac website for answers.
Any others I should visit?

Unfortunately you need OS X 10.7 (Lion) or above to use AdMedic or it's successor today AdwareMedic. Best bet today for Snow Leopard users would be to use the older Adware Removal Tool from the same author, but he's not planning to update it in the future.

It depends on which browser you're using to surf the web.
If you're using Safari then open up safari, select "Safari" from the menu bar (hint: Next to the apple logo on top left corner of the screen) and go to preferences.
Then go to the security tab - show cookies - remove all.
You can get rid of individual cookies as well if you want to specifically delete a particular one.
You can get rid of all the browsing history and all the temporary data by selecting safari from the menu bar, select reset safari, make sure all options are selected and hit OK.
You're good to go!

Just go to your iTuens preferrences and disable sharing.

Use Google and find some other unofficial copy. This is not supported by Apple (downgrading that is) and purely at your own risk. If you end up with one that has spyware, etc., it will be entirely your problem.

No idea what BTFON is or what "service provider" you mean, or what you mean by saying that it "takes over everything". Is this a wireless network that you wish to stop connecting to? If so, open System Preferences, click Network, then select AirPort, then click the Advanced button, then select the AirPort tab. In the list that appears, select BTFON and click the '-' button.
If that's not what you're talking about, you'll need to be more specific.

You can always finish the downloads in iTunes on your computer and then the TV Shows to the iPad. Launch iTunes and go to Store>Check for available downloads. Finish the downloads and then sync the iPad.
As far as trying to finish the downloads on the iPad .....
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again.

I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Open the Sharing pane in System Preferences. If the Computer Name is not set, enter a name. You may first have to click the lock icon in the lower left corner and authenticate to unlock the settings.
