How do I get rid of CC and CC 2014?
My complementary CC expired and I downloaded trial CC 2014. Now I cannot use my CS6 licensed products. I removed all CC products and spent much time removing many remnants and finally removed CS6 products and manually cleaned CC from the registry. I reloaded CS6 products and got Premiere working but not Photoshop and Encore CS6. Today I found AdobeCreatriveCloudCleaner but it did not help and the instructions are for a windows tool but it is a command line tool.
What do I do now?
After running the cleaner and reinstalling a perpetual license version there SHOULD not be a message about a Cloud subscription

Go under settings, mail, contacts and calendars and then choose only to sync back 50 or 100 or 1000 mails. Chances are you don't really need the old ones on your device and it'll save room (I have mine set to 50)

In iphoto11when I go to advanced preferences to choose an external editor (PSE11), the drop down menu just shows iPhoto and DSCF0586, which if chosen takes me to the desktop. How do I get rid of DSCF0586 and insert Adobe Elements11?
Click on DSCF0586 and then navigate to the PSE 11 application and select it.

I'm still not clear about what you mean about unlocking your phone. Normally, "unlocking" means entering the password if the phone is locked, which you should be able to do from the phone itself. If you want more help with this, you really need to take the time to furnish all the relevant details.
I have a MacBook Pro, and yes when I connect my iPhone on it it shows up in the devices list.
When you do that & click on the iPhone in the list, then click on the "Apps" tab at the top, do you see the apps you can't update listed there? If you click on the "Store" menu item does it show near the bottom that you are logged in with your own Apple ID?
As wjosten said, it sounds like one way or another, the apps you cannot update were obtained using your friend's Apple ID. You need to delete them from your phone & try buying them again. If they were in fact paid for with your own Apple ID you won't have to pay again; otherwise you will. -
The message icon on my iphone indicates that there is an unopened text message, but when i go into it, it just opens up a blank message, and there is no option to delete it. Any suggestions how i can get rid of this message, and prevent my phone from always opening up in the blank message whenever i go into my messages, rather than just opening as my inbox?
Many thanksHard restart.. While the phone is powered in, hold the power and home button. Hold them down and keep them held down. the phone will eventually shut itself off and reopen. keep held down till you see the appl elogo, then release. This will not delete anything off your phone, it will just force all apps to stop their current process. If you just turn the phone on and off, it will just pick up where it left off. Good luck

I can't get rid of "INBOX" and go back to "GOOGLE" when I open Firefox. The posted solutions requires me to start by entering about:config in the location bar. I don't have the foggiest notion of what the Hell is a location bar and what the next step means: "in the filter at the top......". Don't have any idea how this got changed during the last day or so, but it is extremely irritating and THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL TO GET A REAL LIVE PERSON TO FIX THIS ISSUE.

Fix Some Browser Pop-ups That Take Over Safari.

First, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and your computer has not been affected. This "hijack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so do not pay any money, call the listed number, or provide any personal information. This article will outline the solution to dismiss the pop-up.
Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
Relaunch Safari
If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.
This will not work in all cases. The shift key must be held at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window reappears. In these circumstances, after force quitting Safari, turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then relaunch Safari normally. It will try to reload the malicious webpage, but without a connection, it won't be able to. Navigate away from that page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com, and trying to load it.
