How do i get rid of an error dj_sf_software keeps telling me its on a network resource thats unavailable? Ive uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. I had a previous all in one printer set-up which I uninstalled before installing my deskjet d 1420 printer. I cant get rid of the error message ... : (

Can you manually "google" to the homepage? If so, then the homepage is OK, just re-save the homepage as your default page in Internet Options by selecting "use current".

When I double-click on the Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 desktop icon,

I did deactivate, uninstall, and reinstall the program. Still got this message.
When I click OK the error message flickers, then reappears. I click again, same thing. 3rd click, the message disappears and the Organizer opens.
I can get Elements 8 to open, but why this message first, and is there a way to either download the missing file or just get rid of the message?

In the Network pane of System Prefences, do you have duplicate services on the left column? When you "set it up again", you might have duplicated a service and both (the good working one and the previous that lost connection) might be trying to connect at the same time.
