How do I get rid of an ugly white line around areas of type?

Hello InDesign forum,
Attached is a screenshot of a pdf file I created of a brochure I designed.
Actually, it's just one panel of that brochure. In that panel there are unsightly white lines that appear around areas of type.
I have yet to find a way to get rid of them, and I'm not sure what causes them.
The brochure started out as an InDesign CS5 file and then I converted it to a .pdf file so it would be print-ready for PSPrint, Alpha Graphics, or a similar printing facility.
Any advice you can share about what is causing these lines, and how to get rid of them, would be very helpful and much appreciated. Thanks!

It is one of two things. Either the frames actually have a stroke applied to them, or they have some sort of transparency effect and you are flattening the transparency in the PDF and these are transparency flattening artifacts called "stitching." From the screen capture it looks as if it might even be both -- stroked frames onthe white type at the top, and stitching around the yellow type.
If it's a stroke, set the stroke color to [None]. To eliminate stitching export to Acrobat 5 or higher compatibilty to keep the transparency live. Stitching doesn't usually show up in press output, but it may in lower-resolution digital prints.

Mozilla shows snippets on the about:home page to run different campaigns and that changes regularly.
If you prefer not to see snippets on the about:home page or if there are problems with a snippet then you can set the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref to an empty string on the about:config page.
Delete the storage\persistent\moz-safe-about+home folder in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed ("3-bar" Firefox menu button > Exit/Quit) to remove snippets stored in IndexedDB and make Firefox use a default snippet set.
You can reset the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref via the right-click context menu to the default value to re-enable the snippets and make Firefox recreate the moz-safe-about+home folder.
Close and restart Firefox after changing the value of the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref.

In DW? Those lines are just in the editor. Preview in Browser
and you
won't see them .. if that's what you're talking about. Unless
you have
created borders and then solve that by setting border = to 0.
But what would really be helpful would be a URL to your page.

How do you get rid of the blank row/line after the header?

My report needs to use the "Different first Page" and "Odd and even page" layout options. However, after the header is printed, it also print out a blank line and then print out the data table. How can I get rid of the blank line. Also, after the table is printed. A blank line is printed and then it the footer gets print. How can I get rid of the blank line as well? Thanks for your help!

I get random fuzzy green screen appearing on macbook pro whenever I watch videos online. How do I get rid of it? I didn't have this problem before and I didn't do anything new to computer nor did I drop it.

On the TV or iMac display and is Mirroring On or Off?
First check all of your cables, connectors and connections.
If it's a really strong green hue, then there is probably something wrong with the cabling or a connection.
If it is only slightly off hue, then go to: System Preferences > Displays > select the Color tab for whichever and try selecting a different Display Profile or setting a new Profile by selecting the Calibrate.... button.

How do I get rid of the numbers after the URL when I type one in the search field?

I got an update from Firefox and now every time I put in a URL-- usually to get to Yahoo's home page, I get a bunch of numbers after the url, e.g., www.yahoo.com/01_CJekxpo and the numbers are different every time. Since Oct. 7 last I have a 5S. Before had a 4S. About 4S no complaints, so the 5S maybe faster, better cam and so on but what I really hate it that stupid white circle in a black square you can move around on your screen. However when you want to open, for instance <messages> and that white circle is very near, messages will not be opened but a uselless black sub scrn with favorites, Siri, Device, Home. Yes, you are right. I must have done it myself during the first days while exploring the many options after the initial set up was done. I want to thank all ot the folks who have helped me here in the Adobe Community. I'm new at this thing and have done fairly well with the exception of a few problems between the monitor and the chair.
I have published my site on the business catalyst temp host. I also uploaded the site to a ftp host (ATT web hosting), aabeaumont.org. Today and yesterday I have a page title text showing up in the brouser fill area on both hosts. What am I doing to cause this issue and what do I have to do to get rid of the unwanted text. The text shows up differently as I go to each page in the primary site map.

It may be possible that the HTML for head (Page Properties -> Metadata) section contains a tag etc. that hasn't been properly closed. You may want to check that once.

Double click the home button then swipe the google app up to close it. If that doesn't work, press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own. If that doesn't work try deleting and reinstalling app.

How do I get rid of the black edges going around my TV with mac mini?

I'm using my moms account right now. Well anyway, my dad decided the other day that we should connect this mac mini we have to the tv to use as a media center for movies and music. I got it all hooked up in no time flat, but I'm having this problem with the video it is outputting. It's making this big black line around the edge of the screen, as if the image isn't big enough to cover the entire screen. This is really annoying when watching movies. I checked the apple solutions, and found the dumbest solution saying "Turn on over scan and then manually adjust the settings on your tv", which would completally screw up the image for anything else besides the mac mini plugged into the tv. Is there a way I can fix this? I got this program called "DisplayConfigX" to fix it, but I need to enter very specific information about my TV such as the horizontal frequency and aspect ratio, which of course the TV manual does not have in it. Can somebody help me out here? I'm sure many people have done this with their mac minies already. If it helps, my tv is a Sony Trinitron, model KV-36XBR250. It's difficult to find any detailed information on the TV on the net considering it was purchased in 1999. Thx!

If you have an older, PowerPC Mac mini and not the newer Intel one, I recommend you download and install ATI Displays 4.5.7 which can be found at the below link:

You will then find an extra panel in System Preferences... which will offer a lot more control over the video output to the Sony TV compared with the meager controls you get as standard from Mac OS X. Good luck.
